Thereafter, Nancy was given the task of verifying the invoices for the previous month. There were 3 large files and stacked like a mountain and weighed down on Nancy’s shoulders.
Finally, it was time to go home. Nancy was hoping that Supervisor Tailor would go easy on her and let her go home. Unexpectedly, she said, “Nancy, I want the analysis and report first thing tomorrow morning.”
That meant that Nancy’s got to finish it today. She took the entire afternoon to finish half of it. The rest of her co-workers are already starting to leave. Nancy collapsed on her table.
“Oh god, why do I have such a miserable life?” Nancy murmured in agony.
At this moment, the office door opened and Mandy, with all smiles, burst into the office and leaned on the top of her. “My dear Nancy, after work let’s go shopping!”
Still slumped on her table, Nancy sobbed, “I still don’t know when I can go home tonight. You still want me to go shopping with you? Dream on!”
Standing up, Mandy asked, “What happened? Why? Today’s the first day at work, don’t tell me that you need to work overtime?”
Nancy raised her head and pointed towards the stack on the table, “Look, I need to finish those tonight. The report is due first thing tomorrow morning.”
Mandy picked up one of the files and said in disbelief, “You’re kidding right? This must be done by today? Don’t tell me you had offended your supervisor?”
Nancy said expressionless, “Dare I offend her? I can’t wait to please her. I tremble under her glare. All I did was to have lunch with Zack and was late for 15 minutes.”
“What! You are already having lunch with Zack?” Mandy shouted in disbelief.
Nancy desperately covered her mouth. There are ears all around, “Don’t shout! It’s not what you think it is. It’s a long story, I can’t be bothered to explain.”
“Nancy, aren’t we besties? You didn’t even tell me about this. It’s over! Let’s part our ways!” Mandy pretended to be angry, crossed her hands over her breasts, and pouted so much you could hook a pot on it.
At this time, an uninvited guest came directly into the office. You could hear his laughter before seeing him. It was Hale Brown.
Seeing an upset Mandy, he said, “Why are you two still around? Our company doesn’t overwork our staff. You need not work overtime here.”

I feel that you’re rather special. I wonder if I can have the honor of inviting this beautiful and adorable lady for dinner?”
Nancy felt the goosebumps jumped out from her body. The flirtatious duo is truly at another level!
Mandy turned and looked at Nancy. Nancy quickly said, “Go go, don’t worry about me. I have to continue my work.”
Mandy was overjoyed. She picked up her little handbag and headed towards the door, “Then we’ll leave first. Your hard work will be rewarded! I’ll bring you something nice tomorrow. Love you, dearest Nancy!”
