Tilda made sure to emphasize multiple times that Rosalind should focus on enjoying herself without getting emotionally involved, as if she feared Rosalind would become too entangled in romance.
Later, the conversation somehow circled back to Malcolm.
“My cousin really likes you. Even if you’re not considering it now, when you eventually want a boyfriend, could you give him a chance?” Tilda suggested.
Rosalind let out a sigh. “Considering my current situation, don’t you think I’m not good enough for your cousin?”
“What are you talking about? If he can marry you, he’d be the lucky one! Besides, what’s wrong with having some adult fun? It’s only natural! My cousin isn’t the type to be bothered by such things,” Tilda reassured her with a laugh.
Rosalind couldn’t help but chuckle.
At times, she envied Tilda. Despite her straightforward words, Tilda lived her life with clarity and freedom.
“Tilda, I appreciate your concern, and your cousin is genuinely a good person. However, I’m not in a position to discuss love right now,” Rosalind explained.
“Then I’ll have him wait! After all, you’ll get married sooner or later.” Tilda playfully shook Rosalind’s arm. “I just want you to be my cousin-in-law so we can truly be a family!”
Rosalind looked at Tilda and spoke earnestly.
No matter what the future held, Tilda would always be considered family to her.
Currently, Rosalind was overwhelmed with numerous problems to solve. But she never entertained the thought of giving up! She knew that one day she would overcome it all.

After a sleepless night, at least she could catch up on sleep during the plane ride the next day.
Early in the morning, Cedric personally arrived to pick her up, causing Rosalind to feel somewhat embarrassed.
“I could have gone to the airport by myself. It’s too much trouble for you,” Rosalind protested.
“It’s on the way. Don’t worry about it.” Cedric placed her suitcase in the car and began explaining the itinerary for the business trip. “When we arrive, you won’t need to attend the negotiations on the first day. My assistant and I will handle that.”
Rosalind buckled her seatbelt in the front passenger seat and asked, slightly puzzled, “Then what will be my task?”
“… Not much.” Cedric hesitated because Mr. Walters had specifically requested Rosalind’s presence and he couldn’t disobey his orders. “Oh, right. On Tuesday, you’ll need to drive to the airport to pick up Mr. Walters. His flight arrives at ten in the evening.”
Upon this reminder, Rosalind suddenly recalled something. “Um, can I not go? I’m not familiar with the roads in Fragrant Harbor…”
“If it’s too challenging, then forget it! We don’t want people to think you’re leveraging your connection with Mr. Walters for personal gain. It wouldn’t be good for his reputation,” Cedric assured her with a chuckle.
“Do you think anyone in our company has the time to gossip about that?”
He wasn’t exaggerating. The employees who loved to gossip were usually from branch offices like Prosperity Holdings. The headquarters staff might be part of the group chat, but they rarely engaged in spreading rumors.
“Entering W Group’s headquarters is a significant milestone! Many people would do anything to get in. The company is always replacing employees, everyone is concerned about their performance and the risk of being let go. Who has time for idle gossip?”
Take Rosalind, for example. She had weekends off while working at Prosperity Holdings. Since joining the headquarters, when was the last time she didn’t work overtime?
