Mr. Montes was dumbfounded when he saw Nelson. His tight grip on Callie loosened, and Callie collapsed and fell to the ground.
Seeing this, Nelson had already guessed what had happened.

Mr. Montes explained at once, “She’s my colleague. She drank too much, so I’m taking her to the hotel upstairs to rest.”
