Kayden looked confused but then turned to the saleswoman with a calm expression. “Of course, I’m just looking inside the car.”
The saleswoman, somewhat choked up, said seriously, “Sir, are you sure you want to buy this car? If not, it’s better not to touch it. If you scratch it, we won’t be able to cover the damage.”
It was clear she thought Kayden was out of his mind and just pretended to be wealthy while wearing clothes that cost less than two hundred dollars. Now he was actually looking at a car worth three million dollars.
“Kayden!” Georgia quickly said, “Don’t do that! It’s too expensive.”
Three million dollars… Georgia didn’t even have thirty thousand dollars.
Kayden glanced at Georgia, and then looked back at the saleswoman. “So what you’re saying is, only those who are buying the car can see inside, and if we’re not buying, we’re not allowed to look, right?”
“That’s the idea!” The saleswoman didn’t speak. It was another woman who did. She was tall and attractive, looking like a model. A name tag on her chest read “Sales Manager.”
As she approached with a cold demeanor, it was obvious that she had achieved her position through her appearance. There was no doubt she had used her looks to climb the ranks.
“Sir, I’m not saying this to be rude, but I’ve seen too many people like you. I know you want to impress your girlfriend, but this isn’t the right way. Sometimes, being down-to-earth is better. If you scratch this car, even selling your motorcycle wouldn’t cover it. This isn’t a few thousand dollars but much more.”
The entire time, the saleswoman spoke with a smile-a smile that conveys disdain. Her words were polite, but her underlying message was that Kayden was just a pretender.
Kayden stared at the sales manager and then slapped the car door hard.
“Bang!” The sharp sound echoed through the entire dealership.
It was as if the slap had landed on the sales manager herself. Her eyes widened, and she shouted, “What are you doing?”
“Kayden!” Georgia quickly grabbed Kayden’s arm, apologizing profusely to the sales manager. “Sorry, Miss, we’re leaving right now! We’re leaving!”
“Georgia!” Kayden raised his voice, asking, “Do you like this car?”
“Ah!” Georgia blinked, not quite understanding Kayden’s question.
“If you like it, I’ll buy it for you right now!” Kayden said, enunciating each word.
“Kayden, you’re crazy!” Georgia anxiously pulled on Kayden’s arm.
“But there’s something I need to remind you of!” Kayden looked at Georgia earnestly. “My wife doesn’t need to grovel to arrogant salespeople. They’re not worthy!”
The sales manager’s face turned sullen, and she was about to reprimand Kayden, but he immediately pulled out a credit card and handed it to her, saying, “Charge it! Full payment! The password is six zeros. I’m taking this car now.”
The sales manager was speechless, her words swallowed. She stared at the card in Kayden’s hand, frowning. She had dealt with high society clients daily, but she had never seen a card like this. The highest she’d encountered was a gold card.
The sales manager took the card and asked, “Are you sure there’s three million dollars on this card?”
Kayden didn’t answer but just opened the car door and sat inside. The sales manager, unsure, walked hesitantly to the counter, as she wasn’t familiar with the value of such cards.
Georgia rushed to the car door and said, “Kayden, are you out of your mind? Where did you get three million dollars?”
Seeing Georgia’s panicked expression, Kayden said, “Actually, I think you need a car. This one may not be perfect, but it’s a start. I’ll get a better one for you later.”
The saleswoman who had earlier criticized them was left speechless. Kayden’s words were just too extravagant.
The sales manager reached the counter, where the cashier had more knowledge of bank cards than the manager herself.
The sales manager handed the card to the cashier and said, “Check if this card has three million dollars. If it doesn’t, I’ll make him pay.”
When the cashier took the card, she almost dropped it, her face turning pale. After a moment, she stammered, “This… this is an Ultimate Black Card!”
The sales manager was confused and asked, “What’s an Ultimate Black Card? I’ve only heard of Diamond Gold Cards, never an Ultimate Black Card!”
The cashier, trembling, said, “A Diamond Gold Card is for clients with at least 100 million dollars in deposits, but an Ultimate Black Card is for those with at least 10 billion dollars. As far as I know, there are fewer than ten people in the entire country with an Ultimate Black Card!”
The sales manager was stunned. “That’s impossible! How could someone with such a card look so poor? His clothes don’t even cost two hundred dollars.”
“Don’t judge a book by its cover. I’ll swipe it,” said the cashier, starting to process the card.
“Beep!” The three million dollars was charged.
“It’s real! The money has been charged,” the cashier said as she returned the card to the sales manager.
The sales manager’s face turned ashen. She hurried over to Kayden, her face a mask of obsequiousness. “Sir, I’m terribly sorry. I didn’t recognize your status. I apologize, truly. I…”
Kayden took the card from the sales manager’s hand and asked directly, “So, the car is mine now?”
The sales manager, bowing, said, “Yes, yes, it’s yours now. Sir, with your status, you don’t even need to come to the store in person. You could have…”
“Shut up!” Kayden interrupted, raising his hand. “I don’t want to see you anymore. Leave!”
The sales manager nodded quickly, “Yes, yes!”
“Let’s go, dear!” Kayden said, pulling Georgia to the driver’s seat while he took the passenger seat.
The sales manager knew she was in big trouble. If she didn’t find a solution quickly, her career would be over. With a client holding at least ten billion dollars, no one dared to cross him, not even their boss!
