Angel POV.
“Sitdown, I’ll get you some water” That’s what Logan said as he left me alone in his office, I was terrified, after the meeting we had, the way Ryan kept on looking at me, the way he’d talk to me, and then what happened afterwards.
Mia and Alec stayed with Silas for a bit leaving me alone behind, Ryan followed me to the office, he stayed behind with me, he got closer to me, and I tried to get away, I tried to slip away from him but he kept getting closer to me.
“Ryan, please stay away from me,” I say to him in a trebling voice, avoiding his eyes.
“Why stay away? Are you just enjoying teasing me?” Ryan says getting even closer to me, our bodies were meeting now, and I wanted to get away, I tried to take a step back, but I couldn’t go back anymore.
“Ryan, please, please, please,” I beg him to get away from me, but he placed a finger under my chin lifting my head up until our faces met, he kissed my lips, and this kiss wasn’t like the one he gave me yesterday, today he sucked my lips, he invaded my mouth and I tried my best to keep my lips shut.
“Hey, is everything okay here?” Silas asks coming in the office, Ryan was quick to let me go, he pulled back, he didn’t look at me, he had me hidden behind his back.
“Yeah, we’re just talking,” Ryan lies.
“Don’t you have work to do Ryan?” Silas asks him.
“I do, I’m waiting for Alec,” Ryan answer him, taking a seat in front of Alec’s office.
“What do you want from him?” Silas asks him with a raised brow as they both took their seats.
“He fell, I need to make a report for the HR department and all, do you want to sue?” Ryan asks.
“No, we don’t want to sue anyone,” Silas asks.
“That’s still debatable sir, we can make them pay us compensation for the harm they did,” Mia says in a cold voice.
“I’ll compensate for your highness, finish the report and get going,” Silas orders before leaving the office, leaving all of us behind, he sat in front of Alec but his eyes kept going back toward me, I tried to sit down and work, but I didn’t know how to work, I should fix my notes, but I couldn’t do that, not with him around here in the room with us.
I kept an eye on him, I was terrified of him, what if he tries to kiss me again, my desk phone rang and so I answered it, it was Logan, he asked who’s here, and I told him that it’s us and Ryan, he called me over to his office and I was glad to just run over to his office to hide from this guy.
“I’m okay,” I lied, but he decided to go and get me water, I stayed in his office, hoping that this would be my safe place, I had no idea why he called me here but I’m happy to hide in his office than staying i mine.
“Are you ready baby?” Hunter, the cop I met twice before says walking right into the office, he’s Logan’s mate, that’s what William says.
“Uhhh…” I say looking at him, ready for what, is this why I’m called into this office?
“Oh, you’re not Logan, hello Miss Angel,” he says with a smile on his face.
“Hello, Hunter, detective? Mister Logan’s mate?” I say and that made him laugh, I wasn’t sure how to call him, or what to say to him.
“Just call me Hunter, no need for any other titles, and so Logan told you that I’m his mate?” he asks me.
“Not really, but William told me,” I say explaining how I found out.
“Oh, William did, I heard you’re good friend with Dylan, he actually talked about you and it’s been years since he was interested in any kind of human, and if something happens, if anyone talks to you in a bad way, just call Dylan, or tell Logan, or call the police. I’m one of their representative,” he assures me with a wink.
“Okay,” I say, why does he talk as if he knew something was going on, maybe I could talk to William about Ryan, but how do I tell him that Ryan kissed me twice already?
“Where’s my mate?” Hunter asks me next with a smile on his face.
“He said he’s going to get me water, but he’s been too long,” I say, and in the same time Logan walked in holding two cups of coffee and a third one of water.
“Hey love,” Logan says coming in, he kissed Hunter’s cheek handing him a cup of coffee, turning to me handing me the water and kissing the top of my head.
“Hello little one,” he says to me, and then takes his seat behind his desk.
“Hi,” I say blushing, the way he acts with me was different than Ryan, with him I felt safe and wanted, and it made me blush.
“So what are we supposed to be talking about?” Hunter asks.
“Hunter is here as an official visit, he’s here as representative of the police department,” Logan says introducing his mate.
“Okay,” I say not sure what I’m doing here, I didn’t want to file an official complain.
“You’re here to help us, take note for us, and give us you’re blue opinion,” Logan explains why I’m here as well, I nod, this is my job and I’m more than ready to do it.
“Okay,” I answer him, I left the tablet in my office, I stood up to run and get it to take notes.
“Where you going?” Hunter asks with a raised brow.
“To get the tablet, it’s still in my office,” I explain and he nods, I ran there and was happy to see that Ryan has left and it’s just me and the other two in here now.
“Are you guys okay?” I ask them, checking on Alec and Mia.
“I still want to sue,” Mia says.
“Master said no,” Alec comments, and I nod, then there was nothing they could do now, it’s his decision and not ours.
“I’m sorry, hope you feel better,” I say getting my tablet, and going back to the office, I didn’t knock, I was just here and they are expecting me to come back, when I opened the door I saw the back of Hunter, he had Logan against the wall, kissing? Or maybe some more.
I was so worried about Logan, I didn’t want him to be hurt, I know how bad that thing is, I dropped the tablet on the ground and ran to save Logan, I pulled Hunter by the back of his shirt, but he’s a much stronger vampire and guy than me, I couldn’t really pull him back.
“Hey, hey, are you okay?” Hunter says turning toward me, the tears were starting to gather in my eyes.
“No, don’t hurt him,” I cry out, so angry that the tears wouldn’t stop going down my face.
“He didn’t hurt me, hey look at me, I’m fine,” Logan says running toward me, he hugged me tight, letting me cry into his shirt.
“What happened to her?” I heard Hunter whisper over my head as I kept on crying, I was full on crying now.
“Close the door,” Logan orders going toward the seat in his office, he sat down and pulled me into his lap, letting me cry it all out, it took me a long time to stop crying, to be able to gather myself and stop the tears, I couldn’t stop, I just couldn’t, Logan was being hurt and I wanted to keep him safe.
“Now deep breath, deep breath,” Logan says pulling me off his chest, making me look at him instead of at his shirt.
“Calm down, calm down,” he says taking breathes with me, until I managed to copy his breathing.
“Water?” Hunter says handing me my cup, I took a couple small sips from the water calming down.
“Thank you for trying to save me little one, but I didn’t need saving, what me and Hunter have done was something consensual, he didn’t do anything that I didn’t want him not to do,” Logan explain to me and I felt stupid now, I tried to attack my boss’s mate and now I’m sitting in my boss lap crying.
I felt extremely embarrassed and even very stupid for doing all of that, I stood up right away, I took a step back feeling my whole face and neck going red with how embarrassed I was then, this was the stupidest move ever, I shouldn’t have done that. He’s a vampire, and he doesn’t need saving especially from me, I’m just a human that can’t stand for myself, let alone my boss.
“I’m sorry for what happened, that wasn’t very professional of me,” I say trying to get my breath under control.
“That was very blue of you actually,” Hunter says from behind me, so he’s still here in the room, I looked behind me and felt the embarrassment going through my body all over again, the blush was even worse, I felt like I have ruined any chance of being friend with Hunter, and he’s my boss’s mate, which made things even worse now, I couldn’t believe that happened.
“Blue of me?” I say the blush was going all over my body now, I was fully red now.
“Yes, very blue, you saw Logan in danger and you went to save him, you were worried about him, you care about him,” Hunter says and I nod, exactly, I cared very much about him.
“Of course I care about him,” I answer him.
“But you care more than just as your boss,” he says I looked down at the ground avoiding his eyes, he didn’t just say that, he can’t say that, I care about Logan, but he’s my boss at the same time, I can’t say that I care about him more than being just my boss.
“Don’t be so shy, it’s okay, go ahead and tell him, I care about you more than just my employee,” Logan says encouraging me to tell him the truth.
“I care about Logan very much,” I say in a whisper tone.
“I’m very happy that you care very much about him, cause I care too, so we share that, we both care about that guy,” Hunter says pulling me by the hand toward where he was sitting.
He placed a finger under my shin and lifted my head up so he could look me in the eye, his eyes were filled with confidence, he looked like a man that could be trusted with your soul, heart and body, he gave me the same feeling that William, Dylan, and Logan gave me.
“No need to be shy, no need to look down, I’m right here,” Hunter says with a smile on his face.
“I’m sorry that I attacked you,” I say with a blush.
“I’m more than happy that you attacked me, but please don’t do that again, I love Logan, and I’ll never hurt Logan, he’s my soul mate, and he’s the one I love him so much,” Hunter says.
“I’m sorry that I attacked you, I won’t do it again,” I say to him with some tears starting to fall down my face.
“It’s okay munchkin, I know you didn’t mean it, now is it okay if I hug you?” he says, and I nod, he pulled me toward him and hugged me tight.
“You’re so precious, no wonder you got my mate wrapped around your little finger,” Hunter says.
“Hey, don’t run around telling her all my secrets,” Logan scolds his mate.
“What doesn’t she know that you talk about her all the time? That she’s the one that hunts your dream,” Hunter says.
“Shut up,” Logan answer him.
