Simon POV.
“Hey,” I heard my wife say through the phone, we have called this Logan guy, she called him her brother and when I asked for more information she said that he’s Elijah’s other son, he was suffering through the training with her and they got close to each other, but I wasn’t sure how much I liked this relation they share.
“Hi, Sophie, how are you doing?” the guy on the other side says, but he sounded tired, and in pain, I had no idea who he was, but he sure was miserable.
“I’m fine, what’s wrong?” she asks him sounding worried, I didn’t like the fact that she was concerned about him.
“Not much, life has been hard, how’s your job?” Logan answers her.
“What colour is it?” Sophia asks and I turned to her with wide eyes, what is she talking about?
“White, go ahead,” he answer her and I lifted a brow at her.
“It’s a code name,” she whispers to me and then gets back to the phone.
“Elijah came over, he said that he wants something from me, any idea what it is?” she asks him.
“Elijah is going insane, he’s not telling us much, but he’s really going through some things, he sent me over on some crazy mission,” Logan says.
“I need you to keep an eye on him, give me a ring when you find something up,” she asks him, ready to end the call.
“You got it,” he says still sounding sad.
“If you need help, just call me, I’ll do my best to help you,” Sophia says, looking at me with pleading eyes, I simply nodded, I’ll do anything that she wants.
“Thank you, sis, we’ll talk later, I got a code green here,” he says ending the call from his side.
“What’s code green?” I ask her, what’s up with the colour coding?
“An injury, I got the easy job coming over here, I’m pretty sure that Elijah is putting him through hell,” Saint says sounding very low.
“Elijah is one of the real monsters, right?” I ask her.
“He’s the worse, whatever he got ready for us, it won’t be something we’re gonna like,” Saint answers me.
“We’re stronger than you know,” I assure her, he might be the vampire but we’re not ones to be messed with.
“Who are you calling?” she asks me seeing that it’s my turn to do a phone call and I got some people that could help us out with Elijah.
“Thomas,” I answer her with a smile on my face, she doesn’t know who he is, or how important of a man/vampire he is.
“And who’s that?” she asks when I didn’t explain who he is right away, “Can I shoot him?” she adds, pointing to her pink glittery gun.
“You can try, but Thomas would skin you alive, did they do that to you before?” he asks me, and I knew that it was a very big possibility.
“Thomas, who’s that?” she asks me again, avoiding my question.
“He’s one of the vampire lords, he’s even older than Elijah, he’s one to help us,” I assure her, calling the number, and waiting for him to answer.
“I don’t like the vampire lords,” she says, shaking her head, she had every right to hate them, but it’s too late to go back now, we need to find out more about Elijah’s future plans.
“Simon Black,” the voice on the phone answers, even over the phone it’s filled with so much power and dominance, we both knew the man behdind this screen was one in charge.
“Thomas. Lord Thomas,” I say showing him the respect he deserves back.
“Yes, my favourite human, tell me, what do you need Simon?” he asks and I could hear the smile in his voice, being someone who entertains a vampire, although it makes me feel cheap, it got it’s advantage.
“Your vampire, Elijah, he got something up, I wanted to take your opinion and your blessing first,” I ask him, wanting to see if he got something he knew about Elijah.
“Yes, my son’s war, what can I say, we get bored,” Thomas says and I share a look with Sophia, a war, so that’s the thing he’s getting us into.
“A war, yes, but who’s side are you on?” I ask him.
“I can’t take sides, Simon, they are both my kids,” Thomas says, meaning that’s the war is going to happen between Elijah and some other vampire Lord.
“You think we should get into this? Get in the middle?” I ask him, wanting a way out, if we can get under his protection we’ll be out of this stupid war.
“I don’t get in the middle of my kids playing,” Thomas says.
“But you know about us humans, we can’t really do the rough playing they do?” I say, wanting a way out.
“I’ll wish for you to survive, if you’re not dead by the end of the war, call me,” Thomas says ending the call and I growled, we’re getting thrown into a war we had nothing to do with! And we might not even survive it, who am I lying to? We won’t survive that war, we need a way out of it, or we need to go through this head first and hope for the best.
“What are we going to do now? A war?” Sophia asks sounding scared yet again.
“Now, you get your pink gun ready, we got a war to get through,” I say with a sigh, she looked scared, then her face changed, a smile found it’s way to her face and she shared it with me.
“I don’t think this gun is enough, I need more,” she says and I laughed, whoever got Lucas this pink gun can make us a pink machine gun.
“I’ll call Harley Quinn dealer,” I say with a shrug, making her laugh out loud, now that we know what’s comign our way, we’re ready to take over it.
