The hospital staff couldn’t believe their eyes, when they saw Morgan come out the ward, carrying Olivia in his arms.
Some of them who were secretly crushing on him, couldn’t hold in their hatred towards Olivia.
Under the prying eyes of people around, Morgan carried her into the car. He also came in to sit beside her.
“You didn’t have to carry me like that, I mean, how do you expect me to come here next time?” Olivia whined, as she glared at Morgan.
Morgan turned to look at her, his gaze roaming around her face, he let out a low chuckle.
“Why’s your face so red? It could be mistaken as a tomato.” He smiled, tugging his collar.
“It’s all your fault, you didn’t have to be so touchy and clingy, spouting rubbish with your mouth.”
Nicolas wasn’t used to this side of Morgan, he was obviously teasing and enjoying Olivia’s whining.
“Being too touchy and spouting nonsense was part of the act, besides you shouldn’t be acting like this, haven’t you been touched by a man?”
Olivia choked, looking away from him immediately. She seemed to hesitate before replying.
“Nonsense, I’ve been touched by a man, multiple times.” She stated, avoiding Morgan’s gaze.
“I see.” He nodded, his face slowly darkening as he looked away from her.
After that, the car suddenly fell silent as no one said a thing again.
Soon they arrived at the estate, Nicholas hurried out to hold out the door for Olivia, which she found embarrassing.
She glanced at Morgan who seemed oblivious to coming out of the car.
“Aren’t you going to come down?” She asked, even though it wasn’t necessary.
“I’d head to the office.” Morgan hummed, not sparing her a glance.
“Ohh” Olivia nodded and turned away.
She could feel Morgan’s gaze on her back, but didn’t dare to look back. Soon she heard the car’s engine roaring as they drove off, heading back to the office.
It was then that she turned to look back, when the car was almost invisible, a small smile escaped her lips.
Heading back into the mansion, her gaze stopped at a small house, there were few girls, dressed in uniform as they lurked around there.
She knitted her brows in confusion, it was actually her first time seeing those girls, or rather noticing the house. Now her interest was piqued.
“Oli dear,” Aunt Maureen smiled, sighting Olivia.
“Aunt Maureen,” she smiled softly, adjusting her gaze towards the middle aged woman.
“Did you meet the young master’s father?” Aunt Maureen asked, seemingly interested in whatever Olivia was about to say.
“Yeah, I did meet him. He’s pretty nice, I like him.” She smiled softly.
“Who are these girls? I don’t think I’ve seen them before.” Olivia asked, shifting her gaze back to the girls she saw earlier.
“Oh, they’re the new set of servants recruited. They’re still undergoing lessons and training, the last sets were all fixed on seducing the young master, trying to lure him to bed. They were all fired.”
Olivia frowned, anger creeping into her mind at the mere thought of it. “Did any of them succeed?”
“Of course not, actually the young master hasn’t been in Manila for a long time, he came back a few months ago.”
“Really? So how then did those servants get the chance to seduce him?” Olivia asked, arching her brows.
“It’s a long story, but none of them got to him. In Fact, I’ve never seen young master with any woman since I started working for him.” Aunt Maureen looked around the environment, motioning Olivia to come closer.
“Rumor has it that he might be gay.” she whispered to Olivia as she came closer.
Olivia gasped, widening her eyes in shock.
“I almost believed it, not until he brought you back home. You’re actually the first woman the young master brought home.”
If not for what Aunt Maureen just told her, Olivia would’ve been blushing. She smiled, still thinking about Morgan being a gay.
“Don’t tell this to anybody.” Aunt Maureen warned.
“I won’t dare.” She shook her head.
Aunt Maureen smiled, “You go ahead, I’d calm you later, okay?”
“Okay.”
With that, Aunt Maureen walked past her, a soft smile etched on her face.
Olivia went into her room. She still couldn’t shake off what she just heard about Morgan.
“Gay, gay, gay?” She mumbled, pacing around the room.
could it be true that he was actually gay? Was it also the reason he married her, so he could protect his nature from the public?
Of course he can’t be gay, his actions in the hospital were contrary to what a gay would do. But that was all an act.
Olivia couldn’t think straight as these questions flooded her mind.
“Olivia you’re overreacting, whether he is gay or not, it’s none of your business. After the contract is over, you’ll go your separate ways.” her inner mind scolded her.
“Yes that’s true.” She mumbled, after thinking for a while. She shook her head, as if shaking off the whole thing going on in her head.
Just as she was about to go into the washroom, her eyes stopped on the papers settled on her desk.
At this rate, she could no longer ask how the papers got to her room. It was obvious, Morgan had a spare key to her room.
She slowly took the papers, settling on the chair as she opened it. Last time, she didn’t get to read the contents of their Contract.
She was still reading the contract, when her eyes read a particular rule.
*PARTY B MUST NOT DENY PARTY A THE RIGHT, OF GETTING INTIMATE WHENEVER PARTY A WANTS, AS A HEIR IS EXPECTED TO BE PRODUCED*
“No way!” She gasped, covering her mouth.
Morgan didn’t tell her this part of the contract. At that moment Olivia realized she had been tricked. She only read the first page of the contract then, thinking the rest was like that, she hurriedly signed it, not knowing she’s expected to birth his child.
Olivia made up her mind to terminate the contract, she couldn’t continue, not when she’s expected to sleep with Morgan and bear him a child.
That wasn’t the kind of life she wanted for herself, nor would her mom want that kind of life for her.
She was going to wait until Morgan was back, then she’d file for a divorce and terminate the contract. Nothing was going to stop her.
So she thought…
