William POV.
“You got work, you’re gonna leave us behind,” Evelyn says looking at me with broken heart eyes, I couldn’t say no to her, and I couldn’t not go to work, I haven’t been there for more than a week now, and I couldn’t keep on skipping days.
“I’m not leaving you behind Eve, I’m just going to my work, and I’ll be back in the evening, how about you go back to your teaching job? And we’ll regroup here?” I ask her, if she stays in here, she’ll go crazy if she stays home and waits for me, she’ll think that I have dropped her yet again.
“I can go back to school,” she says thinking about it, she flips on the bed thinking of the idea, she would love to get back and teach, but she’s been scolding me like one of her students, and she explained to the cleaning crew in details about how to clean the little one toys and her pacifiers.
“Yes, you could and you should really,” I say again, trying to push her to do it, she should get back to work.
“But what about my baby?” she asks me and I roll my eyes at her, I’m finally having a breakthrough with Katie, she called me daddy a couple of times without forcing her to say it, she hates me a little bit less now. Dylan told me about how she doesn’t like me much, but she would do anything for Evelyn’s happiness, and although she decided to give me a chance, I didn’t want to blow it yet.
“You mean our baby?” I remind her, that she’s mine too, we’re sharing Katie.
“Yes, our baby, where is she going?” she asks me sounding firm, she could go back to the school, she’s going to graduate from school next season, and we have graduation going every season.
“She can come to work with me,” I suggest, it’s a chance to get her to bond with me some more I hope.
“Work with you? What if you’re going to say something bad, or what if you say some bad words in front of her?” she asks me with wide eyes.
“Evelyn, don’t yell, you’re gonna wake her up,” I say, she’s in the other room sleeping, she doesn’t like sleeping with me, but she love to sleep in her mommy’s bed.
“I’m not yelling,” she pouts.
“Yes, you are yelling, don’t wake the girl up, how about I take her and if she’s not too happy about it, the day after it, you can take her to your work, or she can stay here with a babysitter,” I say, we had options, and I’m very stupid for waiting this long to get a little, I should have never let Evelyn go.
“Fine,” she says not too happy about it, but I had my way of making her a lot happier, especially since the littlest one was sleeping still, I flipped her around and got on top of her, caging her between my arms, kissing her lips passionately.
“What are you doing William?” she asked me as we broke off our kiss for a second.
“I’m kissing my mate, can’t I kiss my mate? And do much more to my mate?” I ask my kisses going down to her stomach, and then further down, I wasn’t going to let her go.
“William,” she screams my name, I love when she scream my name, but we’re not alone anymore, she can’t be too loud anymore, I had to shush her, even if I didn’t want to.
“Shush,” I say putting a hand on her mouth, keeping her quiet.
“Why,” there was a muffled why coming from her.
“Because Katie is sleeping, and we don’t need to wake her up yet, maybe when we’re both done,” I suggest with a wink, making sure to keep her quiet the whole time, until I was done with her, only then I let her go and let her scream all she wants, but I managed to knock her right out, she fell asleep.
The next morning, I was up first, I woke Evelyn first telling her it’s time to get up, it’s time to get ready for work, she’s a teacher and she needs to be up for school and be there on time, after I managed to get her to wake up and hearing all the whining about how sore I made her last night, I went to the litilest bedroom, waking her up next.
“Good morning Katie,” I say shaking her awake, she had no idea what’s going to happen today, she’s not aware that we’re going to be back at work today, all three of us.
“It’s early, where we going?” Katie asks right away, she wasn’t happy about waking up.
“We’re going to work, all three of us, now up you go,” I say as she kept on whining, I changed and dressed her ignoring the whining, I placed her on my shoulder, giving her one of her pacifiers, she likes to use those, and I love watching her.
“What wowk?” she asks me after a bit we have managed to make it downstairs, and I served the older little her breakfast, letting the little one hand in my arms as I got my own coffee.
“You’re coming with me to work today,” I say with a big smile.
“With you?” she asks eying my coffee mug.
“It’s hot, and yes with me, don’t you wanna spend time with me,” I ask her feeling kind of worried that she doesn’t want to spend time with me.
“I go,” she says and her eyes stayed on the coffee, she made some grabby hands toward the mug.
“No, this is mine,” I warn her, but she still wants it, I kept it away, and offered her some breakfast instead.
“Nu-uh, me drink coffee,” she says her eyes glued to the mug, knowing it’s the only way to actualy get her to leave my mug in peace, I blew a couple times on the mug before bringing it closer to her mouth letting her take a couple sips from the coffee.
She was happy about drinking my drink, but then the bitter taste hit her mouth, she was quick to do disgusted faces, sticking her tongue out trying to get rid of the bitter taste, I didn’t laugh at her although I wanted to, I offered her some of Evelyn’s juice, she took some happily drinking it quickly to change the bitter taste.
“Ready to go to work?” I ask both girls.
“I’m ready, but she didn’t have any food,” Evelyn says pointing to the grumpy one.
“I’ll feed her when we get there,” I assure Evelyn, I know how to take care of a little one, I got the little one in my car and made sure that one of the drivers are going to drive the other one to school.
“What’s your work like?” Katie asks me.
“It’s a lot of paper work, you get to see other littles and doms that work for me, it’s just work, and you get to see your friend Angel as well,” I say remembering that they were friends.
“Oh! Yay!” she says happily.
“Do you want to eat on the way? I can stop by and get you anything you want,” I offer her, I would get her anything to make our first day at work be the best day ever.
“Okay,” she agrees not telling me what she actually want to eat, I kept on driving, stopping by a fast food restaurant, I got her the little breakfast meal and hand it over to her, I gave it to her and made sure she was ready before driving again.
I’m working for now in the D&L company, I don’t always work in one place or one point, I tend to move in places.
“This is the D&L company, it’s where most of things started,” I say with a smile on my face.
“Waw,” she says back, I parked the car and got her out of the car, trying my best to clean her face with a wet napkin.
“Come on, let’s go in, we can find Angel,” I offer her, hoping that the friend promise is enough to keep her happy for now.
My office is on the highest floor, I’m the boss of their bosses and so I got the higher floor, it’s a matter of feeling, of being the one in charge, I got inside my office and led her in, I didn’t have any place to leave her in, but she could play in my office near me.
“Wow! We’re so high up,” she says looking through the window.
“Yeah, we are,” I agree with her as I started to go through the pile of paperwork that’s waiting for me, I started to work, not paying the little one much attention, she was glued to the window, it’s bullet proof, it won’t open or break, she was safe looking through the window as I finish my work.
Katie was busy with the window for at least an hour, enough time for me to do most of the paperwork, next I had to go to a meeting, and the window wasn’t going to me enough to keep her entertained, I called for Angel, she’s mostly big in school, but all littles slip a time or two while at work, they can’t help it and just stay big all the time, they need to shift sometimes and feel little, being little is their real nature, and she can have a day off today, she got the boss’s boss approval.
“Hello, you asked for me?” Angel says walking into my office, she stood tall and proud, wearing her best clothes, she looked like a big badass vampire, but I knew she’s also a little one, she’s just like Katie, she only control her older self a lot more than the little katie does.
“Yes, you got someone who wants to say hello to you,” I say with a smile.
Angel looked around, she knew I’m not the one who’s here to say hello, we see each other all the time, well most of the time when I’m working with the school, and the little department, she’s just as strong as her daddy now, she and Logan share the head of department title now, she mostly works wiht the school.
“Angieeeee!” Katie yells and run to hug her, Angel hugged her back, I could see her face shifting, from the professional Angel who’s in charge of the school to a little girl who just saw her friend after a long time.
“Hey, Kitkat, how are you?” she asks her friend, if she takes off the small heels she’s wearing, they’d be similar height.
“I’m okay, I think I’m with Daddy William now,” Katie says blushing, I loved being called daddy by her, and I loved the fact that she’s with me and approving of it.
“Uhhh… can I not work?” Angel asks, I knew when she sees Kitkat, I’m not going to have her workding for the rest of the day.
“Of course, you two can stay in here, I have a quick meeting to attend, and I’m sure you two can entertain each other,” I say with a knowing smile.
I did order them some toys from the little department, I also got them snacks, and some papers and crayons to play with, I move the table out of the way and gave them most of the space in the office before going toward my meeting.
It was supposed to be a small meeting, but like everything in my life, nothing goes to plan, I be like a short meeting and it’ll go for much longer, it’ll go for an hour or two, I was the boss and I wanted to end the meeting a lot earlier, but they kept on going and going, not shutting up.
I finally managed to run out of the meeting and ran back ti my office to check on my little girl and her friend, I opened the door with a smile on my face, happy to be back, but then I was shocked. My walls, my once white walls had sharpies marks all over them, I only gave them crayons, but they got the sharpies from my desk.
“Girls what happened?” I ask them and they both tried to act innocent, but their faces screamed guilty.
“Nu know, big kids did it,” Angel says.
“Angie, don’t lie to me,” I warn her.
“Nu know,” she says looking down to her feet, I couldn’t see the offending pens, but I knew they used them, the marks didn’t come from crayons.
“I’m calling logan, and you’re staying where I can watch you,” I warn the two girls, deciding to move into another office until my place is cleaned, I couldn’t punish them, I’m the one who left them behind alone, and I call myself the bosses boss.
