CHAPTER 27

ESTELLE
“What are you? You think she would listen to your silly command? ” Maya questioned, glaring at me.
The others stared at Brielle then back at me, refusing to believe my words.
Brielle just gazed back like a puppet, shivering like the weakling she has always been from day one.
“Come here,” I repeated, snapping my fingers at her.
This annoyed the others, who began to tell Brielle to shun me up.
“She is disrespecting you, despite the fact that you wasted your energy following her down here.”
“Luna, don’t take this nonsense from her. Call Alpha Argon, let him handle her.”
But to their surprise, Brielle walked up to me and went on her knees, obeying my command.
They were shocked at this, wondering if what they were witnessing was indeed true or a joke.
But their face expression was just satisfying to my soul.
It bloomed my pride, as I smirked and ordered once again, “Call me by my status and kiss my feet.”
“Yes, Luna Estelle,” Brielle obeyed, lowering down and kissing my feet.
I was more amazed by her compliance. I thought she was going to act all stubborn or fake an excuse not to do it, just like before.
“This is surprising. She didn’t even glare at me like she always does. Maybe she’s beginning to accept her place at last,” I smirked, lifting my eyes to the others, who mumbled in total shock.
They were blown away.
“This can’t be possible. A Luna kissing the feet of a common princess?” Maya uttered, showing her detest towards the situation.
But I didn’t care about how she sparked over this. After all, I have a higher position than her. She’s just a rich man’s daughter who’s trying to steal my shine.
And soon, she’ll be sorry when I become Argon’s queen.
“You can see for yourself. She’s my maid, ” I said, pushing Brielle to the ground with the sole of my shoe.
She fell like some kind of feather, planting laughter in my mouth.
I can’t understand her sometimes. Today she’s staring at you like a beast and the next she’s acting like paper.
It’s just like how Argon described her. Weak, foolish, dumb, and easy to control.
“So useless,” I mocked, cat walking away to get myself ready for the rehearsal.
The others had surrounded Brielle to help her to her feet. When I saw this, I immediately called her, “Come here! Who’s going to attend to my wardrobe?! ”
“I’m sorry. I’ll be there,” She responded like the helpless servant she was, rushing towards me.
I could still see the shock on the faces of the others, especially Maya.
They better believe it. Estelle has their Luna as her maid.
Throughout the rehearsal, I made sure Brielle didn’t get any rest. She served me my drinks and brought my towel to wipe my sweat, right in front of everyone.
When I felt like asserting my dominance, I splash or throw something at her, just to belittle Brielle.
Besides, she deserves this treatment. She was the one who foolishly chose to stay back and make Argon happy.
“Is this how to clean?” I yelled, kicking Brielle aside.
She was immediately supported by two other models, who stood against my mistreatment on her.
They even dared to call this to the manager’s attention. He was stunned.
He demanded to know why I was being rude to Brielle. But I wasn’t going to tell them why.
Instead, I smirked at Brielle and said, “Won’t you tell them, Luna? Tell them your sweet promise to me.”
Brielle lowered her head down and came up with a fake tale of us testing our emotional strength.
“I wish to feel what the poor servants are facing and learn to understand them.”
“You’re joking, right?” Maya uttered, lifting her brow.
“That is… What?”
They were all confused by her story.
Even I, myself, found it as the most stupidest reason in the entire universe. But what can I say? She’s a dummy.
“You heard her. So, buzz off and leave us alone, ” I said, chasing them away.
They all looked at me then at Brielle, most especially Maya. She had doubts and suspicion written all over her face.
It’s their business.
But I had to admit, showing this side in the open and giving no damm about people’s words, has brought nothing but strength to me.
“I know Argon won’t be pleased to learn about this, but I won’t let him find out. Until when the people have seen my place over Brielle, then he won’t have to hide himself any more,” I planned within, having a good vibe.
.
On the D day of my show, I decided to head out shopping with Brielle that morning I needed to get a new attire to wear when I’m being called out to receive praises, after show casing my skills.
But the moment we got outside the store, a large press surrounded Brielle and I, throwing questions at us.
Mostly at me.
“Is it true that you’re secretly abusing Alpha Argon’s wife so she’d give up her position for you?”
“Tell us. We heard you and your father are planning to take out the Luna and steal her place.”
“What… What is all these? ” I was horrified by this sudden gathering from the press.
They all wanted to know the reason behind my closeness with Brielle!
And what is this about me trying to steal her place? Who fed them all these lies?!
They kept bombarding me with questions, taking Brielle aside like a victim, who has been rescued from abuse.
I was being lashed by the press, who took me as a slut and whore!
This was unbearable!
“There have been pictures and videos of you flirting with the Alpha, and not just that, there were lots of pictures sent in from the runway studio. You were abusing Luna Brielle. What do you have to say about that?”
One showed the video of me kicking Brielle in a private room.
I was stunned because I remember very well that no one was present in this particular room, except for Brielle and I.
Who took this?
“You are trying to steal the Alpha away from the Luna, isn’t that right? ”
They questioned, giving me no space to breath.
“Speak! Maybe we’ll call Alpha Argon so he’ll see what a slut you are,” A lady in the crowd threatened me.
When I heard all these insults being rained on me, I flamed out at once.
“SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP!!” I sparked, pushing them back.
Still, they didn’t budge. They wanted the truth.
“You want the truth?! Okay then, I’ll give it to you, ” I said, glaring at them.
Right there, I revealed the secret Argon and I have been nurturing from the public.
“Your precious Alpha is my mate! He loves me so much and has divorced that woman to be with me! ” I yelled.
Everyone froze in shock when they heard this.
“What?”
“That’s a lie! Alpha Argon would never do such to his Luna.”
They doubted, calling me a liar.
But I had enough proof to back myself up.
Before all, I showed them pictures of Argon and I getting cozy and loving together.
The press were dumbfounded.
“Yes, this is solid proof. That woman is no longer his Luna, but his Ex-Luna. I am Alpha Argon’s soon to be wife and your Luna!” I pointed out, showing my dominance.
“His father made him marry a wolfless orphan like her, and he had no choice but to bear it. Now, he’s free to make his own choice and you can’t do anything about it! I am the true Luna of Wolf Crest Pack! ” I yelled out, feeling the fire burning within, launching out with force.
From everyone’s shocked expression, I could finally feel… Free.
There was no need to hide the truth anymore. It was bound to come out one day, and today is that day.
My Argon can no longer hide the truth. Everyone now knows.
“Argon and I love each other. He doesn’t love her, ” I said, pointing at Brielle, who stood aside, shedding tears.
Why is she acting like it’s her first time hearing this?
“I don’t believe this.”
“So the Alpha did this to his Luna for another woman? ”
They mumbled, slowly retreating to wherever they came from, still stunned by the truth.
I panted out while watching them dismiss their circle. My heart was beating with satisfaction after revealing everything to this people.
“Yes, they now know. Argon and I won’t have to put up with the secrets or pretend we’re just friends. The world needs to know about us, ” I panted, feeling good.
Brielle stood at a corner, looking at me. The tears she was shedding were gone. Instead, what I saw was a serious and terrifying gaze from her.
She just crossed her arms, staring at me.
“What is up with this freak? Wasn’t she the one crying not long ago? Why is she looking at me like that? ”
I was so uncomfortable with her gaze.
She’s… creepy.
Because of all the drama that unfolded, I lost the zeal to shop anymore. I decided to head back to the show and prepare.
I didn’t even bother to call Brielle to follow me. I mean… aside from the people around, who glared at me with disgust for revealing my relationship with Argon, Brielle’s aura were frightening me.
I walked ahead, taking multiple looks behind to see if she was coming.
She was.
She followed me from behind, slowly, step by step.
Her style of walking, her countenance… Everything creeped me out!
I didn’t even notice when I got into my car and drove off, leaving Brielle behind. She had given me a nasty glare when my car passed her.
When I looked at her face, she didn’t look like the dumb Brielle Argon and I knew. She looked completely different.
