Elijah.

Simon POV.
“Excuse us,” Lucas says holding me with both hands, dragging me out, I had no idea where we are going but I was furious, she was right here in front of me and I can kill her, both of them are here, I can have both of their souls right now.
“Let me go, Lucas, let me go,” I repeat screaming this time getting crazy looks from the restaurant worker.
“He’s just crazy about your lobster special,” Lucas says to one of the workers as he kept on dragging me toward the bathroom, once inside he locked the door behind us and turned to me with angry eyes.
“What do you think you’re doing!” Lucas scolds.
“They are here, right in front of me, I should kill them both,” I tell Lucas, what else does he expect me to do?
“He just introduced her as Elijah’s daughter! Be angry all you want, but you can’t kill a vampire’s daughter!” Lucas says.
“She’s not his daughter,” I growl, she can’t be some vampire daughter.
“She claims to be so, and we can’t kill her, call Thomas,” Lucas says, suggesting calling the big boss to sort this out.
I got my phone and called Thomas, I was supposed to be doing business with Elijah, not her, never her. He took his sweet time answering his phone, he didn’t answer right away, busy as always, probably sucking someone’s blood or ruining their life, either one.
“Hello,” Thomas says on the phone sounding entertained, he knew about this, he must have known about this.
“Thomas, your highness, I’m meant to have business with Elijah, why was the cupcake sent my way?” I ask him calling her by her old stage name.
“Yes, and Elijah thought it would be best to send his daughter,” Thomas says.
“She can’t be his daughter,” I growled through the phone.
“Simon, I like you, don’t make me change my mind. Do the business with the daughter, make sure my son is happy, and we’ll see about the girl later,” Thomas says and I growl, there goes my last hope of not having to do business with her. I ended the call, Thomas doesn’t care about saying goodbyes, he never did, when the conversation is over, we just end the call and most days he’s happy about not having to talk to me any longer.
“He said to do the business,” I tell Lucas not that he didn’t know what he’ll tell us to do.
“Then let’s go do the business, come on, suck it buttercup,” Lucas says and I groan, I washed my face trying my best to calm down before I walked out of the bathroom to meet with my wife, I haven’t divorced her, she’s still mine.
“Sophia,” I say taking my seat on the table, this time I looked at her, I actually looked at her and not just at her eyes, the brown eyes that had me captured, this time that I paid attention I saw that her hair is shorter, much shorter than it used to be, her eyes had a shine to them, tears. What is she crying about? She probably hoped that she’ll do some business with someone else, but I don’t care, this is just a job for me.
“I promised not to hurt you, but you,” I say turning to AJ, he’s a cheater who’s a free game.
“Hey! Hey! Don’t even think about it, I belong to Lord Elijah, he’s the one who sent me over, and you know the money I took wasn’t even worth it,” AJ says and I glare at him, it’s not the money, it’s the betrayal.
“You betrayed us,” Lucas says.
“It’s business brother, you know that I had to do what my boss told me to do,” AJ says.
“Now, let’s get back to work,” I say ending the chat, we’ll get back to this later.
“We’re here to discuss the position lord Elijah would be taking in this job, he sent us over as his representative,” Sophia, the traitorous saint starts.
“Yes, and what are your lord’s demands?” I say deciding to play along with her, maybe make her feel stupid and sorry for ever getting back into my life.
“Our lord is demanding to be involved in every job you’re doing, he wants a hand in everything you guys are working on,” AJ says, and I saw Sophia’s eyes go wild, she looked like she had no idea why she’s here, I loved it.
“And you Sophia, what do you want?” I ask her, looking her straight in the eyes.
“I want what my lord wants,” she whispers making it hard to catch her words.
“Your lord, isn’t he your father? You claimed to be his daughter,” I say.
“I’m his daughter, he’s my sir,” Sophia explains.
“Yes, that’s what you’re claiming, but how come I never heard about him before, you were on the run while you had a father all along,” I say looking at her, why was she running then?
“Family problems?” she asks not sure of her answer.
“And does daddy dearest knows I’m still your husband?” I ask her, not caring about the business anymore.
“Let’s get back to the job on hand,” Saint says and I just smiled right, the job on hand, her.
“Yes, let’s do that Saint, and what does he think of our situation?” I ask her.
“He doesn’t know,” she confess.
“Sophia, shut up, stop it,” AJ scolds her.
“Why stopping her,” Lucas asks.
“We’re not allowed to talk about that, we’re here to talk about the business you’re going to conduct with our lord,” AJ says.
“Yes, that job, your boss wants to be involved with everything, let him have it. I want Sophia to move back in with me, I’ll take her to every meeting we’re going through,” I say with a smile looking at her, she’s coming back with me and I’m going to show her what it means to cheat on me.
“Lord would never agree to that,” AJ says.
“Tell him that either he sends Sophia over to our place, or he make himself known and come over,” I say giving them my conditions, this might be a vampire game but we’re going under my rules.
