Ameer, in the war department, was a high ranking officer in war department, a figure of considerable stature. Though not omnipotent, he held significant influence. Now, his brother had been killed-what kind of situation was this?
He had to avenge this!
Blood for blood!
This was non-negotiable.
A cold, murderous glint flashed in his eyes, causing the entire space to drop a few degrees.
The Edwards family members were all exhilarated. With Ameer around, they had a pillar of support. After all, Ameer was a big shot in the war department, an extraordinary figure. With him in charge, who would dare to bully the Edwards family? It would be courting death.
Ameer said indifferently, “No matter how wrong my brother was, he was still my brother.”
“I, Ameer, a rising star in the war department, have made significant contributions over the years and hold some sway there.”
“No matter who is behind this, I will kill him!”
“Make him regret it for the rest of his life.”
He didn’t understand why that department announced his brother’s death as a suicide out of guilt, but he knew the other side must have connections. However, these minor connections were nothing and not worth fearing to him.
With Ameer taking action personally, who in Stresall could stand against him? Not even the city lord would dare. Even the so-called General’s Mansion had to show him some respect. He could walk sideways with impunity!
What was there to fear?
Ameer’s eyes were cold as he asked, “Where is the person named Riya?”
“We have found her information, Mr. Ameer. Please take a look.”
“I will go there myself!” Ameer’s eyes were filled with killing intent as he said in a deep voice, “I want to see what this woman is capable of!”
“No matter what, I, Ameer, will never let her go.”
“Give me the information you found!”
Gloria and the others obediently handed over the information they had gathered to Ameer.
“Ameer, this time we really owe you.”
“My brother’s matter is my matter.”
“Gloria, no need to be polite.”
Ameer said indifferently as he grabbed the file and strode out. His aura was extremely intimidating.
Riya was his first target!
Ten minutes later, in front of Springfield Hospital, a car slowly came to a stop. A man in military uniform stepped out, his cold eyes sweeping over everyone, creating an invisible pressure.
His presence attracted many glances, but no one dared to say anything. They could tell these people were not ordinary and didn’t dare meddle.
Seeing them, people immediately avoided them, not wanting to get involved.
Ameer strode into the hospital and approached the front desk. “Which room is Riya in? 324?”
His cold eyes and icy tone made the nurse shiver. Seeing their uniforms, she was startled.
“I’ll check for you.”
Quickly, the nurse found the information and said, “Yes, that’s correct.”
Without another word, Ameer walked upstairs with a grim face. His cold and murderous eyes scanned for his target.
At that moment, Riya and Devon were chatting quietly in the room.
As they talked animatedly, there was a loud bang as the door was forcibly opened. A figure stepped in wearing a military uniform, exuding an intimidating aura!
The faint killing intent emanating from him made their hearts race and their breaths catch.
“Who are you?” Riya forced herself to stay calm and asked.
“Ameer of the Edwards family. I’m Jaime’s brother. Today, I’m here to settle a score!”
