Chapter 6 We Can’t Afford to Offend Him

Hearing Aurelia’s words made Briar collapse exaggeratedly in Larry’s arms, “Larry, Sheridan Buddy… Is she possessed?”
Larry felt the same way, since Aurelia had been acting weird today.
Cathy stomped Briar’s foot calmly and said, “Aurelia is also a woman. There’s nothing wrong with acting like a spoiled child. Besides, given her mysterious background, I’m sure she has enough money to treat us to a big meal on Alioth’s fifth floor.”
Briar thought it made sense, so he jumped up and started straightening his clothes. However… “It’s possible to treat us to a meal, but we can’t just go there whenever we want. We need to make a reservation in advance. It’s already dinner time, so there might not have any place available now.”
It was not that he doubted Aurelia. What Briar said was indeed the truth.
When his father invited guests to a banquet here, he had to make reservations a week, half a month, or even three months in advance!
Aurelia was also worried at the moment. She didn’t come up with this idea until she saw Callum take another woman out for shopping and buy things for her.
The lipstick set she just mentioned was 13, 000 dollars. Including the handbags Rory was carrying, if she guessed correctly, the total came out to at least millions of dollars!
Callum gave her a lot of money every month, but she thought that she didn’t need so much money, so she only took a small amount every time. Though Alfred had saved the rest for her, she never asked him for more money.
Aurelia had never bought herself such expensive things, but Callum paid for Aidan simply by her words. As Mrs. Finnegan, why should she save money and look out for him? What was the point of saving money for him?
It was time for a divorce anyway, so why not take this time to enjoy life as Mrs. Finnegan?
Glancing at her good friends who were talking about going to the fifth floor of Alioth, Aurelia felt that it was worth treating them to a big meal.
Okay!
She took out her cell phone and called Alfred.
A minute later, Aurelia ended the call and turned around. The people who were having a heated discussion all looked at her in surprise.
She said calmly, “Let’s go.”
“Where are you going?” Liana asked cautiously.
She smiled and said, “Like I said, I’ll treat you to a big meal!”
Ten minutes later.
On Alioth 5th Floor.
As Aurelia was waiting for the waiter to confirm the reservation, the elevator door on the fifth floor opened.
The domineering aura emanating from the man, who showed up in front of her, made it impossible to ignore him.
Aurelia clutched her chest in frustration. Before she mentioned divorce, it was hard to see Callum. But since she mentioned it, this was the third time they had met!
This time, she couldn’t help but suspect whether Callum deliberately appeared in front of her in an attempt to attract her attention and save their marriage.
“Kick her out.”
These three simple words brought Aurelia back to her senses.
The management of the mall wiped his sweat and explained awkwardly, “Mr. Finnegan, these are the guests arranged by Alfred.”
Hearing Alfred’s name, Callum glanced at Aurelia’s friends. “Rory, just get this woman out!”
Aidan, who had not dared to say much, almost laughed out loud at this moment. She was now convinced that Callum targeted Aurelia because of her.
Rory was puzzled. Callum obviously didn’t know Aurelia, so why did he keep targeting her? Why did he hate her so much?
That was strange.
Callum lost his patience after waiting for Rory to make any move within half a minute. He cast a sharp look at Rory. “Rory, you can’t even handle such a small matter?”
Rory was terrified. “No, Mr. Finnegan. She is…”
As if knowing what Rory was going to say next, Aurelia blinked at him desperately and begged him not to say it through eye contact.
Callum misunderstood that Aurelia was flirting with Rory. It turned out that she and Rory also had a relationship. He sneered, “Rory, you can’t judge people by appearance. Some people appear pure on the surface, but they do have ulterior motives.. If I married someone like her, I would definitely jump down from here.”
Rory was confused.
Why would Callum get into a fight with a woman in public? Didn’t he hate dealing with women?
Aurelia gritted her teeth. Was she being humiliated in public?
When she was picked on, she was never afraid of fighting back, so she immediately flared up. “Callum, I did kiss you last night, but that was an accident. How can you target me like this? It’s fine to kick me out once, but you’re going to kick me out twice. Do you think the whole EliteMart belongs to you?”
Obviously, she was the one who was taken advantage. That was her first kiss! Even though he was her husband, so what?
Liana and Briar pulled her sleeves hard. Briar reminded her softly, Aurelia, stop it! We can’t afford to offend Mr. Finnegan!”
Could he humiliate her just because she couldn’t afford to offend him? “Sorry that I am such a loose woman. If I defile you, you can jump down from here, Mr. Finnegan.”
He couldn’t deny the fact that they were married!
After Aurelia’s clear voice fell, the entire floor fell silent.
Some people wondered if Aurelia had gone insane. How dare she say that she kissed Callum and wanted him to die?
The management guy wanted to kick Aurelia out right away, but since Rory didn’t move, he didn’t dare to make any rash decisions.
After all, he didn’t know Callum’s temper as well as Rory’s.
After Aidan heard the word “kiss”, she gritted her teeth and cast a murderous gaze on Aurelia. At this moment, she wanted to strip this woman naked and let the bodyguards throw her out. She was able to be with Callum today only because of her grandfather.
Kiss? Even just touching him would take Aidan a lot of courage.
Rory finally couldn’t help but cover his face in frustration. There was probably no one in the world more ignorant than Aurelia. Actually, EliteMart did belong to Callum. Since they hadn’t divorced yet, the mall was a marital property, which meant it partly belonged to her too!
Cathy, who admired Callum, quickly stopped drooling when she heard Aurelia’s words and said in a trembling voice, “Aurelia, EliteMart does belong to Mr. Finnegan.”
Silent, Aurelia was stunned when she heard that. After a long while, she asked stupidly, “What did you just say?”
