Chapter 67 She’s Married

Callie did not insist on it. Rich people are lofty. They might try street food once, but it did not mean they would try it again.
Thus, she ate all by herself with relish. The chargrilled squid was fresh and juicy. Suddenly, Callie said, “Nelson, I feel a bit regretful.”
“For what?”
“That memory causes so much harm to Violet while I schemed to get close to her and let her recall it. It is not right.” Callie was caught in a dilemma.
Her heart was seldom softened for customers in these years because bonus was everything to her. As long as she could get the project, nothing seemed to matter.
But this time, something was different. After all, Violet spent 8 years on a scumbag while Callie’s target was to get the copyright back to the man from Violet which allowed him to make money hand over fist. What the hell?
The flavor of the seafood rushes into Nelson’s nose who subconsciously raised his arm and wanted to knead his brow, but he lowered it halfway. He asked, “Do you know Violet’s full name?”
Callie stopped chewing for a moment and said, “Violet Chan.”
Nelson picked up her dumped prod and bent it in half, “The boss of the DV company is Devon Fletcher, unmarried.”
Callie only knew his last name, so she wasn’t enlightened until now, “Holy, so the name of the company is combined by their first name, isn’t it?”
It was weird that Nelson did not think her slovenly although the remains of the food was hanging from her month. He added tonelessly, “And Violet has been married.”
“What!” Callie’s guess was overturned, and she grasped his wrist and asked, “Really? How did you know that?”
Nelson kept silent, looking at her slender hand.
In his circle, to know about such a thing was as easy as winking.
“That is, Violet has gotten over the past and got married with another man, but Devon has not and even used their first names for naming his company. Now that she has let it go, why did Skye fail to get the IP copyright?”
The information was sent to Nelson’s phone half an hour ago, so he learned about it just now. The man who provided it even felt surprised and asked, “Mr. Oconnor, why do you suddenly care about such trivial things?”
Nelson replied by typing with one hand, “Help my staff achieve her target.”
Callie was talking to herself. She was smart and soon figured it out, “So the key to the problem is not Violet but Devon. I got it!”
She pulled out a tissue and wiped her hands clean. When she was about to leave, suddenly, she felt that she just kicked Nelson off after he was no longer needed, so she sat back with a smile and said, “Nelson, are you sure you don’t try it? The seafood is good. Just order whatever you want. It’s on me.”
It was rare for her, such a tightwad, to treat.
However, Nelson responded in a neutral tone of voice, “I’m allergic to seafood.”
Callie was struck dumb, standing still. Gosh, she forgot it again.
Nelson had stood up and threw the broken prod into the trash can, saying, “You are the least responsible staff I have ever hired.”
“I’m sorry. I forgot to bring the note today,” Callie said awkwardly, then she picked up the case of roasted food and caught up with Nelson and she said, “Nelson, what about the roasted chicken leg? Do you like it? Cut me some slack.”
The case of roasted chicken leg was shown in front of Nelson. His eyebrows furrowed.
