Nemesis!
Was there a deeper price to pay?
If there was anything that she needed to do at that moment it was to get rid of the feelings that were in her soul, how best could she do that than taking a walk.
By now she was now walking along the streets to the mall, she dropped the car so she could have enough time to reflect , still it was the little devil in her soul asking that she go ahead with the plan regardless of what she thought she felt.
After the initial shock of him calling Laura’s name she had thought it was best she did something about the entire issue, the last thing she wanted would be him getting back his memory.
Moreover the mall was just a stone’s throw.
Antonia made her way through the mall arguing within herself, it had been three hours since she had left and she had one more stop to make and that was at the mall , she thought the entire situation through again, was she really doing the right thing.
In her soul she felt like this guilt almost as though her mind would give way any seconds, still she couldn’t let feeling steer her mind more than it already had, she needed guts if she wanted to do this.
Trying all she could to settle that rage in her chest, she thought it was best she just let herself handle the situation at hand, she drawled as she halted at the pharmacy section.
“, Need these…”She pushed the paper toward the lady.
“Sorry I can’t give this to you.”
It came as surprising to her as she had come there recommended, the lady nudged and Tonia understood what she meant. It took minutes but soon she was at the back of the mall.
The lady walked out and met with her, a quick to exchange was done and she was about to leave when the woman spoke.
“Are you sure this won’t put me in any danger?”
She swallowed the last remaining lump of lump she had from desperation and composed herself.
“It won’t… I am certain.”
A few minutes passed by before the voice spoke again.
She didn’t know what she was expecting as she arrived home but definitely not Christian at the terrace.
As her gaze came up on to meet him for no reason , a shiver ran down her spine. Okay. She mutter I almost a whisper as she swallowed from desperation –
She felt her heart racing a bit. As she put the bags down and walked briskly to him.
“I thought you were asleep.”
She knew she should have listened to her instincts and left a letter , it Seemed proper and won’t give a vibe that’s she left with no excuses –
She cocked her head to one side, assessing him. She wanted to say a lot of things and tried to convince him differently but at that moment, she lost track of words.
He looked the same to her , he looked still like a friendly person , as though he hasn’t aged a day
“You wouldn’t hurt me, would you?”Christian asked.
Hurt him?
She was surprised, had he been following her?
All these thoughts filled out her mind, she closed his eyes, fighting hard to breathe. Fuck, she thought it through again – was she doing this?
Every breath took a deep part of her as she thought about the entire situation over again , she felt the till, she felt pain all over, from hlw. he looked lost to that look on his face.
“No I can’t, I won’t hurt you.”
*****
As she walked away all he thought about was his damn dream, he needed to fog that nightmare from his mind, but in some way he kept seeing it over and over again.
He needed to be alone, wanted to be alone, so he could let himself deep in his worry and want, he wanted to wallow in this misery.
He needed to find himself but no matter how hard he tried to shove back those memories, it still played in his head, it was hard getting it out enough that all he did was sigh.
He flinched suddenly when he felt someone touch him, or was smooth and comfortable, those small fingers of hers tracing his hair, patting his head like he needed to be comforted.
In a way Christian was shocked that she was there but she needed it, she needed that bit of comfort but it was unexplainable why!
Much as he wanted her to leave he wouldn’t deny that he wanted her to remain touching him, when he found the right mind to look up
He looked. up and met her eyes . it looked like it was filled with desire, she wanted him and he could see the desire…Fuck.
“Not In the mood .”He muttered.
She still didn’t leave him, she cupped his face .
“, I need you.” It was her next words that broke him , as it almost let his soul drown.
“I am all yours take me ? Is it because you have no memories of everything.”
What was she referring to? He thought it through.
His memory?
Sex,?
This pain in his chest?
He pushed the thought away and instead from where he stood, looked at her dress.
Much as nothing seemed right, she seemed as the only thing in his mind real at that moment.
She was also rubbing his wrist.”You react to my touch yet you are fighting it …I see.”she smiled and nodded towards the action of her hands.
“Yes.”She wasn’t sure what else to say. If there was anything he wanted it was due this mental torture to stop .
Like Stillwater his heart was quiet, it looked like she was never going to halt, she continued with what she had been doing with her hands touching him.
Silence stretched between them as she rubbed his neck and stared around the room.
Was he finding the situation unnerving, had he forgotten her touch.
Before she had time to decide the answer to the question.
He spoke again.
“I would like to use the bathroom first?”
“All right.”she muttered
He could feel her gaze boring into her back as he walked away, still he forces himself to walk normally – to keep his pace at a normal speed despite wanting to run.
As he left the room anxiety washed over her and she slumped against the bed For a few minutes, at least, she thought it through.
Was she going to do this?
She stared at the plastic of pills.
