Twenty days later, in the underground area of the Ztatzav Orphanage,
“When are we getting out of this prison?” A beautiful girl seemed to be wailing because she could no longer stand in the detention room. However, her question was not answered because she was the only one in the room. Meanwhile, the other four teenagers were in a separate area, where they had lost hope of living, as seen from their respective expressions.
“Hey, why are you not answering me?” The young woman shouted so that all her friends could hear her voice. No one intended to answer because the other four children chose to act indifferent so as not to extend the same conversation topic, which would be boring for them.
“Frazto, Drutz, Shul, and Drena. Why are you silent? Are you deaf, or are you sleeping?” The girl named Odessa mentioned the names of her friends one by one, hoping that someone would respond to her words, but this did not work.
“You guys are really annoying!” That young girl screamed again, frustrated with the actions of her four friends, who seemed to think they weren’t in the basement. Odessa was forced to remain silent because she had given up on her situation, and it felt genuinely torturous.
A teenage girl, who was always jealous of the beauty of the only daughter of the couple, Tristian Varden Writh and Lavena Isolda Keira, also remembered her rival, even though Alexa never considered her a rival.
“This is all because of Alexa! I will never forgive her for making us suffer like this,” muttered Odessa, full of hatred. She clenched her right fist as if she was going to punch the chestnut brown-haired woman. Even though, in reality, they were in different places.
Odessa was initially sitting on the cold floor and changed her position to lying down. She looked helpless because she was still locked in a room that all the children in the orphanage hated, but because of her own stupidity, the virgin and her group had to languish there for a period of one month.
“When will all this end? I can’t count the days because it hurts so much. I hope a miracle comes soon,” muttered Odessa, crying in silence.
The detention rooms’ atmosphere turned quiet because Odessa was no longer making noise. A cold wind began to blow there because it came in from a small window located very far above. Drena tried to keep herself warm by hugging herself, and she shivered because of it.
Sunlight entered the underground room, but the light was not very bright because the sun was covered by clouds outside, and the sky looked gray. All of this seems to be a sign that it will rain soon. The three young men did not sleep, but they endured hunger. However, Frazto, Drutz, and Shul realized that complaining would not solve anything, so they kept quiet.
“Hopefully, someone will come here soon and bring us lunch. I am already hungry,” said Frazto, quietly. The teenage guy held his stomach, which was starting to hurt, but he was helpless with the situation that was there.
Thirty-five minutes later, five women came down to the basement, carrying a container containing a plate containing food and a glass of water. Odessa and her friends had not yet noticed their presence because they were lying down and away from the door. The five teenagers tried to forget the excruciating hunger, although this action was not one hundred percent successful.
The five women seemed to walk deliberately in silence and tried hard not to make the slightest sound. They split up so that each of them stood in a detention room which was already filled with bullies, the messenger of Goddess Magia. None of them dared to speak yet, as if waiting for a signal from a black-haired woman in the middle.
“It is time for lunch! Bring your empty plate and glass here! We will not wait for you!”
This sound excited the three young guy, who were already hungry. As soon as possible, they got up from their original position and then hurriedly took the empty plates and glasses according to the woman’s orders. Drena and Odessa also heard this announcement but were not as happy as Frazto, Drutz, and Shul. The two young girls also did the same thing as their friends, who were already at the door.
Frazto, Drutz, and Shul were very happy because they had finally gotten new food, and the portions looked large after exchanging an empty plate and glass with the woman waiting outside the detention room. They did not grumble and immediately ate their food with hearts full of gratitude, while Odessa was still irritated by the punishment she had to receive because this meant she was not free to go anywhere.
“Ma’am, may I know when we will be free from here?” asked the one hundred and sixty eight centimeters tall woman. Odessa tried to be polite, knowing her position.
“About that, I do not know. You can ask Madame Aufrodine or Loiston directly,” answered the brown-eyed woman. She did not want to interfere with the other person’s problems because she had received an advance message from Apple and preferred to take an empty plate and glass, which, as soon as possible, exchanged for the new one, which definitely contained food and drink.
“Can you please ask her? I can’t possibly ask her.” Odessa asked and politely asked because she knew very well that her chance of doing so was minimal. However, the black-haired woman shook her head, which dampened the poor girl’s hopes.
“No, I can’t.” After the woman answered without further ado, she turned around and followed her four other friends.
Slowly, the five women, whose only job was to provide food and drink to Odessa and her four friends, climbed the stairs and disappeared from there. The twelve-year-old girl chuckled in annoyance because she had not convinced the person she was talking to.
“Tch! How is this? I do not want to be in this cursed place forever!” Odessa cursed and ignored the food and drink that had been given to her. Drena felt disturbed because she could not stand hearing her female friend’s complaints about making the dining atmosphere terrible.
“Odessa, instead of getting angry, you would better eat first. Even grumbling requires a lot of energy.” A young man’s voice was heard, which attracted the attention of Drena and the owner of the name to the opposite sex.
“Shut up, Frazto!” The beautiful teenage girl was emotional because she felt her male friend was advising her.
“You are very selfish, Odessa! Not only do you deserve peace, but WE DO TOO!” The stocky young man became emotional and spontaneously shouted at the person he was talking to. Frazto was furious because his kind words were misinterpreted by a woman who hated Alexa, so the young man could not stand it, and his emotions were provoked.
The two other young men understood what Frazto was feeling. Still, they could not intervene directly because, from the first day, it seemed as if Madame Loiston had deliberately placed the five teenagers in different rooms. “Enough, Odessa. You have gone too far. Eat your lunch and be quiet!” Drutz spoke to the opposite sex in a slightly raised tone.
“Why isn’t anyone defending me? Drena!” The blonde girl was trying to find an ally, so she accidentally mentioned another girl’s name in the hope that Drena would protect her. However, the owner of the name rolled her eyes because he was too lazy to be dragged into the drama created by Odessa.
“He was right. Please be quiet. Your scolding does not change anything because we will still be here and will not necessarily be released by Madame Loiston within a month.” A girl who was the same age as Odessa chimed in, and she was already pessimistic about her own future.
“You guys are really assholes!” Odessa screamed like crazy, which her four friends ignored.
“Just let that crazy woman scream! Do not let any of you answer her.” The young guy said that because he was fed up with Odessa’s arbitrary actions. Frazto, Drutz, Shul, and Drena remained silent without being given any further instructions. They heard the blonde girl’s screams, which were so loud.
“I hope Odessa dies or just goes crazy. She has really troubled us all.” Drena muttered quietly and chose to eat the food on the floor.
Frazto, Drutz, and Shul continued eating lunch, even though they were very annoyed to hear all Odessa’s seemingly endless chatter. Twenty minutes later, the green-eyed woman stopped carrying out her crazy actions so that the four other teenagers in their respective detention rooms were relieved. Odessa was thirsty because she had been screaming non-stop.
A slender girl took a glass of water that was on the floor and then drank it slowly. Odessa was distraught because she did not get what she wanted, namely the certainty of getting out of the detention room, which had made her almost crazy.
“I have to get out of here and take revenge on Alexa!” said Odessa, holding back the already unbearable anger.
