Chapter 462: Break His Leg!

Book:Fallen Heir Rising Published:2024-8-11

After slapping Master Anthony, Quentin couldn’t be bothered with them anymore. Master Anthony, though seething with anger, couldn’t fight back and had to swallow his rage.
“Attention passengers, the flight has arrived over Jiangbei Cloudmere and is preparing to land. Please return to your seats. Thank you for your cooperation.”
Upon hearing the announcement, Quentin and his group returned to their compartments. Before leaving, Master Anthony gave Quentin a sinister smile.
“Once we get off the plane, you’ll spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair!”
“Your leg is as good as broken!” Master Anthony had already imagined Quentin’s miserable state after disembarking.
In the Northeast Airport hall, Tyree Barker and several bodyguards had been waiting for a long time. Beside them stood a middle-aged man with an air of arrogance, surrounded by subordinates exuding a deadly aura.
He wore a formal suit, his presence imposing and spirited like an unmovable mountain. His authoritative gaze made it difficult for anyone to meet his eyes.
He was Otto Vance, the War King of the Northeast War Zone and Quentin’s subordinate. They had once fought side by side on the battlefield, protecting the people of Striudan.
“War King, why are you personally here at the airport? Is some important person arriving?” Tyree Barker asked curiously.
“Don’t ask what you shouldn’t,” Otto Vance replied coldly, making Tyree Barker feel awkward and silenced.
Soon, passengers began to disembark.
Master Anthony emerged, accompanied by Quentin and Eileen. Master Anthony shot them another sinister smile.
“Dad!” Master Anthony ran over to Tyree Barker.
“Son, you’re here.”
“Who hit you?”
“It was them!” Tyree Barker followed Master Anthony’s pointing finger to Quentin and Eileen.
Otto walked over and bowed deeply to Quentin, leaving Tyree Barker and his son stunned.
“General Quincy, you’ve had a tiring journey!”
Otto spoke respectfully. Seeing Quentin and Eileen brought back memories of their battles on the battlefield.
“There are too many eyes here. Just call me Mr. Holland. You’ve been living well, I see.”
“That’s all thanks to your support.”
Quentin’s teasing made Otto a bit embarrassed.
“Stop being so formal. Really, call him Mr. Holland,” Eileen said sternly.
“Oh right, Mr. Holland,” Otto replied with a silly smile, thinking that Eileen was still as fierce as ever.
Seeing Otto being so respectful and friendly with Quentin made Tyree Barker and his son panic. Even a fool could see that Quentin’s identity was extraordinary.
At that moment, Quentin looked over and gave them a meaningful smile, sending chills down their spines.
“You two, come here,” Otto commanded solemnly. The two dared not disobey and walked over.
Tyree Barker and his son were drenched in sweat, fearing Quentin’s wrath.
“Master Anthony, didn’t you say you’d break my leg after we got off the plane?” Quentin smiled slightly, but it was terrifying.
“Nonsense! How dare you be so disrespectful to Mr. Holland! Are you looking for death?” Otto’s eyes blazed with anger, making Tyree Barker and his son tremble.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Holland. It’s my fault for not teaching my son properly. Please forgive this ungrateful child.”
“Apologize to Mr. Holland immediately!”
Tyree Barker pleaded humbly with Quentin and glared at Master Anthony.
Quentin, whom even Otto respected, could easily destroy Barker Group in an instant.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Holland. It was my fault for being disrespectful. I didn’t recognize your greatness. Please forgive me.”
Despite his inner reluctance, Master Anthony had no choice but to bow his head. If Quentin held a grudge, he would be doomed.
“I’m a reasonable person. I believe in clear distinctions between right and wrong.”
“Since you said you’d break my leg, I’ll just break one of yours.”
“Director Huang, do you think that’s fair?”
Quentin’s words made everyone shiver and gasp, especially Master Anthony, who was almost about to wet himself.
No one expected this big shot to be so ruthless. Eileen and Otto were already used to it and weren’t surprised.
“It’s fair.”
Given the situation, Tyree Barker didn’t dare say otherwise. If he didn’t comply with Quentin’s wishes, his son might suffer more than just a broken leg.
“Should I do it myself or will you?”
Quentin asked calmly.
“It’s my fault for not teaching my son properly. No need to trouble you, Mr. Holland. I’ll do it myself.”
“Bring me an iron rod!”
A bodyguard quickly fetched an iron rod for Tyree Barker.
“Dad, no! Please don’t!”
Master Anthony screamed in terror.
“This is all your own doing.”
Tyree Barker suppressed his pain and swung the iron rod hard at Master Anthony’s right leg, the sound of breaking bones piercingly loud.
“Ah!”
The pain made Master Anthony faint instantly.
Tyree Barker was heartbroken but had no choice.
He blamed himself for spoiling Master Anthony too much, making him arrogant and troublesome. Unfortunately, he provoked someone like Quentin who should never be provoked.
It was truly retribution!
The commotion shocked everyone at the airport. Seeing a director of Barker Group break his own son’s leg left them wondering what the world had come to.
Without sparing them a glance, Quentin left the airport with Otto and others.
Tyree Barker and his son were left behind, unable to express their anger but secretly relieved!
They were lucky; otherwise, if Otto had really gotten angry, no one would have dared to seek justice for them even if they were killed on the spot!
