ESTELLE
“From now on, she’ll serve you. Is my baby fine with that? ” Argon asked sweetly, caressing my cheek.
“Is that fine? It’s perfect, my love!” I cheered, hugging Argon closely.
“Thank you so much, darling. You’re the best, ” I appreciated, squeezing him tight.
“Anything for you my love. I want the best for my sweetheart,” He said, caressing my back down to my waist.
Still buried in his hold, I secretly took my gaze to Brielle and found her staring at us with pains in those eyes of hers.
She held the tray she had brought, closer to her chest. Her face filled with displeasure over Argon’s words.
She still couldn’t believe the order given to her.
I know she has been trying her best not to serve me. She only takes her work seriously when Argon is involved, so she can impress him with her fake hard work.
“But you don’t have to worry, Brielle. You did say you want to serve us till the three months is over. We’re still in the first month and I’m going to drain you to the point of quitting. You’ll sign those papers by all means and get out of our lives.”
I smirked, shutting my eyes close to feel my Argon.
Since this week was going to be all about me now, Argon decided to take good care of me. He threw a small party between the both of us in the dining room, celebrating my upcoming show.
“I must not miss this event. Finally they are hosting it near. Only the goddess knows how hurt I always feel whenever you leave for your show in a different city. It bruises me deeply, ” Argon confessed, holding me close.
I blushed, laying my head on his chest. I could understand my sweethearts pain.
He loves me so much and can’t do without me.
“I understand, my love. Just bear with me for now. When I’ve reached my target, I’ll make sure I resign and come stay with you. That way, you don’t have to feel lonely when I’m away, ” I promised, lifting myself to kiss Argon.
Our lips came locking, as we kissed passionately, expressing our deepest feelings for each other.
“Um… Luna,” A familiar voice called, interrupting the beautiful moment between Argon and I.
When we looked, we found Brielle holding two fitted gowns, raising them to our view.
She had her eyes lowered down to gaze away from our kiss, asking, “Which dress do you wish to put on for tomorrow’s outing?”
I smirked in mockery, watching how she struggled to keep her gaze off us.
Letting go of my darling Argon, I walked up to Brielle and grabbed her by the chin, lifting her head to my level.
She groaned under my hold, still trying her best not to look at me in the eyes.
Her fear and submission only bloomed my heart, showing my supremacy over her.
Turning her head forcefully to my point, I said, “When talking, you don’t look away. Am I on the floor?”
“No… No, Luna. You’re not,” she stammered.
“Then look straight at me while talking, you fool, ” I groaned, pushing her back.
She staggered back but quickly got her stance, lifting the dresses again, and looking at me the way I wanted.
“Which dress? ” She asked, lifting them higher.
Without looking at the two outfits, I said, “None of these filth will do. Can’t you see they are bad?! How do you expect me to wear any of that with all those stains?”
“Stains? I don’t understand,” Brielle voiced in confusion, looking at the dresses.
When she turned both dresses to her point, I grabbed both mine and Argon’s wine from the table, and tossed it right at Brielle’s face.
She gasped in shock, trying to get her eyes opened.
When I did this, Argon came out laughing. I was proud of myself.
I dropped the empty glasses back, smirking at a stunned Brielle.
“Can you see the stains now? It’s not only on the dresses, but all over you. You are the reason these beauties are ruined! ” I accused, so it would look like Brielle is at fault.
She held both dresses in one hand and wiped her face with her palm, dropping her gaze on me.
To show my dominance, I ordered, “Throw that rubbish or give it to the helpers. As a model of high class and fashion sense, I will not be needing those garbage any more. Is that clear?”
My lips came curling into a smirk, darting straight at Brielle.
She just stared back, panting out from the wine that ran down her face.
The way she stared took my mind back to that night in the room, when she dared to hold my hand and speak rudely to me.
“I asked you, is that clear? ” I repeated, getting annoyed by her silence.
“Yes… Luna,” She responded, using the deep tone from that night.
That sparked my anger.
“Is that your next move? You want to insult me?” I mocked, stepping closer to her.
“Do you want to be rude at your Luna like that very night and then faint like a weakling? Tell us, sweet Brielle,” I teased, taking her hair in my hold.
“No,” She answered, still staring at me.
I hated the way she gazed back.
The audacity!
Out of anger, I slammed my hand across her face, sending her against the wall.
“Estelle!” Argon called, taking hold of my arm, and pulling me back.
“What the hell? Why did you hit her?”
“Didn’t you see the way she was staring at me? Has she forgotten who she’s standing before?” I groaned, attempting to get closer to her.
“Estelle! That’s enough!” Argon raised, stopping me from nearing Brielle.
My eyes where still on her. She stood properly, cupping the area I had slapped, before dropping her eyes on me again.
Instead of meeting tears streaming out, I met her eyes dried like the desert. She glared back like a freak!
“Get out of here!” I ordered, pointing at the door.
Brielle didn’t respond at first, but soon answered. She left the dining room with the two dresses, leaving Argon and I alone.
Once she was gone, Argon turned me over to have a word.
“What was that?”
“Didn’t you see the way she was staring at me? She was glaring!” I pointed.
But Argon felt I overreacted.
“Look, I know you don’t like Brielle and sometimes wish to torment her. But can you control your anger? ” He cupped my face.
I wanted to be calm, but with that woman around, I just can’t.
“I want her out of our lives for good. I won’t be at peace until she’s gone.”
“I know. Just calm down, ” Argon comforted, pulling me into his hold.
“Very soon, she’ll be out of our lives. I promise you, ” He assured me, petting me on the head.
I sighed out, wrapping my arms around him. But that anger was still within, perambulating with hunger.
And it will only die down when Brielle is gone.
I’m going to make her sign those papers. She must sign them before the three months!
