The Confrontation With Logan

Adriel’s Point of View:
I was surprised when Philious said that Annabella looked familiar, and I knew if I didn’t interfere, he might become interested in her background.
I wasn’t worried about her or anything, but nonetheless, I didn’t want unnecessary attention to be placed on her, because I was still interested in knowing her connection with my late lover.
“Philious, everyone looks familiar to you. She is a popular figure, I am sure you saw her on the television set. It’s nothing serious, don’t pay her any attention.
Well, except you are interested in dating her.” I purposefully mentioned the dating aspect because I knew it would rile Philious up, and indeed it did.
“Hell no! Not you too, Adriel. I am not interested in her, she is definitely not my type, and you are right, I’m sure I saw her picture on the internet or something,” Philious quickly explained, not wanting to be given an imaginary girlfriend.
“Well, if you tell me your type, I will try and find a cute lover for you.” Vagon chipped in noisily, and before an argument could break out between the two of them, I left their midst, walking towards Logan.
I swear I had a bad feeling about it, but I pushed my feelings aside, and put on a casual face.
My friends cheered me up with their smiles…. Actually, I mean Vagon cheered me up with his broad smile, while Michael and Philious had an expressionless look on their faces.
“Adriel?” Logan looked surprised to see me, and he looked at me with caution in his eyes. I flashed him a small smile.
“Hey, Logan.” I smiled at him, and he smiled back at me with the same surprised look. I am sure my mother would have lost her sanity if she found out that her first born child was associating himself with her husband’s mistress son.
“What do you want?” Logan asked me, and the look of surprise on his face was replaced with a suspicious one.
“I was surprised at first when I heard that you’ve returned from your trip. I didn’t believe it, until I saw you. I guess your mother put you up to this show.” I said with a menacing smile on my face, but Logan didn’t display any emotions, he simply scoffed at me.
“And I am guessing your friends forced you to talk to me.” Logan looked at where the guys were standing, and they looked back at him. “You know, you don’t have to act like we are brothers or anything, because your mother might go berserk if she finds out. Not that I mind though,” he quickly added, and chuckled softly.
“Your mother is full of surprises, but you are full of shocks.” I said with a hoarse voice, and my eyes turned black as I looked at him. I don’t know if I felt angry or happy, but I know I wanted to drain him for talking bad about my mother.
“I guess you are shocked to see that my mother and I have gotten stronger. But don’t be too shocked, because the greatest surprise is yet to come.” Logan informed me, grinning mischievously.
I was taken aback by his words, and I couldn’t help but wonder what he and his mother were up to again.
“Then be careful, because who knows, your surprise might end up shocking you more than you bargain.” I said with a threatening voice, and Logan burst into evil laughter. At this junction, my friends were staring at us, murmuring quietly to themselves.
“Umm, I had a deep conversation with our father, and he told me that Liam is gay. Wow, I was surprised, but I also expected something like that. I mean your mother barely has time to look after her children, all she cares about is being in charge of everyone.” Logan said with a grimace on his face.
“It must be so hard for you, your little brother is gay, and your sisters might end up becoming lesbians. Gross, that’s so disgusting,” he continued and rolled his eyes at me.
I was shocked to hear his words. Not only did I warn my family to stop bullying Liam, I didn’t expect my father to tell Logan about my younger brother’s sexuality.
“It’s fine if you are homophobic, but don’t insult my brother in my presence, except you are ready to get missing like your clingy friend.” I said with a threatening voice, and Logan clenched his fists.
He wanted to say something back, but before he could talk, I held his shoulders firmly.
“You are nothing in front of me, little brother. And the fact that I am keeping you alive doesn’t mean you should go about running your mouth like a broken tape. Be a good kitten and return back to where you came from, because you don’t belong in my family.
Also, take this little conversation as a warning. If you play with fire, you might get burnt, but if you play with me, I will make sure you disappear completely from the face of this earth, and no one will remember your existence.” I warned him with a menacing voice, and flashed him my most malicious smile.
Logan looked frightened, but he put on a brave face.
“I have been burnt many times, I don’t mind getting burnt again,” he replied with a grimace on his face, and I nodded my head hysterically.
“Watch your back and front then, you will never know what hit you till you are on the floor!” I roughly patted his cheeks, pecked his forehead and left, smiling maliciously.
As I was leaving, I saw the look of horror on Rose’s face, and she quickly ran to his side. Lily stood by a corner looking at Logan, she looked sad, and I quietly prayed that she doesn’t betray me.
When I returned to my friends, they looked surprised and curious, and I knew I had a lot of explaining to do.
“Father told Logan that Liam is gay, and apparently, Logan is homophobic.” I explained in one sentence, and they didn’t look surprised.
“I kind of used my ability to eavesdrop on your conversation. Forgive me, I got worried when I saw your eyes darkening.” Philious looked worried as he confessed to me. He was staring at my once darkened eyeballs.
