Obviously, they looked very sweet, although they didn’t have much money and lived in financial straits.
Nelson took a few glances at the “cheesy posts” and asked, “Are you sure you can find something out by these posts?”
“Of course. It seems they were a sweet couple, but the posts were definitely dissembled. I’m sure I will find something if I read carefully,” Callie said with ease, scrolling down the page with the mouse.
Skye was not that heartless that she at least provided her with the physical address of that ex. However, before Callie figured out the reason why they broke up, she did not dare take the next step.
Nelson raised his arm and looked at the watch on his wrist. Then he gave her head a pat and said, “Time to go.”
Callie came out from her concentration and said, “Why so early today! Mr. Oconnor, wait, give me a second!”
Joaquin did not show up. Maybe it was because Callie had recently commuted with Nelson. Callie gave Tobias a call and asked him for a favor to pay more attention to Joaquin in the hospital in case something wrong happened. However, he told her that he didn’t see Joaquin either.
In the car, Nelson picked up a call which said, “Mr. Oconnor, the thing you told us to do is done. Joaquin owes our casino some money and it is legitimate to detain him.”
“Okay,” Nelson looked at Callie who was still focused on Twitter and then said, “don’t tell anyone else about it.”
“Got it.”
When Nelson hung up the call, Callie suddenly said in a tone of surprise, “I know it now!”
Nelson put down the phone slowly, “What did you find?”
Excitedly, Callie pointed at one of the posts on Twitter, “This is the reason why they broken up!”
-I was invited to dinner yesterday. The representative of the company promised they would capitalize 2 million. I was so happy, so I drink too much. However, when I woke up in the next morning, there is a strange woman lying next to me. I know I am not worth being forgiven. I feel guilty for Violet.
What a bombshell. Callie shook her head and clicked her tongue, “It turned out to be cheating.”
“She won’t give the IP copyright, will she?” Nelson knocked at the seat with his finger subconsciously.
“If I were her, I would sell it at an unattainable high price, to make sure that betrayer never gets it back,” said Callie who understood why Skye was rebuffed so many times.
“What are you going to do?”
“I…” Callie kept silent for a while and then looked at Nelson with a smirk, “the essential step to earn her trust is sympathize. Mr. Oconnor, could you do me a favor? ”
In the next day, Nelson got a business conference in the evening, and he said unto Cora Weber, “I’m gonna go out, please change it to an online meeting.”
Cora put the stuff away quickly and asked, “Mr. Oconnor, are you going to talk business? The meeting can be postponed and I can go with…”
“Some private businesses. No need to postpone. I will go alone.”
Cora was dumb for a while. Recently, Nelson had not asked her for reporting work in the morning, nor had he taken her outside for work.
There was a rumor in the office that Nelson began to marginalize Cora in order to defuse suspicion that they had an affair.
“Alone?”
Nelson typed on the phone with one hand “Coming downstairs now” and replied without his head raised, “Yes, and please coordinate the meeting online.”
In a cafe by the sea, many white collars were having a cup of coffee. Surrounded by office buildings, it was a good place for them to refresh after work.
“I’ve been with you for 7 years! How dare you cheat on me?”
