Chapter 50

Olivia’s eyes were tied, immediately the ship halted, indicating to have reached their destination. She could hear distant male voices but couldn’t make out what they were saying.
She was brought to a large and beautiful Villa. It was surrounded by water, as it was the only house which could be found there.
The man who adopted her, brought her into a room, after which he untied her, including her eyes.
Olivia glanced at him, hatred seething from her heart. “You could’ve just left me all tied up, what’s the need of untying me. Petty adopter.” She hissed, looking away.
The man slammed the door and left, Ignoring her words, even though it did make him feel bitter.
Olivia’s eyes scanned the room as she took in the elegant and expensive decor of the room. If a kidnapper could keep her in a room like that, then they really weren’t going to harm her or maybe it was her extravagant thinking.
The room was whitish, as everything in the room screamed of brightness. Olivia and her bag was the only thing in the room that wasn’t white.
It was just a medium sized room, with no window and only one exit door, which was locked by the man. There was a bed and a chair, also a door leading to where she supposed was the bathroom room.
Olivia sat on the bed, as she removed her shoes. She took her bag and opened it, just to find her phone in there.
“He really left her phone with her?” She smiled and brought it out.
She was quick to dial Morgan’s number, but it didn’t go through, as there was no signal. After several trials, she gave up and slumped into the bed.
Maybe that’s why he left the phone with her, because there wasn’t any signal in the building or in the room where she was staying.
Her mind drifted to the reason she left home, how could someone have her kidnapped, just on the day her mom opened her eyes. A day that was supposed to be a joyful day for, as she had been waiting so long for this day, when her mom would open her eyes.
Olivia’s eyes stinging with pain. She was brought to an unknown and unfamiliar place, with no idea what would be done to her.
Would Morgan look for her?
Even she couldn’t get to him, so her hope of him being her saviour was tiny.
Morgan was so mad, since he couldn’t get through to Olivia’s number. She was gone without a trace and the most confusing thing was he couldn’t track her or get through to her.
He would have believed she ran off because of his warning and words last night, but given her undivided love for her mom, she couldn’t ignore her mom and run off just like that. Especially not when she’s been waiting for a long while.
These made it more clear that she was kidnapped, but by who? Morgan didn’t want to believe that Xavier would dare to play such a card on him.
Morgan swept back his hair, his darkened eyes seething with rage and anger.
Just as he was about to light the cigarette stick in his hands, his phone rang, flashing the doctor’s name on the screen.
“Speak.” He said bluntly.
“Sir, the patient you left in our care just opened her eyes this morning. I’m sorry, I didn’t Inform you on time, but she’s demanding to see ma’am Olivia.” The man said, apologetically.
Morgan paused, his brows getting deeper as he glanced at the phone to be sure on who was speaking to him.
“Did you not already inform her this morning?” He asked.
“No, I haven’t done that yet. I just happened to be back in the hospital this evening after I left in the morning.”
“So who called her?” Morgan mumbled.
“Sir, you said something.”
“Not necessary, I’d be there now.” Morgan shook him off, as he hung up the call.
___
Outside of the villa, where Olivia was kept, a man stood beside a tall and large coconut tree, making a call, as he didn’t want anyone else to hear him.
“Hello sir, the job is done. The girl is in the Villa.” His deep voice was heard.
“Good, I’d be there by tonight. Watch over her, don’t let her do something funny, that?” A fake electronic voice instructed from the other side of the phone.
“Okay sir.”
With that the call was ended, the man looked towards the house and entered back into the mansion.
“What do you think you’re doing, standing there to gossip? Get to work and be fast!!” His voice roared, causing the servants who were gossiping to flinch, as they bowed in apology and went back to their various works.
He walked past them and entered into a not so dark room, filled with computers and electronic gadgets. He pulled out a chair and sat down, he typed a few things on the keyboard and immediately the room Olivia was in could see. He zoomed in on it and her face was in full view,
He stared at her face for a while, an unknown feeling growing in the pit of his chest.
Why does she look so much like her?
He thought inwardly, unable to shake off the feeling in his chest. When he received her picture as the one to be kidnapped, he thought it was just a slight resemblance.
But, he turned out to be wrong. She looked exactly like her, even the way she spoke, the way she blinked her eyes, so innocently and timid.
Looking at her face, he couldn’t bring himself to kidnap or harm her, but he needed the money urgently, so urgently that he couldn’t let his luck slide.
He sure was going to look more into her story, after this kidnap to be sure she isn’t really the same person he had in mind. And God help him, if it was her, then he wasn’t going to let her go, not again.
It wasn’t long before his boss walked into the building, dressed usually in a cloth that revealed nothing, except for his cold and dangerous eyes.
He quickly turned off the computers and came out of the room.
“Where’s she?” The electronic voice sounded.
