It seemed that he said every word with pain. Katherine felt upset. She cried while shaking her head, “Please don’t say anything more. Let’s wait for the ambulance. You’ll be fine!”

She touched her head, saying gently, “He’s not a weird uncle. He’s your father. When father wakes up, you and your brother call him ‘Dad’, ok?”
Merry felt struggled in her heart. However, when she saw Katherine’s gentle face, she nodded reluctantly.
If she called the weird uncle “Dad”, mum would not cry.
It was true that Jacob woke up in a short time. He opened his eyes with his confused look. He didn’t recover consciousness yet. Then he heard an innocent child’s voice, “Mum, the weird uncle woke up!”
The voice was charming and soft. Jacob’s eyelashes moved.

Jacob slightly shook his head. He moved his body in a wish to sit up.
Katherine helped him, “Some water?”

Katherine looked at him helplessly, “I won’t leave you. I’ll get you some water.”
Jacob looked back at her for a few seconds, and then let her off.
When Katherine fetched him some water, she saw Jacob and the two kids staring at each other. She immediately cast a look to the kids and Felix closed his mouth, saying nothing.
Merry took a look at Jacob, hesitated for a while and then pouted, “Dad.”
Jacob was drinking water and he froze. He soon put down the glass and looked at Merry with his bright eyes. He asked a bit unbelievably, “Merry, what did you call me?”
Merry looked at Katherine secretly. Seeing Katherine’s encouragement, Merry said in a higher voice, “Dad.”
“One more time please.”
“Dad!” This time Felix called him dad.
Katherine saw a big smile on Jacob’s face.
It was her first time to see him smile so happily and his eyebrows and eyes curved.
She looked at him and became gentler.
If they could embrace so much happiness for the rest of their life, the hardship in the past would finally turn into bubbles.
The reunion family didn’t notice that a pair of eyes was watching them outside the door.
The owner of the eyes watched them for a long time, but he didn’t enter the room. Instead, he turned around and left secretly.
Theo got the news that Jacob came across a car accident as soon as he got off the plane. He hurriedly came up to the hotel, but it never happened to him that what he saw was such a happy family reunion.

After that message, he sent one more: the past two years was the happiest time I’ve ever had.
After the messages were sent, Theo turned off the phone and took the phone card out of the phone. He took a look at the card in his palm, threw it into the trash bin, turned around and left.
