Sienna was scolded to confusion. She was unable to believe that Eliza, who had always treated her like a close friend, was now barking at her like a mad dog.
Rachel was even more dumbfounded. This was the first time she ever saw Eliza speaking up for her and defending her. It flattered her.
Mason immediately stood up and grasped Eliza’s wrist. He awkwardly apologized to Sienna, ” Sienna, I’m sorry. She hadn’t eaten breakfast and is in a rather grumpy mood. Don’t take it to heart. I’ll take her for breakfast now.”
Saying that, he dragged Eliza away. She angrily scolded him, “Don’t pull me, Mason. This person is obviously just picking a fight. She was only seemingly caring about her. Why did she even care? The only people left in the living room were Rachel, her parents, and Sienna.

“Hmm.” Rachel forced a light smile and responded, “I know, thank you. I’m fine.”
“I’m glad as long as you’re fine.” Sienna smiled lightly.
Rachel looked at her smile and could no longer tell how much sincerity she had.
It was obvious that she hated her. Why would she forcefully pretend that she was fine like nothing was wrong?

Robert dragged Sophie’s hand and stood up, “Rachel, I’ll take your mother up to rest. It’s been a long day and night without sleep. The elderly has to rest more.”
“Okay.” Rachel stood up and watched them leave.
The living room instantly cleared down.
Sienna leaned on the sofa and looked down at her nails. Her attitude slackened when everyone was gone.
Kate came out at this moment and said to Rachel, “Miss Hill, breakfast is ready. You can come over to eat.”
“Thank you, Kate.” Rachel thanked her. Kate returned to the kitchen with a smile on her face to continue her work.
Rachel looked at Sienna, who was sitting quietly beside her. She politely spoke in a warm voice, “Sienna, join us for breakfast.”
Sienna did not reply. With an indifferent face, she slowly stood up as if she hadn’t heard her and walked towards the stairs.

Rachel stood in the middle of the living room, looking at her back. Her heart felt lost for a moment.
