Chapter 5 Kick Her Out

Book:Please Let Me Go, Mr. Sheridan Published:2024-8-20

Callum scrutinized Aurelia. He recognized that she was the one who kissed him in the bar last time!
He then glanced at the dress on Aidan again, which made Aurelia look older than her actual age. When he picked it for Aidan just now, he just chose it roughly. After she put it on, he had no interest in looking at it again, so he didn’t know whether she looked good in it or not.
Now looking closely, he thought Aurelia was right. The dress Aidan was wearing made her look older and didn’t fit her at all.
For a moment, everyone’s eyes were on Callum, but he just said “hmm” and nothing else.

Aidan looked at the silent Callum with grievance and wanted to say something. However, she was too afraid of him, so she had to give up.
Callum’s assistant, Rory, looked at Aurelia and felt that she was familiar. Finally, an idea came to him. He quickly stepped forward and said, “Mr. Finnegan, she is your…”
However, before Rory could finish his words, he was interrupted by a voice that suddenly increased in volume. “Hey! It’s you!”
Then before Rory could react, he was pulled aside by Aurelia.
Aurelia recalled that Rory helped her get her marriage certificate with Callum. Also, in order to cultivate her relationship with Callum, her father took her to see Callum several times. And Rory was responsible for the reception.
Callum must not know who she was. Otherwise, after what happened last time, coupled with her sudden appearance in front of him this time, Callum would probably think that she was deliberately meeting him to get his attention.
“Mrs…”
“What a coincidence. We meet again!” Aurelia ignored everyone’s puzzled looks, interrupted Rory, and pulled him several meters away from them.
Rory stopped and looked at Aurelia in confusion, “Mrs. Finnegan, what’s wrong? Mr. Finnegan hasn’t met you yet. I need to tell him your identity!”
Aurelia was speechless.
She wanted to laugh at this moment. How ridiculous that they had been married for three years, and they still needed others to introduce them to each other.
If the marriage certificate didn’t really exist, Aurelia really thought she was not married, and didn’t know Callum, the big shot.
Aurelia leaned close to Rory and whispered in his ear, “Listen, Rory. The thing is, I have already asked Alfred to give him the divorce papers I signed, so there is no need for me to get to know him anymore.”
“Divorce papers? Mrs. Finnegan, you want to divorce Mr Finnegan?” Shocked, Rory took a step back and looked at Aurelia in astonishment. If he remembered correctly, Aurelia was six or seven years younger than Callum.
Was she crazy that she took the initiative to file for divorce from Callum, the billionaire?
Aurelia pinched the corner of her clothes and said embarrassedly, “Yes, in order to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings, I still have to trouble you to keep it a secret for us.”

When Rory came back, Callum had just finished paying for Aidan’s lipstick.
His cold eyes stayed on Rory’s slightly dull face for half a second, then swept over Aurelia, who threw herself into Briar’s arms. A sneer appeared at the corner of his lips.
She was indeed not a good woman.
Thinking about how he was kissed by her that day, Callum felt exasperated. “Rory, I don’t care what your relationship with her is. Drive her out of the mall right now. I don’t want to see her in EliteMart!”
Callum didn’t have time to deal with her last time, but he wouldn’t let her off the hook this time!
Rory pulled himself back from his thoughts and followed Callum’s gaze.
Aurelia was holding Briar ‘s arm and acting kittenish with him. “Honey, are you buying me that lipstick? Ahem! I want it too. Look, her boyfriend bought it for her.”
Briar didn’t expect Aurelia to act like a spoiled girl in front of him.
He covered his chest and looked at Aurelia, who was shaking his arm, in despair. “Sheridan Buddy… What’s wrong with you? Don’t scare me!”
Aurelia was acting like a spoiled girl. Looking at other people’s equally horrified expressions, you can see how unbelievable it was.
“Yeah, honey, I… I like this lipstick so much. Please buy it for me!” Aurelia’s smile was already stiff. If Callum wasn’t there, she would be so disgusted that she would vomit.
But it was the only way to gain her freedom. She had to suck it up.
Here was Aurelia’s plan. She took the initiative to kiss Callum, and now she flirted with another man. Once Callum knew her true identity, he would see her as a loose woman. Wouldn’t that make the divorce go more smoothly?
“O-Okay! I’ll buy it.” In order to prevent Aurelia from going insane, Briar bought everything she wanted.
With trembling hands, he took out all the lipsticks in front of him and handed them to the clerk. “Check out please! Hurry up…” Briar couldn’t take it anymore.
After paying the bill, he wanted to take Aurelia to the mental hospital!
Rory was probably the only one who knew that Aurelia was acting. He whispered to Callum, “But, Mr. Finnegan…”
“Rory, Callum has given his order. What are you waiting for?” Hearing Callum’s words made Aidan feel relieved, so she interrupted with a smug face. She thought Callum drove Aurelia out because of her.
She thought she was special to Callum.
“But Mr. Finnegan, she is…” The person Callum wanted to drive away was her wife! Was he sure he wouldn’t regret it?
A sharp gaze swept over him. Rory said nothing this time and immediately ordered the bodyguards behind him. “Quick. Get them out!”
Aurelia has been paying attention to the movement here. She heard that Callum wanted to kick them out. It all happened so fast. Actually, she didn’t want to buy these lipsticks!
“We won’t bother Mr. Finnegan’s people. Let’s leave now, guys!” Aurelia took the lipsticks that the clerk was going to ring them up and put them back. She didn’t forget to turn around and pull Briar and Liana, who were closest to her, to quickly leave.
Looking at Aurelia’s back and her strange behavior made Callum slightly confused.
Aidan glared at Aurelia’s back before adjusting her expression, taking Callum’s arm and speaking softly, “Callum, I’m hungry. Shall we go to the fifth floor of Alioth?”
Callum ordered calmly, “Lead the way!”
Rory shook off all his questions and hurried to the front to lead the way.
At the Merak’s entrance, Aurelia suddenly stopped and looked at Briar before saying, “Briar, you said you wanted to go to the fifth floor of Alioth?”
Briar was taken aback. “I’m just saying. I’ve spent all my money on video games, so I can’t afford to treat you today!”
“It’ll be my treat!”
