Inside the library at the Ztatzav Orphanage,
“I… I do not want to make a scene here, Madame Oislon,” replied the green-eyed girl.
She had stuttered a little when she said so, fearing the attitude of the person in charge of the library. Meanwhile, Alexa and Aiden looked at each other, though they did not say a word. The atmosphere became even more awkward, and a chill ran down the skin of everyone there.
“Are you sure? I saw by myself that you did insult Alexa again. Did you forget that whoever is already here is forbidden to make noise? You have been caught red-handed, still lying!” The bespectacled woman asked in a low tone but frightened the bully of her four friends, knowing the mistake that had been made. Madame Oislon did not seem to let go of her sharp gaze at the young girl.
“Ye… yes. I am… sure. Please forgive us, Madame.” The blonde-haired virgin could not help but feel a sense of dread. Her four companions could not help at all, as they also felt the same way with her.
Madame Oislon turned her attention towards the hazel-eyed girl and the silver-haired boy who remained silent and had not left the library area. The two kept an eye on what was happening, with no intention of having a conversation at all. “Are you okay, Alexa?”
A beautiful girl, who was the only daughter of the couple, Tristian Varden Writh and Lavena Isolda Keira, nodded. At the same time, the skinny man nearby kept observing what was happening in the area. “I am fine, Madame Oislon. Thank you.”
“Would you like to borrow a book or need anything?”
“Not at the moment, Madame. I was going to do my homework here but remembered that I forgot to bring a quill and a bottle of ink, so I decided to go back to my room.”
“Very well then. You and Aiden can go.”
“Thank you, Madame Oislon.”
Without wasting any time, the messenger of the Goddess Magia and the twelve-year-old boy immediately left the place, while Odessa and her four friends still remained there. They could only surrender, knowing that they would soon be punished by the person in charge of the library.
When they were outside the place, about twenty meters away, the handsome young man stopped walking and looked back. Such an action caused the opposite sex to be stunned and do the same, as he did not understand the purpose of his new friend. In less than a minute, Aiden turned back to the slender girl. “Alexa, if Odessa and her friends are bullying you, then do not hesitate to fight back. Do not let them bully you all the time.”
Alexa was stunned by what she had just heard. The virgin was dumbfounded, having never expected Aiden to say such a thing. “Why are you saying that all of a sudden? What happened?” the thin-lipped woman asked.
The young man looked at the interlocutor seriously. Alexa did not understand why her friend would be like that, but the chosen one still waited for the opposite sex’s answer. “I know you have always been insulted by people, so they are afraid to get close to you, but that does not mean you condone the bad deeds of Odessa or anyone who acts like her,” Aiden replied, frowning.
“Thank you for your advice, Aiden. I do not have any friends, so you, Sam, Aileen, and Adaline are my only friends. For a long time, if someone bullied me, I would rather keep quiet because it is useless to fight back. They would conspire to hurt me.” Alexa did not deny that the girl was afraid to stand up for herself if she was treated badly because of her lack of support. Aiden was silent for a few seconds, then shook his head once.
“No! Do not be like that! Show Odessa and her friends that you are a strong girl. Do not ever be afraid to fight back so that everyone knows what they are doing is wrong.” Aiden was annoyed by Alexa’s passivity, so he became irritated with the granddaughter of Sir Elmer Louis Writh and Madame Phoenix Lily Katira.
Alexa was touched by the annoyance of the young man, who was one of her new friends. She was happy that this was the first time someone had stood up for her and cared, even though the other person’s face looked unhappy. Just as the girl was about to speak, she suddenly remembered the incident in the library, and that moment gave rise to a new idea, which she had to express to Aiden immediately. “I will try to do your advice. Do not forget to inform me about that book.”
Aiden was stunned by the last sentence uttered by the quiet woman. He had almost forgotten about The Top Secret Book and their goal. “Thank you, Alexa. I will let you know if I get any new leads. Do not worry.”
The conversation ended. Both the girl and the boy were at a loss for words. Both were silent, as if they were thinking about something but were reluctant to tell anyone else. After a few minutes of awkward silence, the grey-eyed man said to Goddess Magia’s Messenger, who was still silent. “I have to go now. Take care, Alexa.”
“You are welcome. You too.” Aiden simply nodded, then left.
Alexa watched the young man leave until he was out of sight. The twelve-year-old girl started walking in the other direction with a million questions in her heart. The mysterious woman who had met the young man was silent. She continued to follow Alexa, and no normal human could see her.
Aiden’s words were true, but who would help if I was hurt? I wish I was not an orphan so no one would underestimate me, but it was too late. Hopefully, there will be less bullying after this, although I am not sure about that, thought Alexa, who continued to walk to her destination.

After walking for a while, the virgin finally arrived at her destination. The atmosphere around there was so quiet, even though it should not have been. Such a moment made Alexa feel strange, and she spontaneously looked around. There was no change at all. Only emptiness and a strange aura made the atmosphere very tense.
“It is weird. Why are there no other people in this area? Have they all left, or is there something else? Ah, never mind. It is probably just that the other kids have not wanted to go back to their rooms yet,” she muttered softly.
The Chosen One just shook her head, then started to open the door in front of her and entered there. A strange woman who had been following the young lady had not left. She was even in the same room as the target in silence, as if she had intentionally done so. Meanwhile, Alexa continued to the study table, and when she arrived, the girl pulled out a dull wooden chair and sat down.
“I have to do my homework,” Alexa said to herself, which was more like encouraging herself. Amidst the silence in the room, as soon as possible, the girl who had opened a book was stunned because she felt an abnormal air that was so obvious that it made her alert, although she did not know why this happened.
“What was wrong with me? Why did this strange cold air even enter my room? Is there a ghost? Ah, it is impossible. I have lived in the orphanage for so long and have never met any ghosts.”
Just as the girl finished speaking, the atmosphere inside Alexa’s room slowly became very cold, which made the long-haired woman shiver. “Something is not right here. Why am I even cold? Could it be that there is a strange woman in my room that Aiden told me about?”
“Alexa.” The mystical voice sounded faint, but it managed to frighten the name’s owner.
“Who… who are you?” Alexa asked nervously, so she stuttered a little when she spoke.
The young woman began to look around, but no strange figure was there. A feeling of dread still dominated her, but Alexa knew she could not do anything about it. A woman with three faces, three bodies, and three pairs only smiled briefly, seeing the target’s funny reaction. However, she seemed to understand why the virgin had acted this way.
“Do not be afraid. I will not hurt you. I will continue to protect you, no matter what happens in this place.”
“How can I know that you are not doing me any harm? Can I trust you? If I can, who is your name?” For some reason, Alexa asked the other person three questions, all to cover up the feeling of fear in her heart. Meanwhile, the invisible woman smiled again because the distance between them was very small, but the girl, who had a height of one hundred and seventy centimetres tall, did not notice.
“I made a promise, so it must be kept. You should not be afraid of me either because someday, we will-”
