“Yes, my lord!” Shepherd Frost bowed and spoke.
“Mr. Billy, it’s an honor to finally meet you!” Isabell turned to Billy and said.
“I heard from Roselyn that you might come to Phoenix City. I had planned to find time to meet you, but then this happened.”
“I apologize for any neglect!”
“Lord Isabell, you’re too kind!” Billy nodded and continued, “Do you have any strategies?”
“Difficult!” Isabell shook her head.
“If we fight with all our might without considering the consequences, there might be a slim chance of victory. But in that case, the safety of millions of city residents cannot be guaranteed!”
“What is Black Dragon City’s objective?” Billy asked.
“Lord Isabell, long time no see!” Before Billy could finish, a man’s voice echoed from the sky.
As the voice faded, a group of about a hundred people appeared in the distance.
Soon, as the group approached, their auras became evident.
The middle-aged man leading them, who had just spoken, was at the sixth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm.
Behind him was a black-robed elder, the highest-ranking among them, at half step into the eighth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm.
Next to the black-robed elder stood a white-robed man with waxy pale skin and blood-red eyes, exuding an extremely cold aura.
Besides these three, there were over ten Breaking Emptiness Realm experts in the crowd. The rest were not weak either, most being at the Perfection Emptiness Realm.
The overall strength of Black Dragon City was comparable to Frost Palace. From their formation, it seemed that apart from the eighth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm expert, at least sixty to seventy percent of their high-end combat power was present!
“Blake Black, what exactly does Black Dragon City want?” Roselyn shouted angrily at the other side.
“Not talking to you, get lost!” Blake Black replied coldly and then turned back to Isabell.
“Lord Isabell, have you considered what our city lord proposed last time?”
“A thousand years ago, we had an agreement not to engage in large-scale conflicts within the city. Have you forgotten?” Isabell asked.
“Heh, of course not!” Blake Black laughed. “I don’t think there will be a large-scale conflict today!”
The implication was clear: Phoenix City didn’t have the guts to clash with them!
“Are you so confident?” Isabell frowned.
She understood his implication but seemed to have no other choice.
As she mentioned earlier, declaring war would lead to mutual destruction.
Such an outcome would endanger millions of Phoenix City residents, something she didn’t want to see.
“Heh, what do you think?” Blake Black continued. “Unless you want Phoenix City to disappear!”
Before Isabell could respond, he continued.
“You should know we have the power. So, think carefully about our city lord’s proposal!”
“It’s not a bad deal for you, is it?”
“I hate people who pretend to be tough!” Stout’s voice rang out. “No real skills, just loudmouths. A bunch of idiots!”
Everyone turned to look at him.
“City lord, what exactly is he talking about?” Stout ignored the others and asked Isabell.
“Kid, are you tired of living?” A fifth-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm man from the other side shouted at Stout.
“Not talking to you, shut up!” Stout replied again.
“If you want to die, as you wish!” The man roared and sent a gust of wind towards Stout.
“Get lost!” Stout punched back.
With a loud bang, the man was sent flying five or six hundred meters away and fell from mid-air, losing all combat power in one move.
“You seek death!” Seeing this, a first-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm elder from the other side frowned and charged at Stout.
“If you make a move, you’ll die!” Billy said calmly.
“Arrogant! Let’s see how you’ll make me die!” The first-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm elder didn’t take Billy seriously.
As he spoke, he formed a seal and attacked Stout.
Halfway through his attack, a violent palm strike from Billy roared out.
With Billy’s current strength, if he intended to kill, a first-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm expert wouldn’t stand a chance.
After a loud bang, the elder flew several hundred meters away and died mid-air.
“Hmm?!” Seeing this, most people on-site turned to look at Billy again.
A sixth-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm casually killed a first-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm expert with one palm?!
“Bastard! Prepare to die!” A fifth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm elder from the other side roared and prepared to attack.
“Stop!” Blake Black shouted.
He then turned to Billy. “You don’t seem to be from Phoenix City. What’s your name?”
He had dealt with Phoenix City for a long time but had never seen such a powerful young man before.
“City lord, what exactly did he propose?” Billy ignored him and asked Isabell.
“The Black Dragon City lord wants our city lord to be his woman and for Phoenix City to become a subordinate city of Black Dragon City!” Roselyn replied.
“Knew it would be something like that!” Stout clicked his tongue and looked at Billy.
“Boss, do you think we can take down those flying beasts? So many beast cores could help us break through to the Entering Ancestry Realm!”
Casey and others: Stout, is this really the time to think about beast cores? Isn’t life more important? And isn’t your confidence in Boss a bit too blind?
There are over twenty high-level Hellhound Beasts! Equivalent to over twenty late-stage Breaking Emptiness Realm experts!
“Shut up!” Ivy glared at him.
“Lord Isabell, are these your reinforcements? Are you underestimating us?” Blake Black continued looking at Isabell.
“Are you from the Beast Wranglers’ Alliance?” Before Isabell could respond, Billy turned to the pale-faced middle-aged man and asked.
“Good eye!” The middle-aged man glanced at Billy and introduced himself. “Beast Wranglers’ Alliance, The Bookish Beastmaster!”
“Hmm?!”
Hearing this, many elders from Phoenix City exclaimed in shock.
“Elder Shepherd, who is he?” Bob asked Shepherd Frost beside him. “Isn’t he just from the Beast Wranglers’ Alliance? Why such a big reaction?”
“He is indeed from the Beast Wranglers’ Alliance but was the previous leader of the fifth-tier star domain’s Beast Wranglers’ Alliance. He hasn’t shown up in nearly a hundred years!” Shepherd Frost replied.
“He was also the most outstanding leader of the Beast Wranglers’ Alliance in nearly a thousand years!”
“I was wondering how they managed to tame so many high-level flying beasts. Turns out it was him!”
“A two-hundred-year-old monster?” Bob clicked his tongue.
“Young man, you don’t seem ordinary either. What’s your name?” The Bookish Beastmaster looked at Billy and asked.
“Billy!” Billy replied calmly.
Blake Black was slightly taken aback. “You’re Billy?!”
