Derek’s reaction was within Walter’s expectations.
“Derek, where is Elder Dylan? That young man is too powerful; only Elder Dylan can kill him,” Walter stated his purpose for coming to the True Martial Sect.
“Master is in seclusion,” Derek replied.
“In seclusion?” Walter’s expression darkened.
“When will Elder Dylan come out?” Elder Redmond asked.
“It’s uncertain. Master is attempting to break through to the Warrior Saint realm. It could take as little as ten days or as long as several months,” Derek explained.
“Breaking through to the Warrior Saint realm? Elder Dylan has reached such a level!?” Elder Redmond’s face changed, a hint of amazement in his voice.
The Warrior Saint realm is almost the pinnacle for Martial Cultivators. Although there is the Warrior God realm beyond it, the Warrior God realm currently only exists in legends.
“The secret realm in the West Sea, which opens once every hundred years, is about to be accessible. Master needs to break through to the Warrior Saint realm to ensure that the True Martial Sect can obtain more resources once inside,” Derek said, his eyes sparkling with anticipation for the secret realm.
“The secret realm in the West Sea? Is it real?” Walter asked in surprise.
Derek nodded. “The Sect Master and all the elders are in seclusion, preparing to enter that secret realm.”
“I see,” Walter said, his expression dim and unwilling.
Derek’s words indicated that the True Martial Sect would not be able to deal with that young man in the short term.
“Walter, don’t worry. Once my master comes out, I will inform him of this matter and go with him to the Seven Stars Sword Sect to kill that young man,” Derek promised.
“Thank you,” Walter could only nod and express his gratitude.
Meanwhile, Leo and Meigetsu were flying over mountains on the Golden Eagle.
“Leo, ahead is the Red Maple Mountain Range. My Coleman family resides deep within it,” Meigetsu pointed to a vast mountain range below.
The Golden Eagle let out a loud cry as it flew over the Red Maple Mountain Range, adjusting its height and descending through a gap between two peaks.
Below was a vast forest of fiery red maple trees.
“Leo, the Coleman family is at the end of this maple forest, in Azure Dragon Valley,” Meigetsu said.
Leo nodded, looking into the distance where he could see a grand complex of buildings at the end of the forest.
The Golden Eagle let out another cry and accelerated towards the most magnificent hall within the complex.
Several people stood in front of the main hall. In the center was a middle-aged man dressed in a purple-gold robe. His face was handsome and refined, with deep, star-like eyes. To his left stood an elderly man in a deep red robe, with white hair and a kind face. To his right, slightly behind, was a thin old man in a white robe holding a red cane, his eyes faintly red and not looking very approachable. Behind them were several other elderly figures. Among them was Kaen, whom Leo had met before when he and Meigetsu came to the Seven Stars Sword Sect to fetch Violet.
All these people had an Azure Dragon embroidered on their robe sleeves, the symbol of the Coleman family.
The Golden Eagle flapped its massive wings and landed on the square in front of the grand hall. Leo and Meigetsu leaped off its back.
Leo’s gaze first swept over the middle-aged man in the center, then to the elderly man in the deep red robe on his left. From these two, Leo felt a powerful aura that gave him a sense of oppression. The Coleman family’s thousand-year heritage was indeed profound, far beyond ordinary forces.
“This must be Leo,” the middle-aged man said with a gentle and refined smile, stepping forward.
Leo nodded.
“Leo, let me introduce you. This is Donovan, the head of the Coleman family,” Meigetsu said, gesturing towards the middle-aged man.
“Mr. Coleman,” Leo nodded to Donovan.
“This is Harrison Coleman, our family’s highest-ranking elder.”
“And this is Elder Frederick, our second-ranking elder.”
“The others are also elders of our family.”
Meigetsu introduced everyone to Leo.
“Elder Harrison, Elder Frederick, and other elders,” Leo greeted each one.
“Leo,” Harrison smiled kindly.
Frederick’s thin face remained expressionless.
“Meigetsu, is this the person who took Violet and knows some Dao Laws?” Frederick asked after glancing at Leo.
Frederick’s words made Leo frown.
“Elder Frederick, Leo did not take Violet away; he saved her,” Meigetsu shook his head.
“Whether he saved her or not, Violet is young and could easily be deceived by some people. If he can bring Violet out of the tower this time, I will acknowledge that he saved her. Otherwise, many young people in our family would like to spar with him,” Frederick said coldly.
Frederick’s words made Leo’s face darken. “I will do my best regarding Violet’s matter. As for those who want to spar with me, they are welcome to try.”
“You…” Frederick was displeased with Leo’s attitude and released a powerful aura.
Leo snorted coldly. This Frederick seemed to have a problem with him from the start. If Leo knew that Frederick was Akira Coleman’s grandfather, he might not think Frederick had a problem.
After returning from the Seven Stars Sword Sect last time, Akira Coleman had been injured and told Frederick what had happened there.
“Elder Frederick, Leo is our guest and has come for Violet. This is not how we treat guests in the Coleman family,” Donovan said to Frederick disapprovingly.
“I was rash,” Frederick conceded to Donovan but still looked at Leo with some hostility.
Leo ignored Frederick and asked Donovan, “Mr. Coleman, where is Violet trapped?”
“Please follow me,” Donovan said.
Led by Donovan, they bypassed the grand hall and walked through a beautiful maple forest until their view opened up to a huge square, at least three times larger than the Martial Arts Square of the Seven Stars Sword Sect. The square was paved with hard marble slabs.
