The marble surface had streaks of crimson, resembling flames seeping from the ground, creating a striking visual.
Stepping onto the plaza, one could feel a fire attribute energy emanating from below.
Leo felt his spiritual power circulate faster within him.
This enormous plaza was extraordinary.
“Leo, this is the sacred ground of my Coleman family,” Donovan said with a proud smile.
Leo nodded and looked ahead.
There were dozens of people on the plaza. Some were sitting cross-legged, while others were sparring on a distant platform.
When they saw Leo and Donovan, they all turned to look.
Among them, three individuals stood out.
One was a refined man in a spotless white robe.
This was Holden Coleman, the most talented disciple of the Coleman family.
Beside Holden stood a man with a defiant look, carrying a gleaming long sword on his back.
His name was Christian.
Next to Christian was a tall woman in a fiery red robe that accentuated her curves. Her light red hair cascaded down, and her captivating eyes held a unique allure.
Her name was Aimee Coleman.
These three were the most gifted disciples of the Coleman family, young yet already at the Warrior Sect level.
Their rapid progress was undoubtedly linked to the unique environment here.
“Akira, is that the guy who took Violet?” Christian asked, his tone unfriendly as he looked at Leo entering the sacred ground.
“That’s him!” Akira Coleman replied, unable to hide his anger upon seeing Leo again.
He would never forget being beaten by Leo in front of Violet, Meigetsu, and Kaen at the Seven Stars Sword Sect.
“I can’t believe so many elders accompanied him to our sacred ground,” Christian sneered.
“Christian, according to Meigetsu, he practices Dao Techniques and might understand formations. He could enter the tower and bring Violet out,” Akira explained.
“Violet will be fine, though she’s been in there longer than usual this time,” Christian said confidently.
Violet, now in her prime, was the goddess in the hearts of many Coleman family disciples.
“If that guy really knows lost Dao Techniques, I’d like to meet him,” Christian said with interest.
“Christian, let me teach him a lesson first. I want revenge!” Akira said angrily.
“You two, he’s here to help. It’s not right to think about teaching him a lesson,” Aimee Coleman frowned.
“Aimee, you’re right. Let’s see if he can help first. If not, we can deal with him later,” Christian said with a wicked smile.
“In a thousand years, only Violet has entered the tower. I’m looking forward to this,” Holden Coleman said with a relaxed smile.
“Leo, our Coleman family members usually train here,” Donovan said.
Leo looked past the training figures on the plaza to its end.
There stood a tower.
The seven-story tower was entirely crimson, majestic and ancient, inspiring awe.
From within the tower emanated an endless Fire Energy.
The plaza’s peculiarity was likely related to the tower.
Seeing Leo gaze at the tower, Donovan continued, “Leo, that’s our Azure Dragon Shrine. Violet is inside.”
“Mr. Coleman, let’s go to the tower,” Leo said.
The group headed towards the Azure Dragon Shrine.
The younger generation of the Coleman family respectfully greeted them as they passed.
“Let’s see how that guy enters our Azure Dragon Shrine. He might just be bluffing and can’t even get close to the formation around it,” Christian said with interest but doubt in Leo’s abilities.
As they approached the tower, the Fire Energy in the air grew purer and thicker.
Some weaker disciples stopped a hundred meters away from the Azure Dragon Shrine, unable to withstand the intense Fire Energy.
Leo looked up as they got closer.
The tower’s surface was covered in ancient crimson patterns that seemed to burn like flames. Within these flames was a faint dragon shape exuding an ancient aura that inspired reverence.
In front of the tower stood a stone sculpture of the Azure Dragon Divine Beast.
Seeing Leo remain composed as he reached this point, Donovan nodded approvingly.
“Leo, you can’t go any further. There’s a formation within thirty meters of the tower,” Donovan warned.
“Let me take a look,” Leo replied casually and took two more steps forward.
“I want to see how this guy enters the formation,” Christian said with narrowed eyes.
The formation around the tower was unbreakable even by the patriarch and elders.
Everyone focused on Leo as he approached the formation’s boundary.
Leo slowly raised his hand and pointed forward with his fingertip.
Suddenly, a massive light screen shot up into the sky, sealing off a thirty-meter radius around the Azure Dragon Shrine.
A spiraling azure dragon rune appeared on the light screen.
Leo felt a scorching repulsive force at his fingertip but didn’t withdraw his hand. Instead, he released his divine sense to envelop the entire formation.
Under his divine sense, crimson formation patterns emerged on the light screen, glowing and intricately connected in a mysterious way.
As Leo’s divine sense scanned these patterns, he felt dizzy due to their complexity.
Even with his current divine sense strength, analyzing these patterns was challenging.
“It’s a level six Defense Formation,” Leo muttered to himself.
A level six Defense Formation required Spirit Sect-level cultivation to set up.
The Nine Heavens Thunder Sword Formation on Spirit Crocodile Cliff at Seven Stars Sword Sect was a level four formation.
The gap between level six and level four formations was significant.
However, this formation wasn’t unsolvable for Leo. It had weakened over time and was merely a Defense Formation.
Moreover, every formation had weak points, including this level six Defense Formation.
Formations varied greatly but generally fell into categories like Killing Formation, Defense Formation, Restriction Formation, Illusion Formation, and Support Formation.
