Upon hearing Charlotte’s offensive words, Harriet’s face turned red, and her lips trembled with anger.
Even though she had explained it before, Charlotte still didn’t believe her and referred to them as “miss”.
Stephanie stubbornly retorted, “That’s right, we greatly admire Mr. Clark and willingly sleep with him without him paying for the hotel.”
“What’s it to you? Mind your own business!” she realized that Charlotte was just being unreasonable and had deep conflicts with Flynn.
No matter how much you explain to someone like her, she will never believe the truth.
Charlotte’s face darkened when she heard Stephanie’s sharp words and couldn’t help but sneer, “Wow, am I hearing correctly? A piece of trash who spent ten years in prison is being called ‘mister’?”
“This world is crazy!”
Flynn furrowed his eyebrows and coldly said, “If I remember correctly, your family won’t receive any dividends for the next five years. Yet you still have money to shop at a jewelry store. You must have made quite a lot in these past few years!”
Charlotte’s face turned black upon hearing this, almost exploding with anger.
On Paulina’s birthday, Flynn used Marcel’s contract as a threat to force Frank to deprive Charlotte’s family of five years’ worth of dividends.
Causing them to lose millions.
Max was so angry he almost needed hospitalization.
In front of everyone, Charlotte even knelt down in front of Flynn until he finished his meal.
She had lost all face.
She cried in frustration all day long.
Every time she thought about these things, she became furious and wished she could tear Flynn apart.
But the more she cursed Flynn, the more prosperous his life became, leaving Charlotte constantly frustrated.
“Flynn, your pride won’t last long.” Charlotte sneered and hooked her arm around the handsome man’s arm, saying:
“Can you see my designer outfit? Chance Carlyle bought it for me!”
“No dividends? So what? I’m still living a lavish life!”
“I live in a big house, buy expensive handbags, and even a meal costs thousands of dollars!”
“Aren’t you angry?”
“Heh… as someone as beautiful as me, I can live well without relying on the Kaur family!”
“But you… without a master to protect you, you’re nothing!”
Flynn narrowed his eyes upon hearing this and a cold gleam flashed in his eyes.
Harriet saw Flynn’s dark expression and quickly grabbed his arm, saying:
“Mr. Clark, the second necklace you tried on earlier also looks good. Why don’t you give that one to her and I’ll take the second one?”
She knew Flynn’s capabilities and dealing with Charlotte would be as easy as pie. But the man next to him seemed important and Harriet was afraid that Flynn would provoke a powerful family. She wanted to advise Flynn that it was better to avoid unnecessary trouble.
Stephanie wasn’t as timid as Harriet; she was already boiling with anger because of Charlotte.
Pointing at the necklace, she said to the salesperson, “I bought this necklace. Please wrap it up!”
Charlotte sneered, “I already said that I want this necklace!”
“First come first served. We saw it first. Why should we give it to you?” Stephanie questioned with an irritated face.
Charlotte snorted and threw a card on the table with endless arrogance, “Because I’m a VIP member here!”
“Look at your outfit; everything you’re wearing isn’t worth a thousand dollars. Do you think you deserve to compete with me?”
“This necklace costs nearly twenty thousand; you would have to serve hundreds of customers just to earn it back.”
“You’re just a miss who spends most of her day naked. What use do you have for your mother’s necklace?”
Stephanie’s face turned red with anger and she raised her hand to hit Charlotte.
“Do you dare touch her?” Chance spoke up at this moment with a hint of fierceness and contempt in his voice.
As if Stephanie wouldn’t be able to bear the consequences if she laid a hand on Charlotte.
Stephanie was frightened and tears welled up in her eyes. Harriet also felt wronged.
“Haven’t you heard what my girlfriend said? Wrap up this necklace!” Chance commanded the salesperson arrogantly.
The salesperson didn’t dare delay and quickly started packaging the necklace while saying to Chance, “Mr. Carlyle, please wait; I’ll wrap it up for you right away.”
Charlotte was extremely pleased with herself when she saw this and raised an eyebrow mockingly, “That’s right! Hurry up and wrap it; I’m going to give it to my Schnauzer.”
Harriet burst into tears upon hearing this; she felt humiliated.
A Schnauzer is a dog!
Charlotte bought this necklace for a dog!
Isn’t this humiliation?
“Oh, Miss has quite thick skin; why are you crying?” Charlotte continued smiling mischievously and turned to Flynn:
“Do you see? This is my life. Not only am I living luxuriously but even my dog is better off than you trash!”
“Flatter me well; soon enough, you’ll be worse than a dog and can only beg me for some bones!”
Soon enough?
Flynn couldn’t understand what Charlotte was saying nor did he want to delve into it. He let go of Harriet’s hand and coldly said:
“You’re too weak. When dealing with scum like Charlotte, even if you back down, she will bite like a mad dog.”
“You have to hit back hard against people like her!”
“Until she learns to respect others!”
Charlotte didn’t care at all and sneered, “Oh, so now you want to hit me again?”
“That’s all you’re capable of.”
“Don’t forget whose territory this is!”
“Do you know who this person beside me is?”
“Clerk, tell him!”
The salesperson immediately flattered him and said, “Mr. Carlyle is the young master of our K Jewelry. I advise you not to cause trouble here!”
“The Chandler family is part of the Niarak elite; their wealth is nearly billions. You people can’t afford to provoke them!”
Chance stood there proudly as if he were the ruler of the world. His eyes carried disdain when looking at people.
The salesperson continued, “Not only is Miss Kaur Mr. Carlyle’s girlfriend but even if other wealthy people came here, we wouldn’t sell anything to you people because you lack ability!”
Chance nodded at the salesperson and said, “You’re right; my family’s jewelry store operates under prestigious brands.”
“Wealthy people are potential customers; in situations like this one should prioritize catering to the rich.”
“Poor people like them won’t bring any profit; they can’t even afford anything worth less than a hundred thousand.”
Stephanie was boiling with anger but felt helpless at the same time.
If she had power and influence, she would definitely slap Charlotte and Chance across their faces.
Make them kneel down and apologize.
But she had no money or power!
The salesperson happily nodded upon hearing praise from the young master and their attitude became even more obsequious. They turned their face towards Flynn with an angry expression:
“Haven’t you heard? Get lost quickly! Don’t obstruct Miss Kaur’s view!”
Chance smiled and looked at Flynn. “You’ve offended my girlfriend before. Here’s what we can do: all three of you kneel down for her and I’ll give each of you one piece of jewelry for free.”
“Or choose any jewelry worth less than one hundred thousand from our store.”
Upon hearing this statement, people around them couldn’t help but gasp in surprise.
“No wonder they’re from Niarak Jewelry Family; they speak so grandly.”
“Oh my god! Such good luck! If it were me I would definitely kneel.”
“Mr. Carlyle is so domineering! He spends so much just for his girlfriend’s face! Miss Kaur is really lucky!”
People around them looked at Charlotte with envy and praised her one after another.
Charlotte felt even more delighted as if she had met her prince charming during her darkest times.
Chance was her recent friend.
If Madeline didn’t have Nathan, then Charlotte would definitely be the proudest offspring of their family!
Even so, Frank jumped happily exclaiming three times in succession: “The Kaur family is going to soar high.”
Madeline married into the Fletcher family.
Charlotte climbed up into Niarak Jewelry Family again. The Kaur family wouldn’t be able to soar without these connections!
