Chapter 25

Book:The CEO'S Delicate Wife Published:2024-8-24

It was raining heavily in Morning, Olivia was cuddled up in her bed, thinking about many things. From the possibilities of Morgan being a gay to going back to school.
Olivia was happy, she was finally getting back to school, and Rescrest for the matter. Her lips tugged with smile as she couldn’t wait.
She was still thinking when her mom came into her mind, her mood dropped. The vegetative state her mother was in, were all caused by Larry and she’d forever hate it.
Olivia was at least glad that she ran into Morgan, though he couldn’t be tagged as good.
Someone knocked on her door, snapping her out of her thoughts. Shortly the door was opened and Nicholas walked in, he was carrying a set of packaged clothes and a box.
“Good morning Nick,” Olivia yawned, getting up from bed.
Nicholas seems to pause for a while, his gaze snapping at Olivia. Olivia, who seemed to notice his sudden change let out a laugh.
“You shouldn’t be like this all the time. You remember Ava calling you an old man?, that’s because you’re always putting on a poker face.” Olivia stated, walking towards him.
Nicholas cleared his throat, his gaze sweeping past Olivia again. He wasn’t used to Olivia’s side of talking, she was always quiet except when she wanted to say her piece of mind to Morgan.
“What are these?” She asked, glancing at what he was carrying.
“Young master had these clothes ordered for you. You’d be joining him to visit his friends tonight.” Nicholas stated.
“Friends?”
Morgan didn’t look like someone who had friends. Now she was curious to know what kind of friends he had, though it was obvious they would be rich and wealthy dudes.
“Ohh, thank you.” Olivia nodded, taking the clothes from him.
“Take this too, it’s the matching shoe for one of the clothes, the one you’d be wearing.”
Olivia nodded again, taking the box from him. “Thank you.” She smiled.
Nicholas smiled cheekily, and turned to leave. His mind drifting back to what Olivia had said earlier.
He wasn’t actually being distant, since Olivia was a contractual wife, he thought it was better not getting attached with her. Anyways the contract was bound to end.
Morgan was on a face time with Mr. Marco. They had finally settled with a date of the Exhibition ceremony, which would be held in Quezon City Hall.
After the call had ended, Morgan closed his laptop, about to get up when Olivia came into his room.
He frowned, his gaze washing over her.
Earlier Olivia had built a lot of confidence, just to come into his room and seemed that all those confidence were vanished, just by his mere gaze.
She smiled awkwardly trying to act bold, “I don’t know if anyone has told this, but you’d get old sooner, if you continue furrowing your brows like that.”
“I see. What are you doing here?” Morgan asked deeply, reaching for his suit.
“You’re forgetting your meds.”
“It’s not like I’m running a temperature. You can keep that, it’s of no use.” Morgan said shooting her a glance.
“Fred, said you should take it. You don’t necessarily need to run a temperature before taking it.”
“Fred?” Morgan hummed, staring deeply at her.
“You call him Fred? You seem to be pretty close to him already.”
It was not Olivia’s turn to knit her brows, she frowned at Morgan. ” What on Earth are you getting at? Isn’t his name Frederick?”
“You should address him as The doctor, I mean, the doctor said..”
“You’re not serious. I’d address anyone the way I want to and Fred is no exception.” Olivia said, in matter-factly tone.
Morgan seemed to think for a while, his lips tugging with a mischievous smile. As fast as Olivia could blink, she was pinned against Morgan’s chest, his hands firmly holding her waist.
“If so, what will you address me as?” he asked, cocking his head by his side.
Olivia hissed, trying to push him off her. But he didn’t bulge, remaining there like an unmovable mountain.
“Get off me”
“You are yet to answer my question.”
Olivia tried hard not to look into his deep enchanting eyes, she looked everywhere but his face.
“How else do you want me to address you, if not by your name?
“Address me then.”
“You’re kidding. Get off me!”
“Do it already, else I’m taking your lips.”
“You wouldn’t dare to…”
Thw rest of her words were swallowed by Morgan’s lips, his wet hot mouth, sucking and nippling her lower lips until she was out of breath. His gaze settled on her face as soon as his mouth left hers.
“You still want to doubt what I’d do?” his now gruffy voice asked teasingly.
Olivia’s heart was pounding like it was going to jump out of her chest. Her breathing and thinking were messy, as it took her time analyze what just happened.
“Get off me!” Olivia yelled, her voice mixed with hurt.
Morgan smirked, his gaze washing over her as if thinking of what next to do. Olivia seemed to see through his mind, not wanting to be kissed by him again, she blurted.
“Young master. Are you satisfied?”
Morgan’s gaze turned dark as his jaw tightened. “You’ll do no such thing.”
“I’d do such thing. Everyone address you as Young master, I’m no different.” Olivia stated, seemingly unaware of his change in expression.
Morgan was silent, after a while he released her waist and turned away from her. “You can leave.”
Olivia released a deep sigh of relief, as he moved away from her.
“I came for the meds, if you don’t remember.” She muttered.
“Leave it there.”
“Nonsense. You want me to believe you’d take it, if I were to leave it here? Dream on.”
“Don’t make me repeat myself.” Morgan challenged, his voice threatening.
Olivia couldn’t comprehend the look on his face as he had his back facing her.
“Do whatever you want, it’s your health anyway.” She hissed and dropped the meds container on the table, before she turned around and left.
