Rachel sat in her office, deep in thought, discussing her lycan side with Zech. They were trying to come up with a plan to conceal it, to ensure her safety and the safety of those around her. It was a difficult task, but one they knew they had to face.
“I can ask the witch to help you conceal your scent,” he said hoping that it could offer as a solution to the problem.
“Will she agree to it?, I know this is something huge but I don’t think we need to cover my scent as long as I don’t go back to New York I am safe” she added with hesitations.
“You really have no intention of going back with me, I want you to be around me where you are safe” he said with a pleading voice, he knew that that place brought back bad memories for her, but hef safety was his number one priority.
“Zech listen, I know you have realized your mistake, but this is a big decision for me. I need time to think about it, and besides why did you go looking for a witch? Were you investigating me?”. She asked with a suspicious look on her face, she trusted him but why was he investigating me to begin in with.
“No no, there’s this curse in my family, we can never find our mates. I want to break it and find my mate, but the witch had demand for a price” he said the last part nearly above a whisper.
She frowned “what did she ask for”.
“The blood of a half Lycan” he said in a low tone “I am not asking you to give me your blood, so you don’t have to worry about it”.
“If I don’t give you, who else do you think will give you, Dreg? She covered her mouth immediately seeing she had said what she wasn’t supposed to say.
Zech raised his head in shock “wait you mean Dreg is a lycan, now it all made sense why he smelled so weird”. He couldn’t believe Dreg Is a lycan, that was really a shock to him.
“You have to promise me you won’t speak a word about it” She grabbed his hand seeing he was still silent, she wondered if he was still contemplating about it.
“Fine I promise”he said seeing how desperate she was to protect him.
“Zech I have something to tell you” she said fiddling with her fingers and looking downwards.
“Tell me what it is, I am here for you”. He focused all his attention on her and held her hand gently encouraging her

As she was about to speak, the door to Rachel’s office swung open, and Bella rushed in, her face flushed with excitement Zech Immediately retrieved his hand Rachel blushed in embarrassment like they have been caught doing something.
In her hand, she held an envelope, a gleaming golden seal adorning the front. She practically skipped over to Rachel’s desk, unable to contain her enthusiasm.
“Rachel, you won’t believe what just happened!” Bella exclaimed, her voice filled with a mix of joy and disbelief.
Rachel looked up from her conversation with Zech, her brows furrowing in curiosity. “What is it, Bella? What’s got you so thrilled?”
Bella beamed, holding up the envelope for Rachel to see. “You have been invited by DW France perfume company! They’re one of the biggest perfume companies in the world, and they hold a competition once every three years. And guess what? You have been selected to participate!” She said with pure happiness written all over her face.
Rachel’s eyes widened in surprise, her heart pounding with excitement. DW France was renowned for its exquisite perfumes and luxurious brand image. Being invited to participate in their competition was a dream come true for any aspiring perfumer.
She couldn’t help but feel a surge of happiness in her heart, she had always wanted to be part of that competition. This was a dream come true. “Oh my goodness, Bella! That’s incredible! I’m so happy.”
Bella’s cheeks turned a shade of pink as she basked in the happiness of Rachel’s recognition. “I am so proud of you, Rachel! I can’t believe it.
Finally you have a chance to make yourself known. It’s a huge opportunity for you to showcase your skills and learn from the best in the industry.”
Bella couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy mixed with her genuine happiness for Rachel.
She had always dreamed of participating in such a prestigious competition, but her inability to be as talented as Rachel made It impossible to stand out, but she was genuinely happy for Rachel.
Zech, who had been observing the exchange between Rachel and Bella, couldn’t help but smile at their excitement. He admired Rachel’s ability genuinely to be able to stand out and be invited by such a powerful company.
“Bella, I know how much you’ve always wanted something like this,” Zech said, his voice filled with understanding. ” Now you finally have a chance at proving yourself and showing your talent to the world.” He stood up and took her hands in his gently “I’ll always be there to support you”
Rachel nodded, her smile fading slightly as she refocused her attention. “You’re right, Zech. Thank you for always supporting me.”
Rachel took the envelope and read through it, then she saw that she could bring alone one perfumery as her assistant, she looked up and smiled at Bella “Bella you could come with me”.
“Really” Bella’s eyes immediately lit up at Rachel’s words.
“Yes, look at it written I could bring one more person”. Bella immediately hugged her.
“Thank you so much Rachel, it would be an honor”. She said still hugging Rachel.
Suddenly the door to her office swung open, Dreg walked in with a very suffocating aura surrounding him, one could see he was in a very bad mood, he just spoke “You can’t Go”.
