ESTELLE
That same fateful day, I decided to get myself something new.
With the show coming up in four days and my rehearsal being tomorrow, I needed everyone in the modelling team, especially those ladies that think they can reach my level, to lay those big eyes of theirs on the latest Estelle in town.
“Let’s go shopping,” I requested from Argon, caressing his cheek while sitting on his lap in the living room.
He dropped his gaze on me with a smirk across his face, and asked, “Now?”
“Yes dear. I need to get my wardrobe changed for tomorrow’s rehearsal. You know my show is in four days, so I really need new dresses, ” I requested with my googly eyes, wrapping my arms around my sweet Alpha.
A chuckle escaped Argon’s lips when I whined my needs to him.
He knows he can’t say no to me.
“Okay, let’s head out and get you new dresses.”
“Yes! I love you, ” I cheered, kissing his cheek.
Argon suggested I wait for him to get changed so we can head out together.
Like an obedient mate, I agreed to do so, making sure I was set for the outing as well.
Argon left the living room, leaving me all alone, while I was coming up with an interesting plan for this shopping.
“You there,” I called that annoying maid that always support Brielle. She was cleaning the TV screen before turning around to answer me.
“Yes?” She uttered.
“Go and call that madam of yours. Let her know that her boss needs her service at once, ” I ordered, lifting my shoulders with pride.
The maid sighed secretly, thinking I didn’t see that stupid face she made.
“Yes… Luna.”
“Good. Be quick, ” I said, snapping my fingers at her.
She left the living room to get Brielle, while I waited for them.
It didn’t take too long for Argon to arrive back in the living room, looking all nice and presentable.
“Shall we? ” He asked, smiling at me with his arm arcing out for me.
I smirked at my darling Argon, saying, “Just a minute my love. This journey can’t start yet.”
“Why?” He asked lifting his brow at me.
Just then, Brielle came into the living room with her companion, standing before Argon and I.
“Yes, Luna?” She voiced, staring at both of us.
Argon had confusion written all over his face. I could tell he wants to question her presence, but I immediately chipped in.
“I can’t head out without my hand maid. She needs to carry all my shopping bags for me, ” I said.
The moment I said that, Argon’s eyes came large. He was surprised by my decision.
“What? ” I asked, glaring at him.
“Can we talk?” Argon said, taking my arms and moving to the corner with me.
I couldn’t understand why he was acting this way, until we where at the corner and he said, “Estelle, I know I said Brielle is going to be your maid for this show, but getting her to follow us… I don’t find this idea appealing. ”
“Come on, Argon. You can be funny sometimes. You are the one who made her my maid, and now that I want to assert my dominance by getting her to work for me while shopping, you feel it’s a bad idea? ”
I found Argon’s behavior amusing. Like… I just don’t understand him.
“Estelle, listen. I know I said that but…”
“No buts Argon. Just be calm and let’s head out, ” I interrupted, stepping out from the corner to begin my shopping.
Drawing closer to Brielle, who stood there looking at Argon and I, I snapped my finger at her and ordered, “Move it. You’re heading out with us for shopping.”
“Oh, okay. Let me change into…”
“Change? Who has time for that?” I scoffed out, cutting her halfway.
“You are my maid. That filthy rag on you is perfect. Now move it! ” I pointed to the door.
Brielle didn’t argue further. She just hummed and turned around, making her way for the door.
“At least let her change into something different. Do you want people talking?” Argon pointed out.
But I don’t care.
I want her to step into the open with that filth. It shows more about her place.
When I looked at my Argon with satisfaction all over me, I saw him gazing back with disapproval.
“I know why he’s acting like this. He thinks bringing Brielle along would make things hard for us, since people still recognize her as the Luna of Wolf crest. Well I don’t care. We are friends in the public’s eyes, but in secret, we’re lovers. When they see Brielle in her filthy attire, they will laugh at her, ” I planned, walking up to Argon and taking his hand in mine.
“Let’s go, ” I said, leading the way.
.
Soon, we were packing right outside a luxurious boutique. The most fanciest in Wolf Crest.
There were people outside the big store, tripping in and out from the building, before their attentions fell on our fancy vehicle.
Their eyes gawking in amusement on recognizing their Alpha’s car. I just couldn’t wait for this drama to unfold.
“Look at all those people. They must be eager to see us, ” I said, facing Argon with a smile.
But he didn’t look pleased. In fact, he was bothered.
I ignored his expression and settled it on the one sitting behind us. She was looking scared as well.
“Let’s go in, Argon. I can smell those beautiful dresses, ” I suggested, getting ready to dive out.
“Is this a good idea?” Brielle questioned, cutting my mood short.
“And why are you asking?” I dimmed my eyes with disgust, staring at her.
“Well… You know… I just don’t feel it’s okay for me to join you two in your shopping, especially in this wear. Won’t they raise questions at Alpha Argon?” Brielle asked, lifting her brow at me.
Just look at her. Is she trying to form the smart one here?
I wanted to shun her but Argon suddenly backed her up, agreeing with Brielle’s words!
I was mad to see him taking her side.
“She’s right. Maybe she can stay in the vehicle and we’ll…”
“No!” I refused, trying to calm my temper.
“Estelle.”
“You made her my maid! Why can’t she come along?”
“Estelle, listen…”
“And you…” I faced Brielle, pointing at her. “When your Masters are talking, stay shut. Is that clear?” I roared.
Silent, Brielle hummed, sitting back.
“Better. Argon…” I turned back to Argon’s point, signaling the door.
He sighed at my behavior and got out of the car, coming around to open the door for me.
“Foolish orphan. I control you, so let that stick into that thick head of yours, understood?!” I groaned, looking at Brielle’s face in the rear view mirror.
Again, she hummed at my order, remaining in her position.
That’s when the door came open and Argon helped me out.
“Alpha Argon!”
“It’s the Alpha!”
Everyone chanted at their Alpha.
“Look! It’s Luna…” The chanting of all the excited pack members, suddenly ceased when I stepped out fully.
I looked and noticed the dissatisfied look on their faces, as they all stared at me.
“That’s not Luna Brielle,” A child had said to her mother, looking at me.
“Oh, that’s Estelle, the model,” Someone pointed out.
“Yeah, that’s true. She’s Alpha Deron’s daughter.”
“Waw! She’s a super model.”
“She’ll be modelling live at Red wood park. I can’t miss it.”
Their first impression when they saw me instead of Brielle, brought nothing but anger to my face.
But I felt pleased when they began to recognize me as the super model who’s going to rock their world in four days time.
With style, I waved my hands at this on lookers, feeling so proud of myself.
But that moment was ruined when Brielle stepped out of the car in her filthy maid attire.
Everyone gasped at the sight of Brielle, gossiping amongst themselves.
“What is she wearing?”
“That’s so dirty!”
” Why is the Alpha’s Luna in such a messy dress?”
They all complained, staring at us.
I thought this was going to fill me with delight, but it back fired.
They were all glaring at Argon with anger, wanting to know why their Alpha would give Brielle such a dress.
“Why will he allow her to step out like that?”
“Not just that, she came out from the back seat! Why did this model step out from the front seat? Only the Luna is allowed to sit beside the Alpha.”
They were murmuring out loud.
This was beginning to leave me uncomfortable.
“Argon, they are talking ill about you. Can’t you order them to…” I paused when dropping my eyes on Argon.
His eyes read nothing but anger for me!
Why is he mad at me?
Is it because I refused to listen to him or Brielle?
Goodness, this isn’t how I planned this shopping to go. Everyone is speaking ill of my love and he’s mad at me.
“Oh, goddess. Do something,” I prayed, regretting my decision.
