Sofia had something important to do, so she left immediately after the class was over. Olivia, went all by herself to the library to read, she was on her way, when she saw Ava come out from one of the empty classrooms.
“Hey, miss mistress.” she said, blocking Olivia’s way.
Olivia frowned, her anger suddenly rising. She shot Ava a glare, “What do you want?”
Ava sneered, her hatred for Olivia written all over her face. “What do you want? As if you can offer me anything, that is yours and not from your sugar daddy.”
Olivia smiled, she wasn’t in the mood for Ava’s drama, as everything happening in her life was enough to give her stress.
“Can you move away, I have no time for your silly drama right now.” Olivia, brushed past and made to leave, when Ava’s next words made her freeze.
“Quack me, and be arrogant as much as you want, we both know you’re the loser. I have both parents alive, what about you? Tsk” she sneered, twitching her lips, as her gaze was intently fixed on Olivia. She couldn’t see her face, but could tell, she was battling with her emotions, she prayed deep down, that her mom was really dead.
Olivia’s heart tugged with pain, her heart suddenly aching as if it was being twisted by an invisible hand. “No, no, don’t cry Olivia. That’s what she wants, don’t give away your emotions to her.” She murmured in her mind, taking a deep breath, as she tried to suppress the emptiness and ache she felt.
Olivia chuckled, slightly startling Ava, whose expression suddenly turned sour. She frowned and moved sharply, so she could see Olivia’s face. Her frown got deeper, as she couldn’t decipher any emotion on Olivia’s face.
“What’s there to laugh about? If I were you, I’d be crying. Your mom might not even make it out of her sickness, death sometimes is the perfect place for people like her.”
Slap!
Olivia’s palm collided with Ava’s cheek, in a sound and hard slap. The slap was so painful, that Ava’s cheek broke, her eyes stung with pain, as she glared at Olivia.
Unknown to Olivia, few students were coming behind her back. Ava was quick to see them, she held her palm and started crying.
“You dare to slap me because I was telling you the truth? Olivia, I curse you and your mother, your mother will die painfully and you? You’ll end up miserable.” Ava sobbed, her eyes glaring ferociously at Olivia, but she was sure to make her voice inaudible, that no one would hear it, apart from Olivia.
Olivia, who was unaware of the people behind her, lounged herself towards Ava, and slapped her cheeks three times, before she pushed her to the floor.
Ava didn’t even bother to fight back, as she kept up wailing, making herself the victim. The students were busy videoing them, while speaking ill of Olivia, it wasn’t long before two students slipped their phones inside the pants and rushed towards them.
Olivia, still fueled by anger and rage, wasn’t ready to let Ava go, as grip were firm on her hair, pulling it and scratching her face.
Finally, the boys pulled her away from Ava, who was now red and purple from Olivia’s attack.
“Are you okay?” One of the students asked, as he helped Ava up, his gaze lingering pitifully on her.
Ava nodded and began to sob, “I only told her to stop being sharp mouthed, that it wouldn’t make her less beautiful. I didn’t know she was such a bully” she cried, holding her face.
Olivia frowned, slightly surprised at how easily Ava could make up a lie. She chuckled slightly, brushing back the strands of her hair that fell across her face.
Olivia turned to look around, as she was hearing murmurs and insults, obviously thrown at her, the students were also looking at with hatred plastered on their faces, somewhere even taking videos.
It was then that Olivia knew that Ava had set up, she purposely put on the whole show just to make her become a bully in front of everyone. What would she expect from someone like Ava?
“What’s happening there?” A teacher yelled, as she stood at the far end.
“One of the students got someone beaten up for no reason!” Lucy answered, her face etched with a scorn that was directed at Olivia.
“Lucy, you didn’t have to be the teacher, we’ll sort things out ourselves. They might expel or suspend her, because of me.” Ava said, trying to defend Olivia.
“Oh my God, you’re so kind. Look what this bully did to you, yet you’re speaking for her? tch” another student sighed.
Olivia found it funny, but didn’t laugh. She couldn’t even bring herself to explain to them what exactly happened. It was obvious who they were going to listen to.
“Come let’s take you to the school clinic, don’t be kind to people who don’t deserve it, she’s obviously a sadist to do this to her fellow girl.”
When the teacher came closer, the students were quick to point at Olivia as the one who started the fight. Olivia was all by herself, for no reason, she wished Morgan would come and take out of the school, but it seemed to be an extravagant illusion.
The teacher threw a glance at Olivia, her face turned sour with disdain and disgust. “To the director’s office, immediately!”she yelled, startling.
Olivia wanted to say something, but stilled herself, just then, her phone pinged with a message, and everyone’s phone started to make the same sound, indicating a message.
They exchanged glances between themselves, and proceeded to check the phone. Even the teacher took out her phone to check the message.
A sad smile escaped Olivia’s lips, as she watched the video. It was actually of Video of when she lunged towards Ava and started beating her. They didn’t even film it from the beginning and the sounds were tampered with.
Olivia was sure that the one who uploaded the clip was also working with Olivia.
“You dare to do this to a fellow student? I’m sure the principal would see this, we can’t have someone like you in this school!” The teacher barked at Olivia and brushed past her.
Olivia was sure that the video had gone viral, she was sure that everyone was now speaking ill about her, but it didn’t bother her.
All she wanted to do with her life was to give birth to Morgan’s child, end the Contract and move far away from Manilla, where she would be able to start a whole new life.
“She isn’t even feeling remorse.” A student sneered, as she eyed Olivia.
“I won’t say anything to her, before she beats me up like she did with Ava.” Another girl jokes, as she laughed with her group.
Olivia was about to walk away from there, when her phone started ringing, she glanced at the screen and saw it was Morgan.
He might have watched the video, and now wants to cancel the contract, because she had brought a dent to his reputation and he can’t have someone like her be the mother of his child.
Different thoughts ran through Olivia’s mind, as her gaze remained on the ringing phone.
