Waiting.

Simon POV.
It’s been a whole week since the vampire Lord gave Sophia his order, she’s different ever since, she’s scared, and I haven’t touched her in any sexual way again. I hold her all the time, I keep assuring her that she’s fine, but she’s scared of him, she’s terrified of him.
“Come on Sophie, they are vampires, they have a long, long, really long life, they won’t go around ordering people to do stuff, he might not ask you to do anything for years,” AJ, the traitor for once he said something good and for once I agreed with him, he’s right her fear isn’t rational.
“I still don’t like you, and I don’t trust you, but he’s right,” I say pointing to AJ making Lucas laugh.
“You’re one step closer to loving him,” Lucas comments and I rolled my eyes at him, sure, in a million years or so.
“In a million years,” I assure him.
“He’s a monster,” Sophia comments again, it’s the same thing she says every time we open this subject.
“We all agree on that Saint, but we have to work with that, we can’t just stand back and wait for him to come and take over our lives,” I say reminding her that we’re not some weak kids, she might be feeling like it, but we’re not, we’re much stronger than she knows she is.
“We can’t fight him back,” she says again and I looked at her with a glare, she should know better than that by now.
“Lucas, what happened to the gun I asked you for?” I ask Lucas, maybe a gun would be the thing to help her feel better, safer.
“Oh it’s here,” Lucas answers me.
“And why didn’t you tell me about it?” I ask him with a growl, now he’s hiding things from me!
“You never asked,” Lucas says with a shrug and I was ready to beat his ass and show Saint that I can keep her safe.
“Go get it, I’m asking now,” I say with a growl, and he moved out of the living room to go and get me my gun, when he got back my eyes opened wide with shock, while Sophia’s mouth fell open.
“A pink gun?” I ask him, he really did that? A pink gun, where the hell did he find one? Online no wonder.
“And it got glitter!” Sophia screams, going to take her gun out of Lucas’s hand, happiness shown on her face, so that all it took to get her out of her depression phase? A pink gun, girls are weird.
“Happy, Saint?” I ask her and she nods.
“I’m not Saint, oh, I’m a Sinner,” she says with a smile on her face, and I knew we had her back, for now at least, the gun was the big push for her ego, and her mental health.
“Good, glad to have you back, now instead of waiting for Elijah to tell us what he wants from us, we can go after him,” I say with an evil smile on my face.
“I’m ready to go!” Lil-Sinner says holding her gun up.
“Put it down before you hurt someone and then I’ll hurt you,” I warn her, she puts it down right away.
“Hey, where’s the fun in having a gun if I can’t shoot anyone,” she says pointing the gun around the room, I walked toward her, and snatched it out of her hand before she could shoot me or Lucas by mistake, she can shoot AJ if she wants.
“Simon,” she whined, but I wasn’t playing nice anymore, I might have been going easy on her since she was going through a hard time, but I’m still the boss around here, I slapped her ass hard making her whine.
“Aouch,” she whines again.
“Can I join slapping her?” Lucas asks and we both turned to him with a glare.
“No, you can’t, my bum is reserved for the boss only,” she says sticking her tongue out at him, I laughed and pulled her toward me.
“She’s definitely mine,” I say assuring her and the rest.
“Okay, now that we agree on that, where are we going now?” Lucas asks looking at me, I should have a plan and not just decide to go after Elijah.
“We’re going out, we’re going on the street, we need to gather information on Elijah, find his weak spot, we need to find what he’s after, why he needs and wants Sophia’s to do some kind of job for him,” I say, I knew it’s more than just wanting to get a hand in our job.
“I can talk to Logan,” Saint says.
“Who’s Logan Saint? Huh?” I ask her angrily.
“He’s my brother,” she answers me, avoiding my eyes.
“Oh, okay,” I say, I was too aggressive, I shouldn’t have said it like that.
“Come on Sophia, you’re a badass vampire, show him who’s the boss,” AJ says and I glared at him, the traitor.
“Can I have my gun back?” she asked me, and I shook my head no.
“Unless if you want to shoot AJ,” I say with a sigh.
“We’ll call Logan, I also have some connection back at the Lord’s house, I’m sure I can find something out,” AJ says.
“You’re not calling anyone without Lucas,” I say, I don’t trust him that much.
“Fine, come on Lucas, we’ll do my calls and you two can call Logan,” AJ suggests and I agreed to that, they can do that, and I’ll be there listening to the conversation with Logan, whoever that is.
