“Let’s go, Meigetsu,” Leo said as he walked towards the Martial Arts Square.
In the Martial Arts Square, a fearsome golden eagle, Meigetsu’s mount, awaited them.
As they approached, Leo swiftly leaped onto the back of the Golden Eagle.
Meigetsu also landed on the Golden Eagle’s back and gave the command to take off.
The Golden Eagle let out a piercing cry, spread its massive wings, and soared into the sky with Leo and Meigetsu.
While Leo and Meigetsu were heading to the Coleman family residence, a military off-road vehicle entered Sagsoll Mountain.
Sagsoll Mountain stretched for miles, with lush green peaks and stunning scenery.
The renowned True Martial Sect of the Cultivation Martial World was hidden deep within Sagsoll Mountain.
The military vehicle drove along a hidden mountain path, venturing deep into the forest of Sagsoll Mountain.
The forest was filled with rare and ancient plants like the dove tree, ginkgo, and others.
When the vehicle could go no further, it finally stopped.
Four people got out of the vehicle: Walter, Elder Redmond, and two men dressed in black.
“Sir, we have to proceed on foot from here,” one of the men in black said respectfully to Walter.
Walter nodded, looking ahead with a cold glint in his eyes.
“Walter, as long as True Martial Sect agrees to help, that brat is dead!” Elder Redmond said through gritted teeth.
“Let’s go, Elder Redmond,” Walter said as he led the way forward.
Elder Redmond and the two men in black followed closely behind.
After passing through the forest, their view suddenly opened up.
Ahead was a meadow, where the green grass swayed like a sea in the breeze.
Beyond the meadow was a hill with a cluster of buildings on it. Surrounding the hill were mountains with waterfalls cascading down into clear rivers that flowed through the buildings.
The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful.
The cluster of buildings was none other than the True Martial Sect, with a thousand-year heritage.
Walter’s eyes gleamed as he stepped towards the buildings.
As Walter’s group approached within 500 meters of the buildings, two figures in white robes holding long swords appeared before them.
“Stop! Who are you?” the leading disciple in white demanded.
The appearance of these two young disciples made Elder Redmond’s eyes narrow slightly. Despite their youth, they were both Warrior Generals, strong enough to lead a third-tier sect.
“I am Walter. I am here to see Elder Dylan,” Walter said to the leading disciple in white.
“To see Elder Dylan? Do you have any proof?” The disciple scrutinized Walter suspiciously.
Walter nodded and produced a black token from his person, handing it over.
The leading disciple examined the token carefully, then nodded and looked at Walter with a much softer gaze.
“Please follow me,” the leading disciple said to Walter.
Under the guidance of the two disciples in white, the four entered the cluster of buildings.
“Please stay close and do not touch anything here,” the leading disciple reminded them.
Walter nodded in acknowledgment. True Martial Sect was known for its traps and poisons; this being their headquarters meant it was likely filled with hidden dangers.
After walking for more than ten minutes, they stopped in front of a courtyard filled with camphor trees.
“This is the residence of the Grand Elder. Please wait here while I inform him.”
With that, the leading disciple entered the courtyard.
Soon after, a young man in white robes with gold trim emerged, led by the disciple.
The young man appeared to be around thirty years old, with sharp eyebrows and piercing eyes. His thin lips occasionally revealed a fierce glint in his gaze.
“Derek, these people are here to see the Grand Elder,” the leading disciple said respectfully to the young man in gold-trimmed white robes.
“Walter?” Derek looked at Walter.
“You are… Derek?” Walter seemed to recognize him.
Derek was the first direct disciple of True Martial Sect’s Grand Elder and highly talented.
“Walter, what brings you here?” Derek asked with a smile.
Hearing Derek’s question, Walter’s expression darkened immediately. Elder Redmond’s face also grew heavy.
Walter’s demeanor made Derek frown, sensing that something serious had happened.
“You two may leave. Walter, come with me,” Derek instructed the two disciples before leading Walter and his group inside.
In the courtyard by a camphor tree stood a stone table with several stone stools around it. After Derek, Walter, and Elder Redmond sat down, a servant brought them tea.
“What happened?” Derek asked directly.
Walter’s face was grim as he replied, “My grandson Frank in Langstel has been killed.”
“What? Frank is dead!?” Derek’s expression changed dramatically.
“Not just Frank. Luke Crosby, Carley Roman, and Elder Blake of my Rossetti family are also dead,” Walter said painfully.
Derek’s eyes flashed with a sharp light. “Who in Atraria dares to kill disciples of True Martial Sect!?”
“It’s true,” Walter said as he glanced at the two men in black behind him. They each placed a black urn on the stone table.
“What is this?” Derek’s gaze fixed on the urns.
“They contain the ashes of Luke Crosby and Carley Roman,” Walter sighed heavily. “They didn’t even leave bodies behind. When we found them, they were already reduced to ashes.”
Derek’s handsome face turned dark as water. His master, Elder Dylan of True Martial Sect, had taken him as a disciple twenty years ago and later accepted Luke Crosby and Carley Roman as well. Now Luke Crosby and Carley Roman had been killed without even leaving bodies behind!
“Walter, who dares to kill disciples of True Martial Sect!?” Derek demanded coldly, staring at Walter.
Walter sighed deeply and recounted everything that had happened, including their later attack on Seven Stars Sword Sect.
After hearing everything, even Derek couldn’t hide his shock.
“That boy possesses long-lost Daoist Sects skills. He’s ruthless and can control formations. I almost died at his hands,” Elder Redmond added grimly.
“Daoist Sects? I didn’t expect anyone to truly master Daoist Sects nowadays,” Derek’s eyes gleamed. “But no matter who he is, killing disciples of True Martial Sect is courting death!”
