“If possible, Mr. Billy, please lend us a hand!” Shepherd Frost responded after a slight pause.
The people behind him were unaware of Billy’s situation, but he had learned from Liana that ten days ago, the Frost Palace Sect Master had died at Billy’s hands.
That was one of the few late-stage Breaking Emptiness Realm experts in the fifth-tier star domain!
“Why?” Stout asked again.
“In terms of conduct, Black Dragon City is worse than Frost Palace!” Shepherd Frost replied.
“In this star domain, wherever Black Dragon City governs, there is constant war, survival of the fittest, and the people suffer greatly!”
“By comparison, Phoenix City’s territory is much better managed, with orderly governance and a much higher happiness index among ordinary citizens.”
“If Black Dragon City captures Phoenix City, the millions of citizens here will likely be innocently affected…”
“Let’s go take a look then!” Billy interrupted him and started walking towards the door.
Soon, everyone arrived at the courtyard.
They could all clearly feel that the once bright sky had dimmed significantly, and the oppressive atmosphere was much stronger than before.
“Why did it suddenly get dark?” Judge couldn’t help but ask.
“Let’s go up and see!” Billy said as he led everyone into the air.
As soon as they reached mid-air, Soul Chaser couldn’t help but curse, “What the heck is that?”
Not only him, but everyone’s expressions also changed.
A large shadow was flying towards the city from the horizon, blocking out the sun and causing the sky to darken.
Soon, they could clearly see what it was-a massive flock of flying beasts, numbering at least in the thousands.
Not only were there many of them, but each flying beast was also extremely large, at least twice the size of those seen at Yheng Institute some time ago.
“So many?” Stout couldn’t help but drool.
“These flying beasts are at least Shadow Beast level, right? I’ll need a special storage ring just for their beast cores!”
Everyone: Stout, is this really the time to think about beast cores?
You don’t even know what level these flying beasts are. You might end up as their food!
“Black Dragon City and Beast Wranglers’ Alliance are truly despicable!” Shepherd Frost said angrily.
“Years ago, when the four superpowers united to annihilate the Netherworld Clan, there was an agreement not to wage large-scale wars within city limits!”
“If two forces inevitably have to engage in large-scale conflict, they should do so in sparsely populated areas.”
“Unless one side is too afraid to fight, then it’s a different matter!”
“Black Dragon City having Beast Wranglers’ Alliance bring so many flying beasts to Phoenix City completely disregards that agreement!”
“Elder Shepherd, can you determine the level of these flying beasts?” Harleen asked with a frown.
“Most are Shadow Beast and Phantom Beast level!” Shepherd Frost replied with a very serious expression.
“There are also nearly a hundred Hellhound Beasts, with about a third being high-level Hellhound Beasts, comparable in strength to late-stage Breaking Emptiness Realm!”
“So strong?” Casey and the others were stunned.
That’s equivalent to having twenty or thirty late-stage Breaking Emptiness Realm experts?
Most importantly, as previously known, these flying beasts have greater resilience than warriors of the same level!
Is Black Dragon City planning to massacre the city?!
“Boss, forget it. We don’t need the beast cores!” Stout said after smacking his lips. “Let’s leave and go back to City of the Unclaimed!”
While they were talking, the dark mass of flying beasts had already approached the City Lord’s Mansion.
At the same time, four or five hundred figures rose into the air from the mansion’s courtyard, all with very serious expressions.
Additionally, around a thousand figures flew towards the City Lord’s Mansion from different parts of the city.
These were evidently strong individuals from various forces within Phoenix City. Like those from the mansion, they also wore heavy expressions.
“Mr. Billy, Stout is right. You should leave and go back to City of the Unclaimed!” Shepherd Frost said to Billy.
“Black Dragon City probably won’t act against City of the Unclaimed for now. Stay there for a few days and let Chieftain Liana arrange for you to go to a sixth-tier star domain. Once there, find Miss…”
He initially wanted Billy to help Phoenix City based on the assumption that their forces were evenly matched.
But given the current situation, these flying beasts alone could destroy the entire city. The City Lord’s Mansion couldn’t possibly resist.
Having Billy help now would only result in more casualties without any meaningful outcome.
“Let’s take a look first!” Billy interrupted Shepherd Frost.
“Mr. Billy…” Shepherd Frost hesitated but continued.
“Thank you for your concern, Elder Shepherd. It’s fine!” Billy interrupted again and flew towards the City Lord’s Mansion, with Casey and others following closely behind.
Shepherd Frost thought for a moment and decided not to persuade further. He led a group of Alchemists’ Alliance members after them.
Soon, they arrived above the City Lord’s Mansion. Other strong individuals from within the city had also gathered.
The thousands of flying beasts hovered in the distance without attacking immediately, evidently awaiting orders from their Beast Wrangler.
So far, no one from the opposing side had shown themselves apart from these flying beasts.
Billy and his group looked towards those from the City Lord’s Mansion and recognized one person-Roselyn, whom they had met at the Cooper family earlier.
Standing in front of her was a woman in purple robes, about her age, with beautiful features and an air of nobility that exuded queenly grace in every gesture.
“Elder Shepherd, who is that woman?” Night Orchid asked, pointing at the woman in purple robes.
“She is Isabell, the Lord of Phoenix City!” Shepherd Frost replied.
“Huh?” Everyone was taken aback.
“She’s the city lord? She doesn’t look very old,” Felicia couldn’t help but ask.
“Don’t be fooled by Lord Isabell’s age. Her wisdom and personal strength make her more than capable of this position. She holds great respect within the City Lord’s Mansion,” Shepherd Frost explained again.
“What is her cultivation level?” Frostblade asked.
“Her martial talent is exceptional. A year ago, she was already at late-stage Perfection Emptiness Realm,” Shepherd Frost continued.
“A year ago, when the old city lord was gravely injured, he transferred all his power to her on his deathbed. Within two months, she advanced to mid-stage Breaking Emptiness Realm.”
“And now she is at seventh-rank late-stage Breaking Emptiness Realm!”
Hearing this, everyone couldn’t help but gasp in amazement.
In her thirties and already at seventh-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm!
Truly astonishing!
“Mr. Frost, you’re here too!” At this moment, Isabell approached them with Roselyn.
“If I’m not mistaken, this must be Mr. Billy?”
