Morgan was in his study room, his gaze and attention focused on his laptop. He hadn’t gone to the office for some days, as he was occupied by Olivia’s issues and left the work for Nicholas.
Xavier had been surprisingly calm since he got out of the cell, but Morgan wasn’t one to buy such a trick. He knew Xavier would never change so whatever he was planning or brewing, Morgan knew it wouldn’t take a long time to come to light.
He was punching his keyboard, when he heard a slight noise from outside the room. He pretended not to hear it and continued but the noise increased, like a footstep, it was either going or coming.
Morgan pushed his laptop aside and got up from the chair, he slowly opened the door, as his gaze followed the direction of the footstep. He frowned, when he saw Olivia’s petite figure, moving further into the kitchen.
He followed her, but stopped before he could enter the kitchen. Rather, he drew out a chair for himself in the dining room and sat down.
Olivia, who was unaware that she was seen, went ahead to open the fridge. She couldn’t sleep very well, as a result of being hungry, she kept on tossing and tossing until she couldn’t take it anymore and got up to go make food for herself.
Her health had improved very much, as a result of the tonic, Fredrick gave to her.
Olivia’s eyes darted around the stuck up and groceries filled fridge, unsure of what to cook. Finally she took out eggs, sausage and a few vegetables, Including two packs of instant noodles.
It wasn’t long before she was done cooking, she settled the food on the tray and carried it to the dinning.
Just when she was about to sit down, she felt a pair of icy eyes fixed on her back, piercing that she couldn’t help but turn. Olivia felt a rush of adrenaline, as her eyes met with a dark silhouette in the dinning.
She was about to scream, when Morgan turned on the light, revealing his face, somehow making her stop amidst her scream.
“What were you thinking, standing there in the dark…. you crept me out!” She heaved a deep sigh, while clutching her chest.
“I should be asking you, what you were doing, being up by this time.”
“Here.” Olivia pointed at the tray on the table. “I was hungry, so I decided to….” She trailed off on her last word and brought her face down.
“I’m pretty sure, you have one of the servants’ numbers, you could call one of them to make something for you.” Morgan scolded, obviously not happy.
“How would you feel, if I were to wake you up from sleep at midnight and ask you to make food for me, even after a stressful day?” Olivia asked, still not meeting his gaze, as her head was still lowered.
“As long as it’s something I can make, then it’s fine. You’re carrying my child.”
Olivia chuckled, her gaze lingering on his face for a while, before she looked away.
“My food might get cold, if I stand here any longer.”
With that she turned around and went to sit down, so she could eat. Morgan’s gaze followed her, till she was seated.
“When you’re done, come to my study room, your tonic is there.”
Olivia frowned, “You’re not making me take that tonic by this time, are you?”
“Of course, why? You’re to drink it, anytime you take in food.”
“I should as well not eat this food.” Olivia hissed.
“Tell that to your stomach. Don’t forget to come get it, once you’re done, if I come myself, you’d be sorry.”
“Yen yen yen.” Olivia sighed, cursing Morgan, fifteen times in her mind.
Morgan is yet to sit down, when his phone started to vibrate, he glanced at the desk and saw the now lit screen flashing with the name XW. He smirked and reached for his phone.
Shortly after they had ended, Olivia knocked on the door and pushed it open after she received a response from Morgan.
Morgan took in her figure, as she walked in, his gaze settled on her abdomen, and his heart tugged with different emotions.
“I’m here for the tonic.” Olivia said, jolting him awake from his little trance.
Morgan raised his gaze at her face, there was a hint of wariness and shyness glued to her eyes.
Olivia could clearly remember having sex with Morgan in the room, especially the desk, the images were flooding into her head like some kind of vision. It made her wary and nervous, like it was going to happen again, but no way would she let him touch her again.
Morgan seemed to know what she was thinking, and a sly smile escaped his lips. “Calm down Olivia, you’re only here to get the tonic.” He smiled and she blushed. He pulled out one of the drawers, where the tonic was kept.
Olivia’s face darkened in disdain, as he saw the content inside the bottle, Morga handed to her. Truth be told, the tonic was good as Fredrick had described it to be, but Olivia hated the taste, probably it was from her buds, because they all said it had a sweet taste.
“You need help with taking it?” Morgan said, reminding Olivia that the tonic was right in her hand.
Olivia nodded, she uncapped the bottle and brought it to her lips, with face scrunched up, Olivia covered her nose.
“I can’t!” She pulled the bottle away from her mouth. “I can’t drink it.”
Her gaze met with Morgan, who stared silently at her, he shook his head and sighed. “Come here.”
Olivia moved slowly towards him, and stood.
“Here, sit here.” He said, tapping his lap.
Olivia wanted to protest, but decided against it. She slowly sat on his lap, her heart pounding so hard, her nervousness kicked in.
Morgan pressed her shoulder, as if trying to calm her nervous and racing heart. She shuddered, her body jolting in ecstasy.
“Sensitive, huh?” Morgan hummed, and slowly took the bottle from her hand.
He sipped quite an amount from the bottle and brought Olivia’s face closer, that their nose was touching each other, he slowly kissed, making her swallow the tonic from his mouth.
Morgan did it over and over, until the liquid was finished, his lips still glued to hers and the kiss growing intense. Just when Olivia thought he would intensify the kiss, he broke it, his gaze locked with hers.
“Go and sleep, it’s late already.” He murmured, his eyes clouded with somethings she had seen before, but couldn’t point out.
She nodded slowly and got out of his lap.
