In the past, Aurelia would stay in the dormitory when she didn’t want to go back to the villa.
However, since Callum said that she was not allowed to live in the dormitory, she hadn’t come to the dormitory.
She touched Liana’s long hair lovingly and sighed, “I miss you too. I’ll stay there for a little while.” As she spoke, she kissed Liana’s fair and tender hand affectionately.
Larry immediately complained, “Aurelia, your tricks don’t work on me. Look at the handsome guys in our class. They’ll get jealous of me!”
With that, Liana smiled and rolled her eyes at Larry before saying, “Except you! You’re not one of them!”
Everyone laughed at her words.
As the bell rang, everyone went back to their seats. Professor Andy Nahum walked in.
He cast a special look at Aurelia in the back row. She looked quite energetic.
“The class will begin now.”
Though Aurelia was still an overbearing student, it was obvious that she got into less trouble.
Her classmates were surprised.
But it was difficult to change one’s nature!
Just when everyone thought Aurelia had become a disciplined student, she was asked to the dean’s office again.
Because she missed classes for a week.
But this time, the dean seemed to be merciful. He only scolded her a few words and let her go.
Just when Aurelia was wondering, something big happened in the school!
She looked at the school’s WhatsApp public account in astonishment. A trending post came in with a notification that Callum would come to be a lecturer for a period of time.
“Aurelia, did you see that? Mr. Finnegan is coming to our school as a lecturer!” Cathy held up her cell phone and excitedly nudged Aurelia, who was standing there in a daze.
Aurelia came back to her senses and nodded absentmindedly. Why did she have such a bad feeling?
A trace of fear suddenly flashed through her heart. She didn’t even know what she was afraid of.
No. She needed to take a leave of absence for as long as Callum came to give a lecture.
At the principal’s office entrance.
Aurelia stared at the brown wooden door in front of her, wondering why Elliot’s approval for the leave of absence needed more than two days.
Why hadn’t she heard such a regulation before?
Should she just skip classes or go in and ask Elliot for permission to leave?
After minutes of thinking, Aurelia knocked on the office door.
She would rather face Elliot than Callum after Callum found out she skipped classes.
“Come in.” Elliot had been waiting for her for a long time. He knew it from the moment she asked for leave.
“Mr. Richmond!” When she pushed open the office door, Elliot had just finished brewing coffee, and the air was filled with the faint aroma of coffee. Seeing her come in, he pointed to the seat across the table. “Have a seat and take a sip of coffee that Callum gave me.”
Why did she hear Callum’s name everywhere?
Also, why was Elliot so nice to everyone?
Aurelia walked in but didn’t sit down. She didn’t come here to drink coffee but to ask for leave. “Mr. Richmond.”
“I heard that the coffee is very good. Aurelia, you won’t want to miss it.”

Then a cup of cappuccino was placed in front of her. Aurelia couldn’t refuse the hospitality and had to sit down.
She picked up the cappuccino and took a sip. The aroma of coffee filled her nose. It tasted really good.
Even she, who knew nothing about coffee, loved this coffee instantly.
After finishing one cup, Elliot poured her a second cup and said, “If you like it, I can make you some more.”
“No, thank you, Mr. Richmond. I’m here to ask for leave.” She directly told him her purpose. Elliot’s kindness was driving her crazy.
Elliot noticed the impatience on her face and smiled slightly, his eyes filled with amiability. Aurelia looked confused.
“Callum will be here the day after tomorrow. And he will be a good lecturer. You may benefit a lot from listening to his lectures. It will be of great help to you in the future. If you don’t have anything important to do, don’t ask for leave.”
Elliot was so polite, gentle and refined that Aurelia couldn’t even get angry.
“I don’t want to listen to his lectures. I need to take a week off.” Aurelia didn’t want to beat around the bush and said what she was thinking directly.
Elliot paused and looked at her curiously. “So, you want to take a week off just to avoid him?”
Aurelia nodded.
Elliot laughed when he heard that. It was the first time he saw a woman dislike Callum so much. Aurelia was indeed one of a kind.
“I see.”
His straightforwardness made Aurelia a little confused for a moment, so she asked, “Will you agree?”
Elliot looked up at her before replying, “If I disagree, will you come to the class?”
Elliot was hard to deal with. How did he know her so well?
She had already made up her mind before coming here. Even if Elliot didn’t agree with her request, she would skip classes without permission!
At ZL Group.
Jim walked into the president’s office holding a file bag. “Mr. Finnegan, this is the information you requested.”
Callum put the document away, opened the file Jim gave him, and read all the information. Compared to the one sheet of paper Rory gave him before, Jim handed in more than 5 sheets.
Finally, he asked Jim, “How did she and Rory know each other?”
“According to the investigation, it seems that Rory had met Mrs. Finnegan when she came to see you before. And they have not had any interactions since then, whether in business or personal matters.”
Callum lit a cigarette and continued to ask, “What’s her relationship with Briar?”
His gaze fell on Aurelia’s hobbies and weaknesses, which he had specifically asked Jim to investigate. She was afraid of snakes and the dark… She looked really brave on the surface, but Callum didn’t expect she would be afraid of so many things!
Jim couldn’t help laughing when he thought about how Aurelia’s classmates answered. They all answered affirmatively. “They’re just friends. Nothing more.”
“Okay, I understand. You may leave now.”
“Yes, Mr. Finnegan!”
Jim turned around and heard Callum add, “I don’t want to see Rory for two years.”
Jim felt sorry for the poor Rory.
Today was Callum’s first day of lecturing at Evercrest College. When he came back from morning exercise, showered, and even finished breakfast, he didn’t see Aurelia.
“Alfred, where is she?”
Alfred knew who he was asking and calmly replied, “Mrs. Finnegan took a week off from school and left to catch a flight early this morning.”
