But Rachel could not fathom how Bella had found her way here, and even made her way to her Mini perfumery, she still could not believe her friend was here, she had always felt lonely and alone among these new faces.
They never treated her as equal, they were always formal and respective towards her, she was always tired of telling them so he left them.
But was like a sister to her since her time I’m new York she had always been supportive of her.
“Bella! You are here!” Rachel exclaimed, a mix of surprise and elation in her voice.
Bella beamed, her eyes reflecting the joy of their reunion. ” yeah, I missed you so much all these months, I thought I was going insane without seeing you’ ‘ she said in their hug before pulling away.
“It’s really unbelievable, how were you able to find me here?” She asked her the question she always wanted to ask, she knew her and told her she was in las Vegas during one of their calls but she never gave a full description of where she was.
She smiled at her, “well Zech was so thoughtful of you, that he sent me here, seeing how lonely you were around your new employees”. She said in a mocking way as she smiled at her.
Rachel’s heart skipped a beat. She couldn’t believe he could be this attentive to the things she needed, she felt an inexplicable emotion in her heart.
She could see herself forgiving him for his actions, but she still wanted him to suffer a little bit more. He deserved it, seeing what eh and put her through.
She couldn’t ignore the unsettling feeling that stirred within her whenever she thought of him. But now was not the time to dwell on her emotions.
Before Rachel could delve deeper into her emotions, Zech excused himself from the room, giving the two friends some privacy. Bella wasted no time in getting down to business.
“Well since you are here, we might as well finish what we started back at the company, I was preparing to do it, i hope you are up for a round” she said excitedly.
“I thought you would never ask, I did more research, and I am sure with our knowledge we would succeed, let shake the world baby”.
“We have to create the cure for the monoberry poison, no matter what it takes.” Rachel said with determination as she looks at Bella who had the same determination as her.
Bella nodded, her expression serious. “I am with you all the way, Rachel.”
Together, they delved into their work, poring over research notes, analyzing data, and conducting experiments.
The cure for the monoberry poison , a rare and very lethal poison to man. She needed a cure. She owed it to her mother. She didn’t want people to lose their loved ones to this anymore.
But Rachel had discovered a potential breakthrough, a combination of natural compounds that held promise.
As they worked tirelessly, the atmosphere in the lab crackled with energy. Test tubes clinked, microscopes hummed, and the scent of chemicals filled the air.
Rachel’s mind was focused, her determination unwavering. She believed they were on the brink of a significant discovery.
However, as the hours stretched on, Rachel’s weariness began to catch up with her. Fatigue seeped into her bones, and a sudden dizziness overwhelmed her senses.
She reached out to steady herself, but it was futile. Darkness engulfed her vision, and her body went limp.
“Rachel!” Bella heard herself cry out, her voice filled with panic”.
As soon as she began yo panic, she saw a vague memory of children palying in the woods, she wondered who they were, suddenly she heard Rachel’s name being called but a young boy among them, but she never saw the face of any of them.
She began to wonder how could she heard Rachel’s name in her memory, they was no way she would have known Rachel as a child, they only just met a few months ago, so how could she be in her memory.
She looked at Rachel’s face she suddenly felt so famailar to her, she tried to snap out of the pain and focus on the present situation at hand. “Zech Zech” she screamed again
Zech, who had been nearby, rushed into Rachel’s office, his eyes widening with alarm as he took in the scene. He wondered what could have been the cause for her to faint, he blamed himself for not taking enough care of her.
If he had not pushed her away back then all this would never have had to happen, he was to scared to admit his feeling that he hurt someone else in the process, realizeimg his feelings it was already too late, seeing she left in a very hurt state
Without hesitation, he moved swiftly, towards her and shaked her slighlty “Rachel Rachel, open your eyes” he said.
“What happened?” Zech’s voice was urgent, his eyes scanning the room for any clues.
“I don’t know,” Bella stammered, tears welling up in her eyes. “She was fine, and then… sudeenly she just fainted, she was fine a moment ago what went wrong.”
Zech’s expression hardened as he assessed the situation. “We need to get her to the medical bay. It is not safe for her here”. He was not going to lose her she was a normal human so she could get hurt at any time.
He said and lifted Rachel into her arms to carry her away, but the voice he heard, I was famailar with him, it wac his rival.
A cold stern voice echoed in the air loudly, “Give her to me”.
