It was the first time that Jacob was called a “weird dude”.
It wouldn’t have mattered if it came from someone else. But since it came from this little girl, Jacob was inexplicably upset.
Hearing what Merry said, Felix turned around and looked at Jacob. He then asked Merry, “How is he weird?”
“He kept staring at me! Like he’s going to bite me.” Merry complained.
Felix’s eyes opened wide. He also remembered what Katherine said to scare them and immediately hugged Merry. “Don’t be afraid. I will protect you.”
Jacob didn’t pay much attention to what Felix looked like and was only a little dumbfounded.
For the first time in his life, he heard someone describe himself this way.
Did he have a big mouth? How could she say that he was going to bite her?
Merry buried herself in Felix’s arms. She couldn’t help but peek at Jacob. Seeing that Jacob was still looking at her, she immediately hid in Felix’s arms again. “No, brother, I’m scared.”
Felix turned around and glared at Jacob. Seeing that Jacob didn’t look at him at all, he immediately hugged Merry awkwardly. “Then let’s sit somewhere else.”
With that, the two children moved to the other side, far away from Jacob.

He suddenly wanted to play tricks on her. Seeing the baby girl glance at him even though she moved away, he looked back at her and made her even more frightened.
If it was a different child, Jacob wouldn’t have been interested in teasing them. But with this baby girl, he didn’t know why. Even though she described him as a weird dude who bit, he still liked her a lot.
Jacob didn’t think over it too much. He just thought that she was cute, and whoever saw her would probably come to like her.
The naughty kid was also a child who couldn’t concentrate on one thing. After playing for a short while, he came out and asked Jacob to take him to play something else.
Jacob had no choice, but to do as the kid said now that he left the ball pit.
When Merry saw Jacob holding a boy’s hand, she immediately said to Felix, “Oh no! That boy is going to be eaten by the weird dude.”
Jacob frowned when he heard these words vaguely.
He was determined to let her have a try and see what he’s like when he bites children the next time he sees her.
The two of them just left when Jacob suddenly heard the girl cry excitedly, “Mommy!”
Jacob subconsciously looked back, wanting to see what a kind of mother gave birth to such a child.
However, the naughty kid dragged him and said, “Uncle, I want to go on that.”
Jacob looked up and saw that it was a pirate ship.
He frowned. “Why would a kid go on that kind of thing?”
“I went on it before. It’s fun!”
Jacob said a few perfunctory words. When he looked back, he saw the two babies stand in front of a woman. The woman squatted, and her face was blocked by the two children, so Jacob couldn’t see her face. But from his perspective, he could see she was very thin.
Jacob took a glance and then looked away.
No women interested him except for Katherine now.
Looking ahead, Jacob’s eyes filled with pain.
“Where could she be?” Jacob wondered.
Was she really dead? He didn’t believe it.
Even if it took him ten years, twenty years, or even longer, he would find her.
Katherine was a little out of breath. After sending the boy to the office, she went to KFC to buy Coke.
But watching the two children drink Coke happily, Katherine didn’t feel tired.
Now that she wasn’t thirsty, Merry shared with Katherine what she saw just now. “Mom, just now I saw the weird dude who bit.”
Katherine only found it funny. Weird dudes who bit and ate children were just what she said to scare them. There were no people that ate children.
But she still pretended to be surprised. “Really?”
“Really! That weird dude kept looking at me, and then my brother protected me.”
Katherine became a little worried. It wasn’t good news hearing a man staring at a baby girl. “In the future, make sure to stay away from weird men like this and don’t talk to them. Do you understand, Merry?”
Merry nodded obediently, then glanced back, and said, “That weird dude is right there. He is still holding a boy’s hand. That boy might be eaten in a while.”
Katherine looked in the direction that she pointed at, and with just one glance, her pupils suddenly contracted.
That figure from the back looked very much like Jacob.
Although he likely wouldn’t bring a child to the amusement park, Katherine couldn’t help but become vigilant as soon as she thought about how she saw him a couple of days ago.
Katherine stared at him. When he turned to the side to talk to the child, she saw his face clearly and her heart thudded.
It really was Jacob!
Katherine’s face turned pale. She immediately picked up her children and took them away.
She didn’t expect that something with such a slim chance still happened.
Fortunately, Jacob didn’t find out anything.
After returning home with the two children in a hurry, Katherine had a lingering fear.
When she calmed down, Katherine couldn’t help but think of the child Jacob held hands with today.
He didn’t look very old. Could he be Jacob and Lucia’s child?
