“Hehe! Miss Murphy, be careful! It’s really unlucky to just be discharged from the hospital and fall again!” Ranita said lightly, pushing Shannon to stabilize her.
Shannon’s face looked unpleasant, casting a pitiful glance at Brendon and then at Ranita. “Ranita, thank you.”
But in reality, Shannon was struggling to contain her anger, even a hint of disgust was showing.
“I have something to do, I’ll leave first!” Ranita was in a good mood as she hurried away. Unexpectedly, Brendon followed her out.
“Why are you following me? Aren’t you taking care of Shannon?” Ranita turned around, glaring at him. “Why did you hold my hand just now? She needed your support, doing that would only make her more sad and upset!”
Brendon pursed his lips, looking at her.
“Are you jealous?”
“Hehe!” Ranita retorted with two words before turning and leaving.
Soon, a tall figure blocked her path. Brendon looked down at her and asked, “Then why are you angry?”
Why was she angry?
Ranita felt a pang in her heart.
“Brendon, let me through.” Ranita was a bit annoyed, her eyes reddening.
Brendon didn’t continue to press her but remembered Eve’s words. Eve’s voice was soft, but he still heard it.
-You spoil him!
Brendon felt like honey was poured into his heart, making him involuntarily jubilant.
If Ranita was willing to spoil him, it meant he was important to her too.
“I came to find you. I’m going to see Ayaan.” As for Shannon, not a word was mentioned, and he didn’t know what she was thinking.
“No need, Dylan won’t let you in.” After saying that, Ranita saw Shannon chasing out of the villa, looking like a fragile doll with her pale face and panting breath. “Ranita, Brendon!”
“Why did you come out?” Brendon frowned, not in a good mood. “Aren’t you feeling unwell? You should rest at home!”
“But… I’m alone at home. Can you stay with me?” Shannon looked pitifully at Brendon.
“My parents will be here soon.”
This was a reminder to Brendon, and indeed, he wanted to talk to Oscar.
Seeing Brendon hesitating, Ranita smiled lightly, “Miss Murphy is right, it’s not safe for her to be alone at home. You should stay with her.”
Ranita was uneasy.

“Either choose you and Ayaan, or stop bothering you and your son!”
Eve’s words made Ranita even more uncomfortable.
Why was loving someone so difficult?
“You come with me!” Eve angrily moved to leave, but Ranita stopped her. “Eve, don’t go.”
“Eve, calm down a bit.” Dylan also tried to calm Eve down.
“Dylan, have you gone mad? How can you be as spineless as her…” Eve kicked Dylan in anger, and Dylan frowned, saying, “I heard… Chris said that the Murphy family’s projects are in conflict with the Stuart Group’s recently, Brendon is probably quite annoyed.”
