The Ferrari sped towards the restaurant at an astonishing pace, executing a flawless 360-degree drift just before arriving. Before the car had fully stopped, a muscular and handsome young man stepped out.
The youth wore jeans paired with a blue T-shirt, his hair cropped short. His entire being exuded an aura of unparalleled dominance. From his expression and demeanor, it was clear he was burning with rage.
“Mr. Atkinson, you’re finally here!” Declan rushed forward like a loyal dog as soon as Nathan parked.
“Damn it! Which blind fool dares to covet my woman?” Nathan roared, kicking his Ferrari viciously.
The kick left a large dent in the car door. Onlookers winced at the sight, knowing this was a multi-million dollar luxury car, and the damage from that single kick would cost at least a hundred thousand to repair.
“Some out-of-towner. They’ve already gone into the restaurant, acting very intimate. The guy’s like a pretty boy kept by your woman. Mr. Atkinson, you should go in and see for yourself!” Declan urgently pointed towards the revolving restaurant’s entrance.
At the words “pretty boy,” Nathan’s fury skyrocketed. His fists clenched, joints cracking audibly. His anger had reached its peak. In his mind, Sariah was already his woman. Now, his woman was out with someone else – this kind of “betrayal” was intolerable for any man.
“Bastard!” Nathan bellowed, striding into the restaurant.
Everyone in Inassea knew about Nathan’s explosive temper. Whoever had just entered the restaurant with Sariah was surely in for a beating.
People thought Sariah and Nathan made a good match. After all, Nathan was the sole heir to Inassea’s top capital, from a prestigious background, tall and imposing. He looked perfect standing next to Sariah. But who was this nobody who had just gone in with her?
He was a nobody, unworthy of the goddess!
Their being together was an insult to the goddess, an insult to everyone’s ideal!
A filthy man dating the top beauty – how infuriating!
Nathan had entered the restaurant, but was stopped at the door by Dale Borman, the manager.
“Mr. Atkinson, sir, what brings you here?” Dale asked with a respectful smile. Although this was the Henderson family’s investment, Nathan still commanded considerable respect.
“None of your business. Step aside if you know what’s good for you!” Nathan said, shoving Dale to the ground. Seeing this, dozens of armed security guards immediately surrounded them.
“Mr. Atkinson, sir, are you here to cause trouble?” Dale asked as he got up.
Nathan snorted angrily, “What? You want to go against me?”
“I wouldn’t dare!” Dale bowed, “Mr. Atkinson, sir, this is Henderson family territory after all.”
“You have three seconds to disappear, or I’ll beat you all into the hospital!” Nathan clenched his fists, looking murderous.
“Mr. Atkinson, sir, please don’t put me in a difficult position!” Dale said awkwardly.
“Three!”
“Two!”
“One!”
Without another word, Nathan rolled up his sleeves and sprang into action. As he moved towards the stairs, Dale shouted, “Stop him!”
The dozen or so guards unhesitatingly blocked Nathan’s path. Nathan grabbed one guard’s arm with precision and struck forcefully. A crack rang out as the man’s bone snapped. In quick succession, bang, bang, bang – within a minute, over a dozen burly men lay on the ground, groaning in pain.
Nathan glared at Dale and barked, “I’ll deal with you when I come back down!”
Despite his worldly experience, Dale couldn’t help but shudder. Nathan’s prowess was truly terrifying, breaking bones with a single blow and leaving everyone writhing on the floor.
He gulped, his heart filled with trepidation.
In the private room, Kayden and Sariah had already had several rounds of drinks. Sariah’s cheeks were flushed, seemingly unable to hold her liquor well. She held a glass elegantly, smiling as she said, “Dr. Scott, this toast is to thank you for curing my chronic problem! If it weren’t for you, I don’t know how much longer I would have suffered.”
“It was nothing,” Kayden replied calmly, then drained his glass.
After drinking, he scrutinized Sariah once more. The woman before him was cool and distant three years ago. Who would have thought that in just three short years, she would be sitting at the same table, drinking with him as a stranger?
In the past, Kayden wouldn’t have dared to drink with Sariah even if he was insane. But now, Kayden was Sariah’s lifesaver, and their relative positions had shifted..
