Book:Fated To The Ruthless Alpha King Published:2024-6-8

Sometimes Valledor wondered why he had such a big block head instead of a servant. How can this fool have known about the red moon Alpha’s arrival here and fail to inform him on time? Now the chance to run away has passed, but then… he cannot reveal his anger to Luca just yet. He’ll make sure to punish him later, but now he needs him because he doesn’t know if he’s counting his last few minutes on earth.
“Luca?”
“Yes sire.”
“I want you to do something for me.”
“What is it, sire?”
“I want you to help me sneak a phone in here.”
“Sir, you know I’m not allowed to do that…”
“Please Luca. I know it’s not allowed, but you can do it… just help me please, this is really important.”
“Okay sire.”
Luca left and soon returned with a small phone in his pocket. He handed it to Valledor who took it from him and began dialing a number.

Samara was still fuming about Walden’s behavior when she received a phone call phone vibrating in her back pocket. She removed the cell to check the number which was a private number, but she already knew who it was.
She picked up the cell because she knows that for this person to have called, it must have been important.
“Valledor, I’ve told you that we must limit our contact over the phone. You know that we can be tracked.”
“I know mistress, but I only gave this call because it’s possible that it might be the last time you will ever hear my voice.”
Samara’s heart shook. “What is it? What’s the matter? Tell me!!!” She panicked. “Is anything wrong? How did your meeting with alpha Jireh go?”
“It went somewhat well. I tried hard to conceal my plans once it became obvious that Jireh would never support us, but it turned out that he still went to report me to the queen, and now I’m in the dungeon as I speak to you.
“Oh no, Valledor!” Samara cried. Only the goddess knows what sentence Miranda will give him. Death was inevitable as treason is not a forgivable offense by any wolf tribe.
“I’m sorry Valledor. I’m sorry that you have to go because of this mission. I promise that your efforts will never be forgotten.”
“I know. That’s why I called you. I’m sorry I couldn’t continue to the end but I promise to conceal your identity no matter what. Miranda and her husband must go down whether I am alive or not. I just want you to promise me that.”
“I promise you…. I promise that I will not fail! I promise that I will keep up with our plans until the end.”
“Goodbye partner.”
“Goodbye, Valledor.”
The beep of the phone cut Samara’s heart by the knife. She didn’t expect it to hurt this much, even though she knew this might happen and she didn’t mind sacrificing Valledor’s life, it still hurt
**********
About an hour after, Valledor was dragged in chains into the lotus court. The queen was seated with her mate standing behind her as well as some circle leaders and of course, the executioner.
“Beta Valledor, you have been found wanting of treason by your actions of yesterday. Did you go to the red moon court to connive with another leader against your own?”
“I did go to the red moon court my queen but it was never to connive against anyone. I would never betray my people not to talk of my leader,” he lied.
Miranda smirked “don’t play dumb with us, Valledor. We know all what you were planning and we know that you are not alone.”
“With all due respect, you have no proof my queen. You cannot sentence me unless you have valid evidence that I committed crimes of any such reason.”
“Of course, Valledor. I will not bring you in here if I didn’t have anything tangible to arraign you with. Putting you in the prison cell was just as smart tactic I decided to play. I wanted to see you break. I wanted you to make a mistake, one that would help me find out your real motive. You didn’t even waste any time before you started placing calls to your connivers. Miranda and her husband must go down whether I am alive or not… don’t these words sound familiar to you?”
Shit! The Queen must have found out about his call to Samara. Valledor knows then that there is no denying it.
“Do whatever you want with me. I am not scared of death but I’ll tell you one thing; one thing I’ve always wanted to tell you and your mate. Both of you will get what’s coming to you, just wait and see. You will not last long on that seat. I promise you that.”
Miranda grinned, “at least it’s good to know that you are not going to be scared of what awaits you in this court. Before I proceed, you will tell me who you are working with and I might just spare your life.”
Valledor scented a hint of fear in Miranda’s voice, he loved the sound of it.
“Ha! Of course, you know that the last thing I’ll ever do! I will never expose my connivers, but if there is anyone else you want to kill at all, you can kill my useless rat Luca. He’s the one who gave me the phone in the cell and he’s been working with me. He knows all of my plans. You can kill him because he’s nothing but worthless and evil.”
Miranda nodded, “very well then. It seems as if you are not ready to die alone. I will sentence you along with your rat.”
She sent the guards to call Luca but then they returned a while back without anyone in captive. Luca had run away as the smart lad had sensed danger coming toward him, he must have known that Valledor would expose him. But the servant was not ready to die for anyone, not even for his master.
Valledor, upon hearing, nearly wanted to tear his hair out. That scoundrel! How dare he leave me like this! He dares to put me in trouble and he dares to run away leaving me like this.
The sound of laughter cut short his thoughts as he saw the queen and the others laughing at him hysterically. What was so funny? He asked himself irritably.
“You see Valledor, even the ones you put beside you, even the ones you trust the most, they betray you like you are nothing. Now you see how it feels and I’m glad that you will take this experience which you to the grave.”
She began to give her sentence.
“Beta Valledor, you have been found guilty of treason against your leader and I, as the lotus queen hereby strip you of all your assignments, and sentence you to death. You will be executed in this court immediately.”
“I accept my sentence, and I will die gladly knowing that one day you and your alpha will join me.”
Miranda did not respond to his evil words, only delighted herself with the sight of Valledor’s head being chopped off by the executioner.
