“Can we talk about this, when we leave school,” I said softly as Beatrice drew out her chair to seat.
“No one would hear us here!” Beatrice smirked as she tapped her hands on the table.
We sat at the far end of the canteen not where we normally seat but it was still a bit far from where Lucas, Jenny, and their crews always seat.
“I still don’t feel comfortable,” I said glancing around my gaze scrutinizing the whole canteen looking out for him.
“Sit down, Camilla!” Beatrice snickered as she threw a fried chip into her mouth.
I sighed and drew out the chair sitting on it, knowing how stubborn Beatrice could be.
“I’m listening,” She spoke her gaze taunting me.
“He took me to his home!” I started and she coughed grabbing the bottle of water quickly, gulping its contents.
I knew she was silly that’s why I wanted the conversation not to happen in school. She would literally blow things up.
“OMG! He took you to his home?… I heard rumors he hadn’t taken a girl to his home, he keeps his life in private,” Beatrice said in a hushed tone as she leaned on the table moving closer to me.
“Jenny needs to hear this,” She laughed.
“Not even her has entered his home,” she said in a proud tone.
“She has!” I said biting my lips furiously as I remembered Lucas’s haunting touches on my skin.
“What do you mean she has?” Beatrice asked in a fiery tone looking disappointed.
“I meant she heard, she knows Lucas took me to his home,” I said nervously.
“Ohh! No wonder she has been acting like a bitch all day,” Beatrice smirked as she threw another fries into her mouth with satisfaction is written edible on her face.
“What did you two do?” Beatrice whispered.
“Nothing!” I stuttered avoiding her gaze.
“Then why have you been blushing all along,
?” she asked suspiciously fluttering her lashes like she would get answers from my face.
“Am I?” I groaned cupping my two cheeks together.
“Yes, you look like a ripe tomato, what did you two do?” She asked again drawing her chair closer to the table as it made a screeching sound.
I bit my lips furiously pondering on whether to tell her or not. ” We had a bath,” I spurted out.
“Holy freak!” Beatrice shouted with wide eyes getting the attention of other teenagers around us.
“Are you crazy? You’re making a fuss!” I whispered yelled trying to shush her as I glanced around.
Well, he wasn’t in the canteen but I still need to get cautious about it.
“No way! You got to be kidding me?” Beatrice said amusedly while people stared at us like we were crazy, well she was the one acting crazy.
“Can we talk about this later, you’re creeping me out,” I whined glaring at her.
“Okay, just one more and we will talk about everything in your home,” she grinned as she raised her brows signifying for me to continue.
“He kissed me!” I muttered avoiding her gaze as I bit my bottom lips furiously.
“OMG! This is so thrilling!” Beatrice screeched while I glared at her as I stood up.
“I’m going for the next period,” I said taking my lunch with me.
“Camilla! Wait, I didn’t mean to act that way,” She said running after me as I tried to get to the entrance of the canteen.
“Why are you acting excited about the whole thing, you should be trying to kill him like you usually do,” I muttered.
“Because I’m surprised myself,” She said and I turned to stare at her.
“What if he doesn’t hate you, but he is obsessed and likes you,” She beamed as I froze to my spot.
Does he like me?
Trust me, I’ve asked that question a dozen times but haven’t gotten an answer.
“Ehm! Camilla, leave the way,” Beatrice stuttered staring at my back.
I turned around to see Lucas and Jenny who was clinging to him as my gaze went to their hands molded together.
I felt stabbed in my heart but didn’t know why, I shouldn’t act like I cared but I was beginning to get Jealous.
Jenny was right, he was only using me and he would always go back to her.
“Hey leave the way, bitch!” Jenny sneered as a full smirk showed on her face and gaze that gave me the message of, ‘ I told you so’.
I felt a lump in my throat as I stood there overwhelmed and shifted my gaze to Lucas.
His taunting green eyes bored holes into my skin as his face was blank of emotions.
How dare he? How could he be so ruthless and thinks he could use me whenever he liked.
Tears gathered in my eyes and without spending any second for them to fall, I ran out of the canteen.
I let all the tears fall freely as I removed my glasses with one of my hands and used the back of my other hand to wipe my face angrily.
“Camilla! Camilla!! Hold on!!!” I heard Beatrice call as she tried to catch up with me.
I ran into the hallway and over to my locker as I sniffed loudly still wiping the crazy tears pouring out of my eyes.
“Camilla, what’s wrong?” Beatrice asked as she met up with me panting so hard.
“Nothing!” I choked avoiding her gaze as I tried to take my book for my last subject.
“Is it about him, right?” She asked trying to get my attention as I turned away from her.
“I don’t want to talk about it, does he think he could use me whenever he can?, make me look like one of his numerous girlfriends that he can toy with!” I vexed out, shutting my locker loudly.
“Woah, Woah! Calm down, are you starting to like him too?” She asked taking me back.
“N-No!… I do-don’t like him, why would I like that crazy psycho,” I stammered chuckling to myself.
‘But you’re starting to like him,’ My self-conscious said.
That would be the last thing I would ever wish to happen to me on earth.
Falling in love with my bully.
“Then why are you acting and sounding Jealous,” Beatrice’s question jolted me out of my trance world.
“I’m not, I wasn’t and will never be Jealous of him,” I fired angrily glaring at Beatrice.
C’mon, we just make up our issues and she was trying to pull all that down because of Lucas.
“Well, your expression said it all when you stared at him and Jenny together,” she shrugged with crossed arms as she rested on my locker.
“Beatrice can we stop talking about this, I’m starting to have a headache about all this conversation, I need to get to class,” I sighed placing my palms on my forehead, I felt nervous and sick about the all situation I found myself in and that’s because of him.
“Okay, then we’ll see after closing,” Beatrice said not pushing further while I nodded gratefully and went to class.

Finally, school was over and I was able to sneak my way from the hallway being able to avoid him.
I couldn’t concentrate, due to Jenny’s annoying shattering, wishing to make out with him.
That girl is such a slut…
I walked to the school’s park and was astounded to see Beatrice and Ben talking to each other beside her car.
I walked faster my curiosity taking the best part of me.
“How about we hang out this weekend?” I heard Ben asked Beatrice.
Can’t believe this is happening…
“Yeah sure,” Beatrice answered as she beamed happily at him.
Ben moved closer to Beatrice and he kissed her on the lips drawing her body by her waist closer to his, they were so carried away by the kiss for them to notice I was standing in front of them watching them.
I got shocked and had to clean my eyes making sure I was not seeing things.
This is so fascinating! I can’t believe that my best friend would be hanging out with my enemy’s best friend…
Out of all guys in the school, it has to be him?
I moved close to them and coughed lightly gaining their attention as their gaze snapped towards me, they were just as surprised as I was too.
“I gotta go, see you later,” Ben stuttered before he glanced at me and walked off.
I stared at Beatrice as my mouth hanged open and my jaw almost dropping to the floor.
I guess, I’m hallucinating, this can’t be real, wasn’t it the same Ben, Beatrice slapped hard in front of everyone the last few weeks.
I knew it, ever since he got slapped by Beatrice his brain has gotten a twitch or resetting.
He had been acting nice, ever since and doesn’t really bully me like he normally does.
“Am I seeing right?” I asked finally able to get my speech as I stared at a blushing Beatrice in front of me.
She avoided my gaze, I think it is my turn to interrogate her also.
“I’ll explain everything to you,” she murmured playing with her fingers, this was ravishing, it was her turn to get nervous in front of me too.
“You better do!” I scoffed, opening the passenger’s door, and got in as she turned around and sat on the driver’s seat.
“I’m listening!” I taunted as Beatrice ignited the car and zoomed out of the school compound.
