Later in the morning, when Olivia woke up, the bed was empty. The area where Morgan laid was cold, indicating that he’s been gone for a long time.
She yawned, stretching her body, as she got up from the bed. Just then, it hit her memory that she was supposed to be dressed for school.
She hurried out of Morgan’s room, heading to her own room, to get dressed and wash up for school.
When she was done, Nicholas was already waiting for her. She entered the car and left.
The drive to her school was silent and boring, not until Olivia started with her questions.
“Uhhm, has it been long since Morgan left for the office?” She asked, glancing at Nicholas through the rear mirror.
“Hmmh.” Nicholas nodded.
Olivia nodded and looked away.
It wasn’t long before they arrived at the path of the school. She reminded him to drop her off before the school’s gate, which he did.
Before Olivia walked into the school, she took out her phone and sent a quick message to Morgan. With a smile etched on her face she walked into the school.
Olivia hadn’t walked long, when she caught sight of two familiar faces. One was no other person but Ava. But how did she get into this school? It could only mean that Larry sponsored her.
That douchebag said he had no more money, but he still had lots of money to enroll Ava into a big school.
Olivia’s eyes stung with pain, as her hatred for them escalated. She looked away from Ava’s profile, letting her gaze fall on the other familiar-faced girl.
Oh no, where did I see this face?
Olivia thought, closely observing her too, in order to remember, just as the girl turned around, her gaze locked with Olivia’s eyes.
No way!
It was one of the workers in the mall, where she had auditioned for a model. She was there, when Mrs Carla, selected her as a model for her designs.
The girl gasped, before she could scream Olivia’s name, Olivia was right in front of her, pulling her away from prying eyes of other students.
Olivia looked around, having confirmed that no one was looking their way, as they were shielded by a large, giant Pillar.
“What are you doing?” The girl asked, creasing her brows, as she stared at Olivia.
“What I’m supposed to do. Look, I know what you were going to do out there, and I didn’t want that to happen.” Olivia babbled, smiling awkwardly.
The girl seems to take a deep breath, and then returns her gaze at Olivia.
“what happened? you didn’t show up again, after the audition. Mrs Carla, had been looking for you.”
“I’m so sorry. I can’t be part of the models anymore. I guess, I should just forget about that.” Olivia said, twitching her lips apologetically.
“Why is that?”
“You see, my parents are against me doing that. I’ve been grounded all these while, just so, I wouldn’t sneak back there.”
“Oh my, I’m sorry about that. I’d inform Mrs Carla about it then.” She said, taking out her phone.
Olivia nodded and smiled. “Thank you.”
She was about to leave when the girl called her back, “What’s your name again?”
“Ohh, it’s Olivia.”
“I’m Sofia. You seem to be new here, I haven’t seen you here before, or I’m just too adamant.” She chuckled.
“I’m new, yeah. Just started yesterday.” Olivia admitted, clearing her throat.
“Ohh, that’s cool then. I’ve been here for some months, I can help show you around. You’re pretty too, you’d have a lot of friends.” She giggled, pulling Olivia, as they walked further into the school building.
As they walked further, they discussed their courses, although it wasn’t the same course, they still had few classes to share.
Olivia had already liked Sofia, she was outgoing and funny, making everything around her look easier.

Morgan sat in his office, with legs crossed and a glass held in his left hand. A smug smile was etched on his face, as his gaze read through the file on his table.
That file was evidence of his collaboration with Mr Marco’s company. It signifies his partnership with him.
There were other branches of Klein’s Enterprise, outside Manilla and other parts of the country. But collaborating with Mr Marco and being able to stall and build another branch in America was a whole new thing.
Morgan was hoping to hit massive sales, on the night of the auction, which was, one more day to go.
He was still looking through the files, when Nicholas came in. He handed Morgan a file, which suddenly changed the contours of his face.
“Is this all?” He demanded.
“Yes sir.” Nicholas nodded.
Gilbert’s mansion,
Cecilia and Xavier were sitting inside the gazebo, which was built, a few distance from the main building.
“Thanks for the meal mom. Your meal will always be the best.” Xavier smiled, wiping his mouth, with the table towel.
Cecilia smiled, acknowledging his appreciation.
Shortly, after Xavier was done eating, Cecilia cleared her throat and began.
“Is there any information on Morgan’s fake wife?” She asked, glancing at Xavier.
“Ohh, about her? Everything is under control, I’m just waiting for the perfect time to strike.” he said, letting out a smug smile.
“I got a message from Mr Marco, I’d be leaving Manila for a few days .” He added.
Cecelia frowned, “You can’t do that son, what about the company?”
“Morgan is in charge for now.”
“What nonsense, are you busy saying? How can you leave the company for your rival, who knows what he’d do before you get back?” Cecilia stated, Obviously not happy about Xavier’s decision.
“You don’t need to worry about that mom, once I’m back, I would have the evidence that shows my partnership with Mr Marco. I also have the proof of Morgan’s fake marriage. With that, I’d take him down and have the company in my hands.” he explained happily, giving his mother a reassuring look.
Cecelia seems to think for a while, before she nodded, in agreement to what Xavier had said.
“You’re still as quick witted and smart as I could remember. Just know, I’d back you up in every decision you make.” She smiled.
Xavier smiled, and pulled her into a hug.
