The next day, Rosiley rushed to Seneca’s ward after finishing her breakfast.
Seneca was still unconscious. The doctors in the USA had asked for him to be sent over there for a thorough check-up and a full investigation of his condition.
When Sachin told Rosiley the news, the latter went silent, falling into deep thought. After a long while, she replied, “I can allow my father to be sent to America if they can promise his full recovery. Otherwise, if they are only using my father as a subject for their medical research, I will reject them. I’d rather my father stay in his current condition than have him suffer again.”
Even though she had hated her father before, their blood relation was not something that could be easily severed.
“I respect your decision.” Sachin understood her concerns and thus he did not try to convince her.
She had decided to go to the hospital today to discuss with her father’s doctor what exactly the best decision for Seneca would be.
Arriving at the hospital, Rosiley found out that Xenia Zhao was present as well. She was glad that she had not allowed Sachin to follow her today.
“What a rare occurrence. I thought you had forgotten about the presence of your husband.”
Seeing Xenia Zhao, Rosiley was like a porcupine with spikes on her body, mocking her mercilessly.
Hearing that, Xenia Zhao’s expression changed as she defended herself. “There are many things in the company for me to handle. No one would be handling them if it weren’t for me.”
“Hmph!” Rosiley smirked. “I hope you are not taking this chance to take over the Group.”
“Rosiley, is this how you speak to your elders?”
Xenia Zhao stared at her with anger and embarrassment.
Rosiley side-glanced at her and decided not to argue with her, walking directly to her father’s ward.
On the bed, Seneca was still unconscious. The doctor was doing a check-up for him.
“Right now, Mr. Tang’s condition is fine. However, he still remains unconscious,” the doctor explained.
“Doctor, I am considering sending my father to the USA for treatment. What do you think?” Rosiley asked.
“This…” The doctor thought about it before replying, “With Mr. Tang’s condition, our hospital’s expert team can do nothing about it. If the Americans can heal Mr. Tang, it would definitely be a good idea to send him over there.”
The doctor was sincere and rational.
Rosiley thought about it for a while before making a final decision. “I shall send my father to the USA for treatment then.”
She would make such a decision if it would benefit her father.
At this time, standing beside her, Xenia Zhao became anxious when she heard that she wanted to send Away for treatment in the USA. “No, I disagree.”
Rosiley turned around and glared at her. “Do you have the right to disagree?”
Xenia Zhao ignored her words and explained hastily, “Your father is old and he can’t be moved around too much. He should just enjoy his treatment here. What if his condition worsens when he reaches the USA?”
“What if he wakes up in the USA? What I did with Rorey would get exposed! Group will have nothing to do with us anymore.”
She could never allow such a thing to happen.
Rosiley smirked. “Why? Are you afraid? Are you scared that what you did with Rorey will be exposed?”
Xenia Zhao’s expression changed. “What… nonsense… are you spouting?”
Her voice was trembling. She had no idea if Rosiley was bluffing her, or if she really knew what they had done.
“You know if I am spouting nonsense or not.” Rosiley glared at her before turning to the doctor. “I will see when is a convenient date to send my father over to the United States.”
The doctor nodded. “Alright, I will speak to the hospital as well.”
