Chapter 15 Never See You Again

Book:Love And Hate Are Mingled Published:2024-5-1

Pregnant once again, the person who was the most surprised was Katherine.
Didn’t Lucia scheme against her and damaged her uterus to prevent her from having children?
In the past two months, her period never came. She thought it was because her uterus was damaged, but she did not expect that it was because she was pregnant…
Katherine, who had once given up on everything, suddenly found hope.
For her child, she looked forward to life.
But…
Katherine suddenly turned to peek at Jacob who was on the side. This man would never let her give birth to a child!
“Jacob…” Katherine couldn’t help but take the initiative and ask, “If I said that I wasn’t the one who caused Lucia to get chronic poisoning, would you believe me?”
Jacob stared at Katherine deeply.
Seeing her re-lit eyes, she knew that the Katherine whom he familiar with and would react to him was back.
It was because of the child in her belly.
“Katherine, are you begging me to keep the child?” Jacob smiled arrogantly, both confident and cruel.
Katherine looked down and admitted, “Yes.”
“But what are you going to use to exchange with me?” Jacob stared at her closely. “Katherine, tell me, what are you going to use to beg me to let go of that thing in your belly?”
Katherine slowly clenched her fist. She had nothing left long ago.
“Jacob, you won’t let the child in my belly live no matter what I say, what I do, or how I beg, right?” She returned to being calm, which was the expression that Jacob hated the most. He also became irritated.
“So what?” Jacob’s words became even more sarcastic. “Katherine, since your last miscarriage, I have only touched you once. How did you win the jackpot and became pregnant just for once? Do you really think I believe that the thing in your belly is mine? I have seen you hang out with other people with my own eyes. How do I know who left that garbage in your womb!”
Katherine’s face paled suddenly.
She took a few steps back and leaned weakly against the wall. Her eyes were fraught with despair. “I hoped too much. You just want my life… you just want me dead…”
From the corner of her eye, Katherine saw a scalpel that shone coldly.
“Jacob, you forced me into this,” she murmured. Her expression was slowly tainted with extreme madness. “You refused to let go of me and the innocent child in my belly. It’s all because you forced me!”
She yelled vigorously. She grabbed the scalpel and held it tightly between her fingertips.
“Katherine, what do you want to do?” Jacob suddenly became nervous. “Put the scalpel down!”
Katherine looked up as tears gushed down, wetting her pale face.
“Jacob, you killed my child twice, and now the third one, you still won’t let go… Since you are going to be heartless, then I won’t give this heart to Lucia even if I have to die today.”
After Katherine finished speaking, she grabbed the dagger tightly and thrust it into her heart in a backhanded motion.
“Katherine!” Jacob’s face changed drastically, and his voice sounded panicked. He rushed over in a few steps and caught Katherine’s weak and fallen body.
The dagger had penetrated deeply into her heart. Red blood gurgled out uncontrollably and drenching her entire shirt quickly.
With a pale face, Katherine was weak and limp in Jacob’s arms.
“Lucia framed me for half of my life. Because of her, everyone gave me the cold-shoulder and you misunderstood me… Now, I can finally get back at her. She wants my heart, then I won’t give it to her no matter what…” Katherine said and laughed in relief, looking at Jacob with emotionless eyes.
“Jacob, from now on, I will never beg you again. I hope that in my next life… I… won’t ever… meet you again.”
Katherine’s eyelids slowly closed, and her voice was too low to be heard. “Jacob, I don’t want to ever meet you again…”
Her last sound also disappeared.
Jacob’s face was panicked and pale. He hurriedly picked up Katherine and rushed to the emergency room.
“Doctor, come here! Come here right away!” He shouted with exhaustion. His face was full of fear like never before.
He was afraid that this woman would die.
