As his indifferent voice fell, a chill spread throughout the entire ward.
Stern and cold.
Ameer’s gaze was sharp, like a knife sweeping over them, creating an immense sense of oppression that made Riya and Devon feel uneasy.
Riya smiled faintly and said, “So, you are Mr. Edwards’ brother.”
“But what do you mean by seeking justice? I also regret Mr. Edwards’ death.”
“But what does that have to do with a weak woman like me?”
“However, if you want to ask anything, I will tell you everything without the slightest concealment. You can ask me.”
She appeared calm.
There was no sign of anything unusual.
Ameer laughed, but his smile was cold. He said lightly, “It seems your psychological quality is quite good. It’s just a pity you met me.”
“People like you think you can deceive my eyes? Foolish dreams.”
He stepped closer. “I advise you to tell the truth, or I will make you wish for death!”
“I mean what I say!”
Riya forced a smile. “In this world, you can’t talk nonsense without evidence. The authorities have announced everything. What more do you want?”
Ameer sneered, his tone disdainful, as if looking at an ignorant ant.
He said indifferently, “I don’t care what you say or how you argue. None of it matters to me. I came here today for one thing only…”
“Blood for blood!”
He stared coldly at the two of them, his tone indifferent. “Riya, my brother died because of you, and you are the prime suspect. What do you have to argue about?”
“Besides, I, Ameer, do things without needing a reason. If I say you’re the murderer, then you are. If I want you dead, then you must die!”
“Even if we take a step back and this matter is related to you, if I decide to deal with you, you must die.”
Ameer’s tone was icy. “Do you understand my words? In front of me, you have no right to bargain. Don’t overestimate yourself.”
Seeing Ameer approaching step by step, Riya and Devon’s eyes grew more serious.
Don’t be fooled by Ameer’s appearance; his style of doing things was exactly like Jaime and Urijah’s-overbearing and arrogant, only stronger.
Moreover, he seemed to have an attitude of looking down on everyone from above.
Devon immediately stood up and blocked Riya. “Get lost! If you dare touch my sister, I’ll fight you to the death!”
“Commendable courage.”
Ameer sneered, and the next moment, his gaze turned cold as he threw a punch.
The terrifying force instantly struck Devon, sending him flying heavily across the room.
He spat blood from his mouth.
His whole body became weak and listless.
Despite being severely injured, Devon stared at Ameer with anger and killing intent on his face. Ameer looked indifferent, not taking them seriously at all.
After glancing coldly at Devon, he walked towards Riya.
“Die!” Devon roared in fury, his eyes bloodshot as he climbed up from the ground again, filled with madness.
Anyone who dared to touch his sister would face his wrath!
Seeing Devon charging like a mad bull, Ameer’s smile grew colder and more disdainful. His eyes flashed with extreme killing intent. Where did these ants get the courage to challenge him? They were courting death!
He shifted his foot and took a step forward, whipping his leg out like lightning-
Bang!
A chair behind Devon shattered on impact. He lay on the ground convulsing, covered in blood, feeling excruciating pain in his lungs with every breath!
Thud-
Ameer walked over like a sovereign ruler!
He stepped on Devon’s chest.
Devon spat out black blood, staining his clothes red.
He was on the verge of death!
“Are you seeking death?” Ameer stared at him coldly. “If so, I will grant it!”
Riya felt a sharp pain in her heart and took a deep breath. “Stop hitting him. I’ll go with you!”
“This matter has nothing to do with my brother!”
Ameer said indifferently, “Whether it has anything to do with him is not for you to decide but for me to decide.”
As his cold voice fell, there were two cracking sounds as he broke Devon’s legs underfoot!
The intense pain almost made Devon faint on the spot…
Riya clenched her fists tightly, the coldness in her eyes undisguised.
Ameer stepped forward indifferently and said coldly, “Let’s go! I will settle accounts with you properly!”
