She lifted the quilt and got out of bed. Sachin, who had been woken up by the noise, also sat up. Seeing her acting so anxiously, his brows furrowed. “What happened?”
“Yayoi’s parents pleaded guilty.”
Rosiley walked into the bathroom quickly.
Pleaded guilty?!
Sachin’s brows furrowed even tighter. There was a tint of sternness in his gloomy expression.
He had not expected Yang Qianqian to act so quickly. It seemed that he had underestimated her.
Sachin and Rosiley rushed to the Seneca household quickly.
It was Morphy who opened the door.
“Where is Yayoi?” Rosiley asked anxiously.
“She’s inside.”
Rosiley glanced at him and then hurried in.
Yayoi was sitting on the sofa in the living room. Her face was expressionless and her eyes were empty and without spirit. She seemed to be in a particularly bad state.
She walked towards her and sat down. Then, she reached out to pull her into her arms. She said gently, “Don’t be scared, Yayoi. We are all here.”
Her gentle voice made the already-tense Yayoi break down instantly. She started bawling.
Hearing her cry, Rosiley felt a pinch in her heart. She could not help feeling a lump in her throat and her eyes were immediately covered with mist.
She hugged Yayoi tightly and let her tears fall silently.
At this moment, words of comfort seemed bleak and powerless.
She would let her cry it out.
Looking at them hugging each other in tears, both men were distressed. However, they also understood that they could only calm down and think of a solution after they had let out all of their emotions.
“Let’s talk about it first.”
Seeing that they were not going to stop for a while, Sachin side-glanced at Morphy before taking the initiative to walk towards the balcony.
Morphy followed closely behind.
The two equally outstanding men stood side by side on the balcony.
Sachin looked at the distant gloomy sky and his expression was as cold as ice.
“Have you sent someone to investigate?” he asked coldly.
“Yes,” Morphy replied faintly. A trace of annoyance flashed across his handsome face. “We’re still one step too late.”
Last night, Big Brother had called to remind him that the Yang family might take action, so he had ordered him to keep a close eye on them.
But he had still been too careless, letting the Yang family gain the upper hand.
“Being one step too late is not necessarily a bad thing. It just shows that the Yang family does not have concrete evidence they can use to prove that Yayoi’s parents are corrupt.”
Sachin’s eyes were slightly narrowed, emitting a trace of chilly intent. “Find a way to see Yayoi’s parents. No matter what the Yang family uses to threaten them, promise them that you can keep them safe, let them rest assured.”
“And then get Yayoi to appeal. Prepare the evidence, and take down the YanG in one shot.”
A cruel smile curled from the corners of Sachin’s lips. “Never show mercy to your opponents.”
He meant that they should not leave a way out for YanG and needed to destroy them completely.
This matched Morphy’s plans exactly.
Morphy turned around and leaned back against the railing. He then turned his head sideways to look at his cousin, then said with a smile, “Big Brother, you’re indeed the most ruthless one of us all.”
Sachin chuckled, “I would have died if I were not ruthless.”
Morphy raised his brows in agreement. He was right. If he was not ruthless, he would not have survived in the dangerous Lu family.
