Gabriella’s POV
“Everyone wanted to see me and pay respect to me as the Moon god Luna. I had to find a way to escape from them and sneak into my room. Gosh, this is so tiring.
Opening the door to my room, I took a deep breath and walked straight to the dressing mirror. I took off my clothes, walked naked to the bathroom, and turned on the shower. I kept it running, thinking about the sex we had in the woods.
Finally, I stepped out of the bathroom, and using my wolf sight, I felt Nicklaus’s presence.
“My queen,” he said.
“Yes, dear. It feels so good to be back home again. Everyone wants to see me, so I had to sneak into our room,” I said, letting him know everything that happened.
“I understand. You are the popular Luna, and everyone is talking about you,” he said, and I smiled at him.
“I guess I don’t like being popular, but seeing the way it makes me feel, I will say I love it. But why did you make the celebration last for two days?” I had to ask because I heard from the ladies that he wants to celebrate a party for me for two days. Isn’t that too much?
He hugged me from behind in front of my dressing mirror. “Because it’s for you, my love. You deserve everything, and for your sake, I will always create more balls just for you to be happy.”
“I really do not know how to thank you, but thank you so much.”
“You don’t have to thank me at all. This is my duty, and I am glad I am fulfilling it as well.” He kissed me, and I responded to every touch of his, then Mateo knocked at the door, interrupting us.
“I will see you later, dear,” he said, and I understood he is needed now.
“Okay, dear. I will be waiting.” I kissed him.
“I will not waste time on whatever they are calling me for. I just can’t wait to feel you again.” He winked at me and exited the room.
I guess I need to rest for now. I jumped on the bed, and Leah talked with me.
“Are you really going to meet your sister? What can change your mind?” She asked.
“Nothing can change my mind, Leah. My sister was the only person who was good to me before I met the second phase of my life.”
“I know that, but people also change, you know. We can’t tell her new trait now, and she once got married to Nicklaus. Do you think she will be happy to see the woman who ruined her marriage?”
“Blood is thicker than water, Leah. She will understand that it was a misunderstanding, and I met Nicklaus first, and we are also mates.”
“You are so stubborn, and there is no need to talk to you about it at all.”
I laughed about it and turned on the bed. Continuously, I didn’t see Jessica either, and I didn’t wish to step out now because of the people waiting to meet me. I miss him so much already.
“If you miss him so much, then talk with him.”
“I want to do that, but I can’t interrupt his meeting with his elders.”
“You don’t have to be there physically, but you can actually mind link with him.”
“You mean I can do that?”
“Yes, just try it.”
“Okay, I will do that now.”
“Hey love, are you not done with the pack issues? I am missing you.”
“I will join you shortly, and I also miss you as well.” It worked; I am making use of my abilities already. This is perfect.
“Okay, then I will be waiting. Let us eat lunch together.” I ended the mind link and jumped with excitement. I can’t wait to start doing some new things, and I know there is so much to learn as well. I just can’t wait.
“Relax, Nicklaus is going to teach us everything after the celebration is over.”
“Oh, yes, the celebration. But I need to find a way to step out of this place now without those ladies taking note of it.”
“How do you plan on doing that?”
“I will dress as a commoner and walk past them.”
“You really need to think of something better instead of that, because that plan sucks as hell,” Leah said, and I grumbled. What will I do to bypass those ladies? I know they want to see more of me and ask more questions, but I am not in the mood for that now. I wish Jessica was here, and then I remembered I still have some spells within me, and that’s the solution I have.
All I need to do is make use of these spells to distract them, and then I will take the opportunity to step out immediately without being seen by anyone.
I managed to sneak out of the room and enchanted the spells to make way for me. I rushed to the garden and sat on the floor, closing my eyes and did a spell that would connect me to Margaret.
“Hi, Mom.”
“I can’t believe you learned this message spell; you have done well,” Margaret said to me.
“I can’t do it normally, but I was able to do it because of what I am about to tell you now.”
“What could that be?”
“I shifted into a wolf, Margaret. Everyone calls me the Moon god Luna. Everything you said was true, and I can’t wait till I see you to tell you that’s why I tried the message spell, and it works.”
“Wow, I am so happy for you. Finally, your wish came true.”
“Yes, it is. I think the spell is fading, but it’s good to talk with you even if it’s not up to ten minutes.”
“Me too, and be careful as well.”
“I will.” I felt weak all of a sudden; I guess I must have used so much energy, and I need to rest a little to get myself together again.
I can’t believe I will have to try out different outfits just to attend the first ball in the woods tonight. Gosh, this is so frustrating, I must say.
“Wow, our Luna is so beautiful, I must say. We are so lucky to have you in our pack.”
“Yes, I can’t believe I am here to dress the Moon god Luna.”
“It’s a privilege.”
I got so tired of them talking about my title; this is so frustrating, I must say. I hope after a few weeks, they will stop talking about it and focus on something else.
I tried out four dresses, and to me, it was perfect, but they refused me to wear them out as they kept on giving excuses like, “This color is too dull for a Moon god Luna.”
“Yes, this is too long.”
Oh seriously, this can’t continue. I didn’t know when I yelled at them, “Can you just settle for a dress? It’s just a ball in the woods.”
They all kept calm, looking at me, and I had to fake my smile, saying, “I was just joking. Go on with your job.”
“Thank you, my queen.” I really hate this for real.
At the end of the day, I settled with the gold dress and matching heels with a purse. They did my makeup, but for pity’s sake, why do I have to wear makeup? I am going to change so many rules soon.
Finally, they finished with my outfit and started praising me. I smiled at them, and they exited the room, letting me know Alpha Nicklaus would fall in love with me over and over again once he lays his eyes on me.
