Book:His Burning Obsession Published:2024-8-26

The third period was hectic and boisterous as I ran down the hallway to my locker before anyone could pick at me especially him.
I haven’t had the chance to talk with Beatrice and I’ve tried calling her number during the weekend but she refused to pick, guess she’s still angry with me.
I have to look for a way and apologize to her, I can’t afford to lose the friendship I’ve been keeping for almost 6 years because of a psychopath.
I closed my locker after keeping my last book in it and ran to the library.
You may ask me why I’m running, it’s all because of Lucas. I’ve been trying every possible way to avoid eye contact with him or even glance in his direction.
I had to stay stiff in all periods without turning or scratching my body, I’ve never felt so nervous like that in my life, and immediately the bell rang I would be the first to scoot out from class.
I got to the library building with a sigh of relief as I opened the entrance door walking in as my heart stopped beating fastly.
God knows I could die of a heart attack if he comes my way.
“Good afternoon, Mrs. Parker,” I greeted the librarian at the front desk.
“Good afternoon dear, want to borrow some books?” She asked with a smile that lit up her face.
“No ma’am, I’m here to read,” I smiled holding the hem of my blouse anxiously as a bead of sweat formed on my face.
What the hell is wrong with me?
“Okay dear, you can go in,” she said and with that, I nodded and opened the glass door leading to the main part of the library.
I opted for one of the seats at the back of the shelves, that way no one would be able to see me or disturb me.
I needed to be alone for a while and I had no plans for attending the fourth period or break.
Well, the fourth period is just visual art, I had no idea why I picked that subject since I didn’t have taste in art, funnily, Lucas also picked the subject too.
That guy is such a hookworm, at least he won’t know I won’t be attending class, so I guess I’m free a bit.
I brought out my physics note and pen and started with the assignment.
I had been working for almost an hour when someone tapped my shoulder and got me started as I turned to see who it was.
The colors on my face drained off as my gaze met with the one person I’ve been running from.
But how? I made sure to look back to be sure no one was following me.
How did he even know I was in the library?
“Wh-What are you doing here?”I stuttered gripping the pen in my hand tightly almost to break it.
“To read,” He smirked sarcastically drawing out the chair beside me as he sat on it.
“I want to be alone!” I mumbled packing my books on the table as I stood up going for another seat.
I yelped when he drew me back by my wrist as I tripped sitting on his legs.
Luckily no one was in the library and no one could see how intimate we were from where we were sitting.
It has been my hidden place where I and Beatrice normally read if we want no disturbances.
His cologne suffocated my lungs as I tried to stand up from him as fast as possible but he snaked his arms around my waist trapping me to seat down still on his legs.
Strands of my hair fell over my face as I tried to get off him.
“Leave me alone!” I struggled but his grip on my waist seems to tighten more.
“Shhhh! You won’t want to let anyone know about us,” He taunted.
“There’s nothing between us, leave me alone! I need to study,” I said in a low aggressive voice.
“I don’t think, that’s true! Little sparrow,” He sneered pulling my flared skirt as my laps became exposed.
“Wh-What do you mean?” I asked trying to cover my exposed legs but his other hand held my hands together.
“You and I both know you are running away from me, isn’t that true, little sparrow?” He said huskily now moving his other hand up and down my thigh as my breath hitched.
“N-No!” I stuttered.
He knew! He knew I was running away from him, he’s truly a son of the devil.
“People can’t see us like this,” I stuttered trying to stand up from him.
“Well, I want them too,” He snickered trailing his hands on my skin that made me have strange feelings between my legs.
“Are you crazy?” I shouted before covering my mouth with my palms.
I can’t let anyone see us like this, and I know he doesn’t give a fuck but I do.
“Yeah, maybe I should give you a glimpse of how crazy I am for you?” He sneered and with that, he widened my legs as his hand came closer panties.
“Lucas please,” I begged to bite my lips.
“Please what?” He asked rubbing me slowly as I felt my panties moisten with his touch.
“Stop!” I gasped as my body shuddered from his teasing strokes.
“Your body isn’t saying that, you’re wet for me, little sparrow,” He said in a low croaky voice, teasing my clit with his fingers as I found myself arching my back for him.
“I told you, you’re Mine! And I will make you bad for me,” He said kissing my collarbone before he withdrew his hands away from me as a loud gasp escaped my mouth.
I stood up immediately from him when I realized he had freed him, I turned around and glared at him as a jeering smirk formed on his face while I so much wanted to punch that handsome face of his as his dark brown curly hair added to his features.
Why does he have to look so hot…
“I so much want to fuck you, Camilla,” He smirked bringing his finger into his mouth as he licked them.
“I hate you!” I muttered and threw murderous daggers to him as he sat relaxed on the chair looking unfazed about what he did.
I grabbed my bag and books and stormed out from the library.
Why does he always have to spoil my plans?
I got out of the library and wondering where to go, my gaze caught Beatrice coming out from the computer lab.
“Beatrice!” I called running up to her as she cat walked in skinny jeans and sneakers and a flowered shirt which she tied at the front.
“Beatrice” I heaved getting closer to her as she stopped in her tracks and turned slowly to me.
“Beatrice! I’m sorry,” I whispered as she stared with blinked eyes.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have been so off with you,” I said as tears formed on my face.
“It’s okay,” She said smiling before she walked up to me.
“You forgive me, right?” I asked a glint of hope forming in me.
“Why not? Do you expect me to be angry with you forever?” She chuckled and I sighed feeling relieved as I drew her to myself for a hug.
“I’ve missed you, I’m so sorry for being a jerk,” I cried holding on to her like she would evaporate any time soon.
“It’s okay baby, momma has forgiven you,” She cooed stroking my hair.
We finally broke the hug as we stared into each other eyes.
I couldn’t express how happy I was, life without her was so void.
“Are you okay?” She asked worriedly as I sniffed.
“Yeah,” I smiled.
“Okay, I was about to go to the canteen, what about you?” She asked.
“I-I can’…” I stuttered not knowing what to say afraid I would see those taunting green eyes again.
“Is it about Lucas?” She asked her gaze lingering on me.
“Yes, I don’t want to see him!” I said biting my lips furiously.
“OMG! You’re blushing,” Beatrice laughed her gaze scrutinizing me.
“Am I?” I asked holding my cheeks with my palms.
‘I told you, you’re Mine! And I will make you bad for me,’ His voice rang in my ear making me cringe at the thought.
Would he really make bad?
“Camilla! You’re zoning out again,” Beatrice chuckled with a curious look bringing me back to myself.
“What did he do to you? You’re explaining everything in detail to me, no excuse!” Beatrice said as she grabbed my wrist drawing me to the canteen.
